Deeker's Message of the Week

(1) Since I now work the swing shift at my present job (2:45 PM to 11:15 PM Monday through Friday), I have become accustomed to staying up later and thus getting up later. Ergo, on weekends, I do not get out of bed as early as I did before, so I do not have as much time to complete the work that needs to be done for the updates.

(2) Since I am not available most evenings to do things with and for my family, I have been spending part of my Sunday mornings with my Mom and Dad, when I go to their place to have breakfast and to help my dad with typing some of his letters (he's finally getting with the times and learning how to use a computer for this task after using a typewriter all his life). This takes about an hour to two hours out of my precious Sunday morning time for updating this site. Unfortunately I cannot let my family even know about this site, so it's impossible for me to come up with any convenient or plausible excuses for being "busy" on Sunday morning.

Because of all this going on lately, I have modified my own self-imposed deadline. Rather than move the time back to a later point in the day, someone suggested that I allow a window of time during which people should expect me to have the site updated. This window occurs between 12:00 noon and 3:00 PM Mountain Time. For those of you in other time zones, this means:

11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Pacific
1:00 PM to 4:00 PM Central
2:00 PM to 5:00 PM Eastern

For those of you outside the continental United States, calculate how far away you are from GMT - 7:00 to determine when this time occurs for you locally.
