New Article Posted- Deeker's Writing Rants
I have posted an article called Deeker's Writing Rants, which details some of the things that I wish more writers would stop doing. I doubt it will help to reduce the mistakes people make in their writing, but I feel that the problems I see all too often in the stories that are submitted should be brought to everyone's attention. Most online writing guides do not cover these points simply because they are such asinine errors that nobody should ever make, errors I find incredibly annoying by their sheer frequency.
I don't want to make anyone afraid to submit a story lest I come down on them with wrath, but perhaps by bringing these problems out into the open this will help cut down on the crappily written submissions I see each week.
