Part 171
Monday, October 4, 1993
Chris returns to school, and since it is raining he is looking forward to gym class since he knows they won't have to play football. As expected, they play basketball in the gymnasium. Chris feels more confident that he can play this game better, but the evil gym coach Phil Brown thinks otherwise, so he makes Chris, Tony and Jay sit on the bleachers. Later on, one of the boys throws a ball at Jay. As Jay attempts to block the swiftly thrown ball while standing, he loses his balance and falls off the bleachers. Jay is badly hurt as he lies on the floor and is in need of immediate medical attention. Chris tells Mr. Brown what had happened, but Mr. Brown refuses to let Chris and Tony help Jay to get to the nurse and refuses to believe that Jay has broken his leg. At this point Chris completely loses his cool and goes off on Mr. Brown with a litany of profanity. Mr. Brown immediately sends Chris to the principal's office, but Chris is more concerned about getting Jay to the nurse's office. As Chris and Tony help Jay get to the nurse Chris decides this is the final straw and he is determined to get Mr. Brown fired once and for all.
In spite of Mr. Brown's warnings, Chris and Tony ignore him as they help get Jay to the nurse's office. The nurse is called out immediately and she takes Jay into one of the "sick rooms. She comes out a moment later to tell Chris and Tony that Jay will need to be taken to the hospital for his injury. She assures Chris and Tony that Jay will be okay but he needs immediate medical attention. She tells Chris and Tony they may return to class. Before Chris and Tony leave the secretary asks Chris and Tony for their hall passes. They explain that they had a serious emergency to tend to and did not take time to receive hall passes. The secretary detains the boys and has them talk to Mr. Swain. Meanwhile, the paramedics show up to carry Jay out to the ambulance for transport to the hospital. Chris and Tony argue with the secretary over the school's policies and Chris uses mildly foul language, but the secretary does not want to hear it. A moment later Chris and Tony find themselves before Mr. Swain again, explaining what had happened. While Mr. Swain is willing to give the boys a reprieve considering the circumstances, he has not let them off the hook as he wants to hear Mr. Brown's side of the story first. He then excuses Chris and Tony. They each return to their separate fifth period classes as this is now the time of day it is. Both Chris and Tony are in their gym clothes and smelly because of their soiled diapers. When Chris goes into Mr. Eastman's class he hopes he will be excused again to go change, but Mr. Eastman tells Chris to stay and that he can take care of his diaper change during the lunch period which is coming up next. After several students complain and make remarks about Chris' odors Mr. Eastman grudgingly writes up a pass for Chris, which he is to present to Mr. Brown. Chris is hesitant to approach Mr. Brown again, but knows he has to follow the school's policies. When he goes into the gym to locate Mr. Brown he is not there. Chris presumes he is talking to Mr. Swain about the incident. Chris meets up with the coaching assistant for this class. When Chris explains that he needs to clean himself up the assistant rudely brushes Chris off and crumples up his hall pass. At this point Chris goes into the locker room and sees Tony already in there getting cleaned up. Tony reports having no such problems with his teacher, who just told him to get cleaned up and come back to class, no passes or anything. Chris and Tony shower off and put clean diapers on. Since they are alone in the locker room they run around in their diapers and have some fun. Chris then decides to go into Mr. Brown's office and snoop. Tony advises Chris against this, but Chris is curious to find anything that he could use to learn more about Mr. Brown's personal life. After looking through several drawers Chris locates a box in an otherwise empty filing cabinet drawer. He looks in the box and discovers dozens of Polaroid photos that Mr. Brown had obviously taken of the diaper boys getting dressed. Some of the pictures appeared to have been taken from previous school years. Chris and Tony are puzzled as to why Mr. Brown would have such pictures. Chris seizes the pictures in spite of Tony warning Chris that he may get in trouble for taking them. Chris then explains that he plans to use the pictures as a way to blackmail Mr. Brown should he attempt any more antics.
Throughout the lunch period Chris, Tony, Luke, Bryce and Jimmy all engage in a lengthy, in-depth discussion about Mr. Brown. They talk about his poor handling of Jay's situation and they also have a mild debate about the photographs Mr. Brown had allegedly taken of the boys in their diapers while in the locker room. There was some debate even as to whether or not it could be proven that Mr. Brown was the person who had taken the photos. The biggest question was why the pictures were taken. Chris exchanges coded messages with Megan during his Life Science class and tells Megan about what happened that day. In Chris' last class of the day, his art class, he tells Angela all about what had happened. By this time it is known throughout the entire school that someone had told off Mr. Brown, though not everyone knew that it was Chris. There were several people who had the wrong impression of what happened as the word got around and passed through several channels. Once Chris was home he got diapered into his cloth diapers and went to babysit the twins. When the twin's mother Sandy came home she invited Chris to stay for dinner, but Chris had to decline and defer this invitation to another night since he had planned to visit Jay in the hospital. Later that evening, while having dinner, Chris talked about his day. In spite of the circumstances Chris was still scolded for his talking back to Mr. Brown. Chris just brushes it off and goes about his business. When the phone rings and Chris picks it up, hoping the call is from Jay or his mom, only to find out that the caller is a telemarketer. Chris decides to have some fun with the pesky sales caller and eventually gets her to hang up in disgust after Chris tells her about his need for diapers. A few minutes later the phone rings again. This time it is Tony who asks Chris if he can join him and Jay's mom to go to the hospital. Chris' dad says no, but then Chris' mom overrides and allows Chris to go as long as he works on his homework right away when he gets home. As Chris has on his super thick cloth diapers and has no clean sweatpants to wear over them Chris decides to go to the hospital in just his diapers. As Chris gets in Jay's mom's car to ride to the hospital Jays sisters Lori and Jolene are quite amused at the sight of Chris diapers. On the way to the hospital they talk about Jay's use of underpants for diapers and, of course, his condition and how long it will take for Jay to heal up from the broken leg.
Chris and Tony go into the hospital with Jay's mom and his sisters. While they are in the lobby Chris' fully exposed diapers draw a lot of attention from the other people in there. They ride up the elevator and go to Jay's hospital room. While they are in there Jay shows everyone the diaper he has on, pointing out that it's a real diaper and not the multiple underpants Jay usually wears for diapers. During the visit Jay calls the nurse and receives a much-needed diaper change. After the lady Chris believes is the nurse leaves the "real" nurse shows up. She sees Chris in just his diapers (having taken his jacket off) and insists that he cover himself up and has him wear a hospital gown. Once she leaves Chris takes off the gown and leaves it in the room. When the visit is over Chris leaves the room in just his diapers and has another run-in with the nurse. She threatens to call security on Chris. Chris is going to have none of this so he diaper moons the nurse and farts while he is bent over, much to the embarrassment of Jay's sisters Lori and Jolene. At this point the leave the hospital and head back to take Chris and Tony each back home.
After school Chris goes to Cody's and Jordan's house and works on his homework while the twins play. Chris stays for dinner as Sue had invited him. While Chris is there in the evening he selects the photos he wishes to use for having T-shirts made with the photos of Cody and Jordan for their upcoming birthday. During the dinner Chris enjoys a spread of spaghetti, garlic bread and salad. Chris asks Sue's husband Larry how he got into diapers and tells Chris his story. Afterwards, Larry puts Chris' bike into the back of his pickup and runs Chris home.
Chris spends most of his third period class talking to the school psychologist, Dr. Austin. These sessions are to occur each Wednesday. Most of Dr. Austin's questions concern Chris' anger management and how his diaper fetish might contribute to his constant defending himself from students and other people who are not comfortable around Chris and his diapers. Chris openly discusses how much he enjoys his diapers (he even removes his pants and sits before Dr. Austin in just his diapers). Dr. Austin takes notes of Chris' odd and unusual behavior. After the 30-minute session ends Chris is sent back to class. He is also given a series of questionnaires to fill out and have ready by the following week. For the remainder of Chris' day things go well for him. In P.E. class he plays soccer and helps the team win. He does face some harassment from Hugh, though. He goes through his remaining classes without incident. In his Life Science class Megan gives him a videotape and tells Chris not to let anyone know he has the tape and that he is to watch it alone when he gets home. In art class Chris draws a picture of himself in his diapers sitting with Cindy, complying with the guidelines of the day's assignment. Chris is then overjoyed when he gets to draw the same pose of him and Cindy, but from behind, giving Chris a chance to show off in a drawing how thick his diapers are on his butt and how his diapers compare to how Cindy's butt looks in her blue jeans.
When Chris goes to school the next day he meets up with the other boys at the mid-morning break and they talk to Jay about his stay in the hospital. After lunch Chris and Megan exchange pseudo-encrypted notes during the dull lecture, only for Ms. Watson to catch them in the act. She picks up the note they had been passing back and forth and starts to read it aloud in class after determining how it is "coded". At this point Ms. Watson separates Chris and Megan and has another girl named Melanie and Megan swap seats. Melanie protests this move since she does not want to sit next to Chris and smell his dirty diapers, but Ms. Watson insists. Chris' hates Melanie, too and thinks she is ugly. Chris deliberately offends her by farting and having a messy bowel movement in his diapers and making sure Melanie hears and smells the odors. After Melanie complains Chris is excused so that he can go get his diaper changed.
When Chris gets the video of himself in his diapers ready for the boys to watch they come running out of their bedroom. In their haste and their excitement, one of the boys knocks a plant over and spills dirt on the floor. Chris then locates a small hand vacuum and cleans up the mess. Afterwards he plays with the boys, using the vacuum's suction to pull on the boys' plastic pants. After Chris puts the vacuum away and gets ready to show the video the doorbell rings. The boys run to their room while Chris, in just his diapers, answers the door. Two high school girls are selling chocolate bars for their school fundraiser. The girls are surprised to see Chris in diapers and try to ignore this and go about their business as usual, but after Chris decides to have some fun with the girls and talk about his diapers to them the girls decide to leave. The boys come back out from their room and ask who was at the door. When Chris explains that it was a couple girls selling chocolate bars the boys wish that he had bought some. Since Chris has no money he hopes this keeps the boys from asking, but they insist and also tell Chris that his mother keeps a jar of change above the washing machine. Chris gives in and counts out a dollar in change, promising to pay it back to Sue, the boys' mother. Chris then runs down the street to catch up to one of the girls. She tells Chris to go away but after he shows her that he has money and wants to buy a chocolate bar she gives him one and takes his money, which is all small change. As Chris heads back to Cody's and Jordan's house he sees the neighbor lady Elaine and her daughter Miranda raking leaves out front. Miranda asks if she can join Chris and play with Cody and Jordan and her mother agrees, saying she will be by shortly to get Amanda. While Amanda is there she watches Chris' diaper video with the boys. The video was taken two summers ago when Chris was ten years old. Cindy had just turned twelve and the video was for her birthday along with their father's birthday which are close together. The twin boys and Miranda are all amused by seeing a younger Chris in super thick diapers. They also get to watch a diaper-changing scene where Lisa is cleaning up Chris' butt and then diapering him. When Miranda asks Chris to stop the video so she can use the bathroom the boys put on an act, saying they are not used to stopping videos for using the bathroom since they all wear diapers. A few minutes later Miranda's mom picks her up and then Sue returns home. Chris tells Sue that he used some money from the jar to buy a chocolate bar for the boys. Chris offers to repay it but Sue tells him not to worry about it.
When Jay has a temper tantrum over the bullies harassing them and trying to knock Jay off his feet Chris tells Jay that kids like Chuck and Steve usually wind up in prison. This segues into a conversation where Jay mentions he had found out his dad was in prison. Jay doesn't want to say much about this and he is vague as he explains that his mom has been away from home during the day and working at night. The leaves Chris and the other boys puzzled as the bell rings and the boys have to diverge to get to their next classes.
