A New Look... Again

You will have likely noticed that the layout on the site has changed a little. After looking at other web sites and noting how they are laid out I decided that I might as well do the same thing to mine and give it an appearance that conforms to the standard design used on many other web sites. The biggest changes I have made are that there is more "white space" (actually blue) in the margins. This makes for easier readibility, and several people told me that they would prefer to see this change made to the site. While most of the main pages have been updated to reflect these changes, not all pages have yet been upgraded to conform to the new design. The older MOTW's and QOTW's, for example, still show the old full-screen-spanning layout, as do the older Diaper Sighting Report pages and the older Survey Indexes. The individual survey responses (which themselves will undergo some changes soon) and the stories are not currently set to show these changes. They will be implemented over the coming weeks as my time allows (gotta go to work and pay the bills, after all).

Another common design standard I see used is having the main sections of a web site listed vertically in the left column, so I have added this to all the main pages, along with the familiar "Diaper Boy" icon, and the name of the site in the upper left corner.

I hope everyone will like these new changes and will find them easier to use and make the site easier to follow.
