Editing/Corrections Remarks Added to Stories
In my continuing quest to encourage submitters to adhere to practicing good
writing habits, I am now adding my remarks at the end of each story to address
the areas in which I found it to be necessary to make corrections. These remarks
are not intended to criticize writers and will not be written in such a manner as
to insult the writer's abilities or to brutally point out the writer's flaws,
but rather, such comments are intended to help both active and prospective writers
to understand what I look for and what kinds of problems I most often deal with.
This system will allow me to address these specific areas as they occur.
These remarks appear in an orange box at the end of the story and before the Ratings form,
shown as follows:

| (none, very low, low, low-moderate, moderate, moderate-high, very high, extreme)

- Summary of writing quality shown on first line.
- List of significant errors appears below.
- Advice and tips may also be listed.

The "editing level" is a more or less arbitrary assessment of how much overall time and effort was spent on correcting errors. I don't expect to post very many stories that rate "extreme" as such a story would likely be too much of a mess to bother fixing.
