Plagiarism Reminder

Just a quick reminder to everyone. If you post a story for which you claim credit for writing, and then someone else rightfully and veritably claims authorship, the story in question will be REMOVED from the site.

The reason I am bringing up this matter again is because some more works of plagiarism have been identified and removed accordingly. Please respect other authors who value their work. Why not put your own ideas to work and make a story of your own? The latter sounds like a lot more fun.

To combat this problem, there are a number of ways plagiarism can be spotted. This article offers some tips on how to detect plagiarism, although most of it applies to academic writing. The fifth tip, "Check a portion of the essay on Google or another search engine" is one I can easily use if I personally have any reason to suspect the authenticity of a story's claimed authorship.

Have a good week, everyone! Stay happily and thickly diapered!
