Deeker's Message of the Week

CAUTION! Be aware that any personally identifiable information such as real names, telephone numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses and possibly even general physical locations can be located via search engines, so USE DISCRETION before signing! Minors, especially those under the age of 13 years, are STRONGLY advised to use discretion and caution.

This advisory comes in response to receiving two requests this past week for guestbook entry removals, one of whom stated he even lost his job as a result of someone finding his name posted there. I have received such requests periodically and they have been honored accordingly, but as they seem to be increasing in frequency, a move to issue a prominent warning was prompted.

This advisory is applicable to all areas of the web site where personal information may be revealed.

All materials received up through the preceding Saturday night will be posted. Any materials received Sunday morning and later will be posted the following Sunday. This includes stories, diaper sighting reports and survey responses. QOTW responses collected on Sunday will be posted up until the time at which the update is posted and a new question is in place.

If your story is due to go into discontinued status (More than 90 days), but an update is received for it on Sunday, its "in progress" status() will be retained through the following week. Any story due to be listed in the Discontinued Stories section will also be retained.

For this week, however, I will "grandfather" in any stories received on Sunday, but hereafter, any stories not submitted by Saturday night (U.S./western hemisphere time zones) will be posted the following week.
