Part 61
Chris and Derek go outside to play basketball in the driveway. Chris is in his diapers, of course, while Derek is in his improvised diapers consisting of several pairs of underpants. Jennie and Steven return from the store and find Derek to be wearing his "diapers." Derek claims that he got the runs, when in fact it was brought on by the laxatives that he and Chris took. Jennie offers Derek some medication for his runs, but then Derek identifies the medication offered to him as one of the laxative tablets. Jennie questions how Derek would know what the laxative tablets look like. It turns out that Jennie had been planning to give Derek a laxative to prolong his runs anyway. She knows Derek wants to wear diapers and she's "helping " him to achieve this objective. Derek is shy about having to allow Jennie to change his diapers if he is to start wearing them from then on. Meanwhile, the effects of the additional laxative continue to cause Derek to have frequent, runny bowel movements and his remaining supply of underwear proves to be inadequate, so he goes with Chris to wear his diapers. When Derek goes with Chris back to his house Cindy greets them. Cindy offers to diaper Derek, but he asks that Chris do it because of his reluctance to let a girl see him naked and to touch his privates. Cindy insists that she diaper Derek on the basis that she has more experience with diapering Chris than Chris has with diapering himself and other boys. Eventually Derek concedes and allows Cindy to diaper him. She gets out Chris' older diapers that no longer fit him, but still fit Derek. While Derek feels apprehensive about his mother's reaction to seeing him in diapers, he prepares himself for it.
After Derek's mother gets home from work and sees Derek wearing diapers she reacts negatively and she sends Chris home. Chris feels guilty as he got Derek in trouble by his mom for getting him to wear diapers. After Chris; mom gets home Chris tells her about his day. Chris' mom then decides to go talk to Derek's mom about letting him wear diapers, mainly to save her from the same difficulties she had trying to keep Chris from wanting to wear diapers at the same age. Derek's mom-- whose name is Carol-wishes not to discuss the matter at first but then concedes and allows Chris and his mother to enter the house and talk about letting Derek wear diapers. While Derek's mom still has some reservations about letting Derek wear diapers, she at least feels better about what happened that day and understands Chris' reasons for wearing diapers.
Lisa takes Chris to the mall along with Derek. Cindy had changed Chris' diapers that morning but she isn't aware of Chris needing to go with Lisa to the mall, so Cindy diapers Chris in his usual super-thick cloth diapers, which don't allow shorts to fit over them. Lisa has Chris come with her to the mall wearing just his diapers, citing the early time they are there in the middle of the week along with the fact that the Kidz Klothex store is just inside the entrance to the mall. With this, Chris goes into the mall and the store wearing just his diapers and a shirt. Chris and Lisa go to Derek's house, where Derek's mother gives Lisa the money to buy the things she wants Lisa to pick up
As Chris arrives at the mall with Lisa, along with Derek, Steven and their sister Jennie, he has second thoughts about entering the mall wearing only diapers and a shirt. Lisa insists that he come in with her, so Chris concedes and makes his way into the mall, attracting the attention of several people who see him and the other boys openly wearing diapers. The enter Kidz Klothez, which is especially busy because of several parents buying clothes for back-to-school. While Chris and the others are waiting to be served they observe a lady with two boys and a girl, buying Thickies diapers for her boys. The boys capture Chris' attention as they are very enthusiastic about wearing diapers. When it comes to Lisa's turn she places her order for diapers for Chris as well as for Derek and Steven. Derek was taken into the back room to be measured for their diapers (Steven isn't measured). After Chris leaves the mall he decides that going to the mall in just diapers was a lot of fun. Chris spends the afternoon with Derek and Steven and becomes more familiar with Derek's regressive tendencies, as evidenced by his desire to be babied.
When the big day comes for Chris and Tony to leave they are very excited. They get up at 5:00 AM to get ready to catch an early flight out of Boise. While waiting for Lisa (who takes Chris and Tony to the airport) Chris goes out to get the newspaper. He discovers it has not yet arrived, but while he is looking into the newspaper box the delivery boy comes by and sees Chris outside in just his diapers and a shirt. With the newspaper, Chris and Tony read the comics while waiting for Lisa. Chris' mother wakes up to make sure the boys are ready. When she discovers they aren't she helps Lisa in changing their diapers and getting them dressed before they leave. After the boys are changed and dressed Lisa takes them to the airport. Chris and Tony board the plane and exchange small-talk with the stewardess, to whom they mention that they are doing a photo shoot to model diapers in Los Angeles. The flight then takes off and the boys are on their way.
Chris and Tony are greeted by Linda White, the representative for CKM Products who is responsible for picking up the boys and getting them to the hotel. Chris and Tony at this point are joined by two other boys on the same flight from San Francisco named Doug (age 9) and Bryan (age 11) who are also in the photo shoot. After the boys get their baggage they board the van that takes them to the hotel. Chris and Tony are shown to their room where they have plenty of activities available to them within the room as well as in the hotel itself. Chris and Tony decide to rest after traveling while Brian, one of their two other roommates, decides to go play games. When he returns for a diaper change he finds Chris and Tony asleep on one of the two beds in the room. He invites Chris and Tony to join him down in the rec room to play pool and other games with him. During this time Chris and Tony get to know Brian. Back at the room they talk about why they all wear diapers. Later on Linda returns with John (age 12), who shares the room with Chris, Tony and Brian. John is shy at first but he opens up to the other boys. Just before the boys are called to the meeting they all put their shorts back on and head downstairs.
Later on in the meeting Linda introduces to the boys and the parents in attendance the establishment of a group which is tentatively called D.B.A. or "Diaper Boys of America." She puts on a long presentation about the proposed organization's goal to provide a nationwide/worldwide support group for boys who wear diapers, which will also function as an advocacy group whose mission is to promote diapers as an alternative to toilets, including encouraging parents to accept this alternative over toilet training their kids.
The boys are awakened early as they have a long and full day ahead of them. After being treated to a hearty breakfast buffet they board a bus which takes to the CKM corporate headquarters. Here, they are given a tour of the offices and the manufacturing facilities. They are shown everything from the Chris is especially excited as he watches disposable and cloth Thickies diapers being made right before his eyes. Next they are shown the testing facilities for the diapers. The testing facilities use specialized mannequins which simulate peeing and pooping in diapers. This amuses Chris and the other boys. After the tour the boys are taken to the studio where they are put into their diapers and given some other touch-ups to their appearances. Chris appears in several shots taken of him modeling diapers. He is used in sets such as a boy's bedroom, a camp site and in front of the TV playing video games, in which he appears with Tony modeling the disposable version of Thickies. After the boys return to the hotel there is another conference where the boys are told they did a fabulous job on the photo shoot. They were told which magazines they could expect to find their ads printed in. They assure the boys that that they will all make appearances at some time within the next year in the various magazines. They are also given a follow-up meeting on the formation of the D.B.A. club to find out how many boys are interested in doing this, with all 24 boys showing interest in becoming members and 14 wanting to become Club Directors. Chris and Tony relax for the rest of the evening before they fly back to Boise the next day.
After Chris and Tony are picked up at the airport Chris' mom asks Cindy and Lisa to take them into the bathroom to change their diapers. The boys ask if they can change each other instead and Chris' mom lets them, much to the disappointment of Cindy and Lisa, who wanted to diaper Chris after missing him for the past couple of days. When Chris and Tony head to the restroom they are spotted by a kid named Scott who is at the video games, a kid whom both Chris and Tony dislike. Scott approaches Chris and Tony and starts teasing them. As Lisa and Cindy are still close by, they come to the boys' defense. Lisa confronts Scott and backs him into a corner of the game area, using her large size to intimidate Scott into submission. Lisa and Cindy tease Scott by suggesting that he should try to wear diapers, too. When Scott apologizes and tries to escape Lisa and Cindy block him in. As Scott needs to use the bathroom but is unable to get past the girls he ends up wetting his pants. Later, after Chris and Tony go into the bathroom they find Scott in there with his pants off, drying them with the hand dryer. When Chris and Tony leave they are stopped by Scott's mother, who asks if they saw a boy in the restroom who fit Scott's description. She complains about Scott not staying by the video games. Chris then explains that Scott had wet his pants and was in the bathroom drying them off. After leaving the airport they go to Denny's for lunch where Chris and Tony talk about all the things they did over the past couple days. When Chris gets back home his sisters "make up" for the days they didn't get to diaper him by putting him in fourThickies diapers at a time.
