Deeker's Message of the Week

April 12, 2009

Responses to "Ask Deeker A Question" to be Posted Next Week

Once again the response to Ask Deeker a Question has been great and I enjoy taking the time to answer people's questions. Unfortunately, as I spent a good part of my day with the family for Easter I did not have time to have my responses prepared, so they will go up next week.

QOTW Finally Updated!

I am, however, pleased to announce that the QOTW has been updated after having the question from 3/22 posted for the past three weeks. This week's question is the following:

Which boys have you allowed to wear your diapers?

Happy 15th Birthday, Hobbes!

My sweet little cat Hobbes turned 15 on the 11th of April. He has been my feline companion for much of that time as I got him on November 8, 1994 when he was just shy of being seven months old (picture #1, picture #2).

I know his exact birth date as he was born from one of my friend's cats. I had moved out on my own in October of that year, and of course once I was settled in I wanted to get a cat of my own. One day my friend called me and asked me if I wanted to take Hobbes, as Hobbes had been reportedly not getting along with his mother, plus, my friend knew I wanted a cat anyway. I readily said yes, and so on my next day off I got the necessary items (cat bowl, cat food, litter box, litter) and then went to get Hobbes. He meowed all the way home, but once he got used to his new digs he settled in just fine. I know he's up in years, but he still has a spring in his step and he can run up the stairs like they were nothing. While I will probably never have any children of my own, I do feel just as blessed to have cats to love and look after.

Have a good week, everyone! Stay happily and thickly diapered!
