Deeker	37	I don't know the real reasons, but over the years I have considered several possibilities, the best being he simply enjoyed wearing his underwear in multiples like diapers and was not the least bit ashamed to let others see that he did this. He was mentally challenged and was enrolled in special ed classes. He may have had some bowel control issues. It is also possible his parents may have sent him to school like this for punishment. The worst possible case I can think of is that he did this as a result of sexual abuse, either by soiling himself to make his body less attractive to someone, or to make his body less accessible. I would really like to think that this was not the case, of course. Perhaps someone with more expertise in dealing with childhood sexual abuse can chime in with his or her insight.

Deeker	37	He was very open about letting others see him putting on pair after pair after pair of underwear, I had no idea how many pairs he had on, but it looked like a couple dozen at least (probably more). It was thick, that's for sure. He had a mixture of various underwear brands including Fruit of the Loom (two blue stripes), Hanes (black-red-black), and K-Mart's house brand (solid bold red or black stripe down the center). None of them were double-seated pairs as far as I could tell as these had pretty much disappeared by the early 1980s when this all took place. By the time the rest of us were dressed and waiting for the bell to ring (we couldn't leave the locker room until the bell rang) he was still putting on his underwear. I never did see how many pairs he ended up having on before finally putting his pants on. In addition, he would wear larger sized pairs to fit over the smaller ones underneath, so they'd go up really high on his stomach and his back. He would also wear some pairs backwards, which seemed to serve the dual purpose of adding extra layers in the rear from the fly fronts ("backs" in this case) and that he could pull the seats all the way up to his chest in the front. Since he smelled of poop and his innermost pairs were always brown stained it was obvious that he did frequently poop in his underwear as if they were diapers (I don't see how he could have gotten them all off). I didn't really consider at the time how he would have gotten all his underwear down to pee or if he also peed in his underwear. He also seemed to have only one pair of pants, which was large enough to fit over his underwear and would not have fit him otherwise. On an unrelated note, he also seemed to have an alter ego centered around He-Man, as in He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, which at the time was a popular cartoon. He would sometimes act out the role and pretend this was who he was.

Charlie	44	I only see my cousin once every few years. When I was in my 20's he would still talk to me aobut our secret and how much fun we had. He visited me in my apartment at university and brought a diaper and aasked if he could wear it. I said yes and put the one diaper I still had on as well. We laughed and talked about how we both still felt good in our diapers but the secret was still ours.
