Deeker's Message of the Week

January 3, 2010

Content Codes Change

Please note that the content code letter "K" has been reassigned. Up until now it was used to denote stories with "Baby paraphernalia" in them. It has since been supplanted with content to indicate "white diapers". In the interests of maintaining a focus on "Deekerian" diaper elements (white diapers being one very prominent characteristic), it was deemed necessary to include such a code.

The content code for "baby paraphernalia" has been reassigned to the newly added "9" code. The story listings pages have been updated to reflect this change, though the individual stories in which K was designated as a code for "Baby paraphernalia" will still show this until and unless these stories are updated.

Because "White diapers" is a significant Deekerian element, it will be considered when weighing a story's Deekerian score, which means the weight of the points given will be redistributed. These changes will come in future updates.

Currently no stories show the K code, but the effort is underway to identify the stories where white diapers are mentioned. These stories will show the newly assigned "K" code once this project has been completed.

The story submission forms (Contributed Stories and True Accounts) have been updated to include this change.

In case you are wondering why "White diapers" wasn't just simply added and assigned content code "9", this is because the codes pertaining to the physical characteristics of the diapers are grouped together, whereas elements not directly related to diapers are listed at the end.

Have a good week, everyone! Stay happily and thickly diapered!
