Deeker's Message of the Week

Once again I must apologize to everyone for not getting the site updated as soon as I usually do. The delay was due to several technical matters concerning the site. Several upgrades were done to correct the problems this site has had with outages in the past few weeks. During this time I was not able to upload new files to the site.

Because of this transition, I also do not have any survey responses, sighting reports or any stories which were submitted to me after Thursday, May 30th at approximately 7:30 PM eastern time. While I have since been able to retrieve a few responses received since that time, it is not certain as of this writing whether or not any survey responses or stories submitted after the previously mentioned time will be retrieved. For those that I do receive, I will post them with next week's update. Just to be certain, however, you may wish to re-take the survey if you took it, but do not see it posted. I apologize for this, and it is something I was not prepared to inform visitors about prior to the upgrades; otherwise I would have taken the survey forms offline during this time.

If you are more technically proficient and know how to retrieve files from your browser's cache, it is possible that you may have a copy of your responses on your hard drive. Try searching for the word "survey" to see if something like this comes up. The file will have a series of six-digit numbers to the left, with your responses to the right. This is the page that comes up listing your responses after taking the survey. If you are able to retrieve this file, please go ahead and send it to me.

Because of this matter, I do not have any download stats on last week's new and updated stories. I am hoping that with the new hardware and software in place there should be some numbers available for me to post next week.
