Before that, I preferred to wear diapers instead of using the toilet because I could just go potty in my diapers instead of interrupting my play time to go to the toilet. I also wanted to stay in diapers when my little sister (~4 years younger) was born because she got more attention during her diaper changes and that made me jealous.

As a boy, however, my poops were usually alot firmer and much less stinky, and it was all the time I had to waste on the potty taking a poop that really made me want to stay in diapers. It was fun to be able to just squeeze out a deuce in my diaper and keep on doing whatever I was doing, and not worry about cleaning up until it got too smelly getting smashed around my butt.

Soren	43	Being a diaper kid gave me a lot of attention not only from my parents but from all who were taking care of me. Like a baby i needed help to have my diapers changed. I was also often treated like a small kid because i was in diapers and most people saw me as much younger than i was. In some respects i liked that extra attention. Futhermore I was allowed to continue playing with toys for small kids much longer than other boys - which i liked very much. As a child in diapers I was even given toys for 3-6 years old kids at my 13 years birthday - and i was very happy for these gift!
ItsJustMe	37	They make me feel dependent as an adult because if I don't wear them, I'll wind up wetting my pants or bed instead. The only time they make me feel babyish is when I choose to feel that way, and I'll wear one of my cloth diapers with that kind of theme to reinforce those feelings. Those are also the times I'll poop in my diaper by choice. I don't consider myself an AB, even at those times. As a boy, they made me feel babyish since I wanted to be in them because my little sister still was. I wasn't dependent on them, but rather chose to wear them because they got me extra attention, like she did when she got changed, even though I was made to change myself once I had the dexterity to do so if I wanted to stay diapered. I've never felt subordinate due to diapers because they were either my choice (as a boy) or a necessity (as an incontinent adult).
