My parents tryed to hold off as long as they could to move me to depends as my younger brothers were also bed wetters and it was easier on them just to have to get one brand/size of diapers
wetbymorning	36	I was given toddler sized Shop Rite brand diapers to tuck into my underpants to soak up my nightly wetting habit. I would wake up soaked each morning and have to peel myself off the sticky wet sheets. At first the diapers were flat and then moved to contoured, like pampers.
		I wore Pampers for bedwetting, actually it was wearing Pampers that started my bedwetting or at least running out of Pampers. I was 8 years old I'd been secretly wearing/wetting diapers in bed for over 6 months when I ran out. With no diapers to wear to bed it didn't take long for my mother to discover that I was wetting the bed. After a week and a half of wet sheets every night my parents decided to put me back in diapers.

One night that I spent with my cousins, they had the same thing in pastel colors, and wore 2. That night I also wore 2 pair of colored cloth training pants with a pair of Gerber Plastic Pants. Occasionally, when traveling Mom would buy disposable diapes so that we didn't have to worry about cleanup and laundering of the cloth. I don't remember the brand, but they were just plain disposable diapers and I wore them without plastic pants.
Soren	42	For bedwetting i was usually wearing cloth diapers and plastic diaper pants. Before i was going to bed my mom usually diapered me in double cloth diapers so my diaper was not going to leak when i was sleeping. I was a heavy wetter during the nights as a boy. My night diapers were going very high - up up to the top of my stomach - and they were very bulky. My plastic pants were either snap-on baby pants or the pull-on baby pants. Most of them were white although i had some coloured and patterned.

Roger	--	The diapers were Curity flat diapers, mom folded two of them together and I was double diapered to make sure there were no leaks. The plastic pants were either Gerber Toddler or Woolworths Pata Cake Toddler Large. The plastic pants were white. Each night at bedtime mo would call me to my room and she would have the diapers folded and ready to go on, the plastic pants were at the foot of my bed. I would climb up on the bed and lay down on the diapers, baby powder was put on, the diapers pinned, Then the plastic pants were pulled on. Mom wanted to be sure that the plastic pants completely covered the diapers so there would be no leaks. In the winter months I wore pajamas, in the warmer month I mostly just wore the diapers and plastic pants. Everyone in the house knew I wore them so it was no big deal, I just wore them.

I could run around my house all day up to the day i left at 18 in just a diaper and no one thought any different of it. but we tried to be modest when company was around as they are not use to seeing older boys in diapers. 		Once my parents had returned me to diapers I was so happy that I could wear them without having to hide them or sneak around in order to use them that I decided that I should show them off so I wore pajama tops that wouldn't even cover up the top third of my diaper leaving the rest of it completely visible. Of course this had the added benefit of having my diaper visible so mom could see when I had wet myself. After a couple of months of being back in diapers one of my aunts visited and made me some onesies.

		In the winter mom insisted that I wear pajamas so I wouldn't get cold. In the summer she let me decide on wearing them which I usually did not. The diapers and plastic pants were usually put on just before I got into bed anyways so the family were the only ones who saw me wearing them.

How did you handle pooping when you were diapered for bedwetting? Explain why you used your diapers and/or used the toilet:

Jonny	13	The bathroom was locked and I got spanked and embarrassed for taking the diapers off or my sister wanted me to get in trouble so she made me. I didn't handle it.
abdl_mark	28	During the younger years i would try to get to the restroom because my mom would get mad if she had to change a poopy diaper because she knew i could hold it. Around 12 or so when my mom had me start taking care of my own diaper needs it all depended on how i felt. I didnt like cleaning up the mess much but if i was feeling lazy and didnt want to get out of bed i would just mess myself and clean up in the shower in the morning
		Once I was diapered for bed I was told that the toilets were off limits so it didn't take me too long to figure out that if I held my poop and/or my pee that I'd have to use my diaper. If I was in bed I was expected to wake up wet frequently I'd wake up messy too. Then my parents started to diaper me up to 2 hours before I had to go to bed, soon it got to the point that I'd use my diaper ar least once every night before it was even bed time. For a while after I stopped wetting the bed I would deliberately wet my diaper every morning.

Soren	42	Sometimes i just woked up in the morning with poop in my diapers. However it did also happen that i stood up early in the morning to play and then suddenly i felt the urge to poop. Sometimes i could not hold it and it came in my diapers as a real accident. Sometimes i decided to poop in my diapers because they were wet anyway and i did not want to disturb my mom. In both situations i ended up having a very wet and messy diaper - and i was not exactly smelling of roses when mom came in my room to change me!

Jeff	28	Every now and then I would need to poop with the diaper on. The rule was I could not take off my diaper for any reason, even to poop, because if I was too immature to keep my bed dry and needed diapers, how could I be mature enough to take it off and put it back on? So, I would try and try to hold it in until my stepmom or older sister would take my diaper off but usually I would just soil my diaper.

Jeff	28	Like a baby. They would tease me all of the time about wearing baby diapers and waking up with a wet diaper. They were always trying to get my stepmom to put a diaper on me even during the day, especially when we were going on a car ride that would last one hour or more. The sad thing is, she would almost always end up listening to them and I would be diapered during the day even though I rarely had daytime accidents.
		Mom kept my sister pretty much under control, but there were times when she would tease me about wearing diapers. She would say things like "Oh I see you've got your diapers and rubber pants on." or "Here comes the rubber pants kid" and "Babies wear dipers and rubber pants".

john	15	my bed has rubber sheets under the regular sheets and i am kept in diapers of course.my sisters and their friends think it is cute and love to change my diapers.my diapers rarely leaks so i guess they work well unless the poop is diarea and it is wet then it gets on the sheets or spreads around the inside of my jammies. i wet and poop while i am asleep every night and i do not wake up.my mommy and sisters prefer to keep me in diapers because a diaper holds the mess and it is easier to change my diaper and wipe my bottom for me, than to change and wash the bedding on my bed.

Soren	42	I always had a rubber sheet in my bed to protect my matress - just in case my diapers leaked. Having a rubber sheet in the bed is not so nice as it can be very cold - even if there is a normal sheet above it. I was diapered on a changing table in my parents bedroom. The changing table had a plastic covered matress on the top - just like a changing table for small kids.

		An alarm was tried a couple of times and each time it was stopped I would start wetting the bed again. The doctor could find no reason for my bedwetting. After talking it over mom and dad decided on diapers and plastic pants.

I continued to have infrequent bedwetting episodes through high school (like four times a year or so), so I stopped wearing diapers to bed at age 12. Mostly. Every once in a while I borrowed my brother's diapers, but I don't think he knew that. I was actually kind of disappointed when I no longer needed to wear diapers, but it didn't occur to me to wet on purpose to keep them.

DiaperDon	40	I wet the bed until I was 10 or 11. By that age, my parents were worried what it would do to me as I got old enough to be invited for sleep-overs without parents, and scout camping trips. They tried several things, including avoiding evening liquids, spankings, humiliating trips to the urologist, surgery to increase bladder capacity, and alarms. I would be half awake when the alarm went off, and would simply disconnect it and go back to sleep. I spent about 2 months sleeping on the floor of the laundry room upstairs so that my parents could hear the alarm and make sure I got up.
Soren	42	I stopped wetting the bed when i was 17. Actually my decision to become dry was taken when i was 14 and after some hard months i stopped having daytime accidents. However it took 3 years more before i reached my goal to stop using diapers completely. When i stopped using diapers i was so happy. It may sound funny but i was actually proud of myself and the fact that i was now able to sleep in my normal underpants. Finally i was no longer a diaper kid - but a big boy in underpants!
Jeff	28	I was 13, almost 14 when I quit wetting the bed. After staying dry for one month straight, my stepmom decided I didn't need diapers anymore. I was overjoyed but my sisters weren't. They decided to try and get me back into diapers so they started coming into my room after I would fall asleep and put my hand in warm water. Unfortunately for me, their plan worked and I began wetting the bed again so my stepmom put me back in diapers for about 2 or 3 months. Finally, my sisters must have given up because I stopped wetting my diapers so I got to quit wearing them again.

		Around the age of 11 I started to have some dry nights and it just kept on being more regular that I would wake up dry. Finally after about a month of dry beds mom told me I didn't have to wear them anymore.

		3 weeks. Since I no longer needed diapers my mother threw out the remainders of the box of Pampers that had been in my room. I came home and saw 'my' diapers sitting by the trash cans and I was upset that mom was throwing out 'my' things so I brought the box back up to my room. I began wearing the diapers after school and decided to wear them all day Saturday. It seemed that mom had noticed that the diapers had disappeared from the garbage and while I was wearing a diaper under my jeans that I had wet on purpose mom called me over to her just as I was about to go to my room and change into a fresh diaper. Mom asked me if I knew what had happened to the box of diapers that was in the trash, I lied and said I had no idea. She told me that I was going shopping with her and to go grab my shoes. I went up to my room and found the box of Pampers sitting on my bed instead of in the closet where I had left them and when I turned around mom was standing in my doorway saying that I had said that I didn't know what happened to them and that she was going to spank me for lying to her I started wetting myself when she said thar. She sat down on my bed and told me to pull down my pants and get across her lap (by then my diaper was leaking in my pants, when I refused she grabbed me and pulled my pants down around my ankles exposing my wet diaper. She yelled at me for not only lying to her but because not only was I wearing a diaper but that I had peed in it during the day. After my spanking mom changed me and put me in a fresh diaper, saying that if I wanted to wear diapers like a baby then she was going to make sure that I got what I wanted. She made me go to the store with her with nothing on to cover my diaper and while at the store mom bought another 2 boxes of Pampers saying that since I wanted to wear diapers so badly that she'd better make sure that she had a supply for home and the other place I spent most of my time -- school and that I was going to wear diapers 24/7 until the end of the school year (which was still 4 months away) the shock caused me to empty my bowels and bladder right there in the middle of the store. All the next week I was sent to school in just my diapers and shirt. After the school year ended mom enrolled me in daycare for the summer where I was treated like a baby every day. By the end of the summer I was completely diaper dependent. I was removed from school and spent the entire year in daycare and diapers. During the summer mom started to try to toilet train me but I didn't want to stop using my diapers. In the end it took her 9 months and the promise that from Friday after school until Monday morning that I would be put back in Pampers, most Fridays I'd wet my pants in anticipation by the time I got home.

I was surprised that I wasn't very upset about this, but found myself excited that I would have a reason to wear diapers to bed again. I first started with adult disposible diapers, but soon longed for my pin-on cloth diapers with gerber plastic pants. After much searching, came across VI Products (so sad they are out of business), and slowly built up my supply.

Jared	36	Tried setting my watch alarm to wake up to pee. This NEVER worked. Slept right through the alarm and wet anyway. Tried bladder stretching exercises, but these only resulted in wet pants when trying to hold it longer. Tried restricting fluids, and this only made my diapers smell bad in the morning.
