List the stores you go to for diapers and why:

NameAgeAnswer
  Walmart
jimmy  13boots
Bill  58Walmart, Kmart, Publix, CVS - all have a good selection, usually in the size and style I need, and all of these stores have sales from time to time.
DiaperDon  37Local supermarket - good inexpensive diapers
Warehouse club - large quantities for good price
diaperedteen  23Walgreen's, because IMHO they have a good, cheap, quality, and crinkly alternative to Depends when I am out of higher quality diapers.
Medical supply stores, for their wide selection of diapers.
craig  8Wal-greens it is close to were I live
Matt  11We usually go to Rite-aid for them since it's right down the street from our house, and sometimes if we're already out we'll go to walgreens if its close by.
Joe  25Tesco's as there own brand of XL Nappies fit me
sam ky  15rite-aid grogans
Jimbo  59I used to go to a local department store called Orr's and bought Curity diapers.Only because no one else carried cloth diapers.
bebe huey  35Wal Mart, only place that sells diapers anymore around here, all others went to disposable underwear, very leaky
Bal  19Any store with a self-check out.
Stephen  55Babies R Us; They have a good selection of cloth diapers.
thickndry  57Supermarket, drug store
Toadboy  7www.magicmedical.com- best price.
Byron, Timothy, Kevin, and D.J. (12-16 yr)  14A diaper supply company, because the carry the Diaper materials needed to make our diapers. They are hand made by our Great Aunt, who is now retired from running a Diaper Supply and Child wear store.
Online or Medical Supply store. Most Drug stores do not carry Attends.
matthew  22i usually go to walgreens
George  8We usually go to Wal-mart because it's closest, and they usually have the kind of diapers that fit me. Sometimes we go to drugstores like
  Rite-aid and Wal-greens if we're out and they're close.
List the stores you will never go to or will ever go back to again and why:

NameAgeAnswer
jimmy  13none
Bill  58None known
DiaperDon  37Walgreens - poor quality diapers
diaperedteen  23One Walgreen's on the strip in Las Vegas, simply because they only carry "pull-up" style diapers...they don't even offer diaper style diapers.
craig  8Wal-mart Osco and Target
sam ky  15krogers there prodcks suck
thickndry  57Medical supply store. I asked for plastic pants, and they told me a disposable diaper didn't need one, but I wanted one anyway. They also didn't take credit cards, only money or personal checks.
Toadboy  7HDIS- Prices are too high.
George  8I don't like going to Target for them because the one near here has some snobby workers.
If another person buys your diapers, who is he/she and which stores does he/she go to? Why does he or she go to these stores? Which ones does he or she avoid and why?

NameAgeAnswer
Wes S.  16Mom-listed above.
Bill  58I buy my own diapers.
soaker  62My wife buys them when ever I am in need of them or they are on sale.
diaperedteen  23I wish that somebody bought my diapers.
craig  8Mom Jewel/Osco to buy the foodand other things
Matt  11My mom buys them at rite-aid and walgreens.
sam ky  15my mom will go to rite-aid
Jimbo  59I buy my own on line now.
Toadboy  7One time I had my home care nurse buy me diapers. He went to a local supermarket to get them. I gave him the money and he went and got them.
Byron, Timothy, Kevin, and D.J. (12-16 yr)  14Usually our Great Aunt, or parents, as they need to order the type and amount of cloth to make our diapers.
George  8My mom usually buys them for me, although I'm normally with her. She normally goes to Wal-mart because it's close, and she doesn't like
going to Target because the one near here has snobby workers.
How do you mask your diaper purchase? Do you buy other things with them? Do you keep the diapers hidden in the cart prior to purchase? Do you make up reasons for buying them in case you are asked?

NameAgeAnswer
Wes S.  16we get them during grocery shopping or when we go fo rother things.
jimmy  13i sat they are for my little brother
Bill  58I don't usually mask my purchase. I may buy some other things with them, but because I need them, not to mask my diapers.
DiaperDon  37I usually put other things in the cart with them, so they will be mixed in and not noticed.
diaperedteen  23I do buy other things with them when I am in close proximity to my home. When I am travelling, however, I proudly walk up to the cash register with diapers in hand for everybody to see. I have NEVER been asked why I am buying them, but if somebody did ask, I would tell them that they were for me.
craig  8no I don't mask them
Matt  11I don't usually hide them.
sam ky  15nope
bebe huey  35when doing major shopping, usually last item i pick up before the register
Bal  19Do them really quick, put them in the bag, buy soda and chips so I just look like a typical teenager probably buying things for his grandpa or something and decided to get some snacks.
Stephen  55Nothing to hide because nobody cares if you're buying diapers or dog food.
thickndry  57I buy other things, but it really doesn't matter. No one ever asked me why I was buying diapers or for whom.

George  8My mom usually doesn't hide them, although sometimes I might put something over them.

At the next womens get to geather I was the main conversation. My wife let me know in front of the group when I got home from a movie in a Very wet diaper. jimmy  13they asked me how old he is as i have brought lots of different ages
Bill  58So far, there have been no embarrassing incidents when I have bought diapers. I guess it's because I go to stores that carry a big stock and have many customers who buy diapers.
soaker  62The clerk felt I should be wearing a larger diaper and said for all to hear " there are no refunds on diapers"

thickndry  57There was a time when I thought they were on sale, and they weren't and there was a long line, and I paid by credit card, and that made the wait longer. There was another time when I was using a coupon and it would not ring up, and the cashier had to call manager and the line was getting longer and longer.
George  8Once, a clerk came up to us, and my mom asked her if she had any youth-sized diapers, and the clerk said yes and asked my mom if they

George  8One time we ran into my teacher while we were buying them. I knew she could see them, and she mentioned them once.
Decribe your strategies for avoiding being seen by someone you know when you buy diapers:

NameAgeAnswer
Bill  58I admit I "eyeball" the store to make sure there is no one I know there. I generally don't go to stores that are right near my neighborhood, although there have been times I have done it.
DiaperDon  37Do any other shopping in the store first. Put the diapers under other items in the cart, and then hurry to checkout.
diaperedteen  23Go at times when stores are less busy. i.e. early in the morning, or late at night. Never during lunch, or during the evening rush. Try to go to a store as far away as possible. Also, reduce your time in the store...get in, and get out. The longer that you are in the store, the greater the chance that somebody could see you.
Joe  25I go to a store that is three to four miles away from my house
sam ky  15get in and out
Bal  19Survey the store to know when it's least populated. Shop very late, maybe 11 pm to 2 am.
thickndry  57Buy through the internet and have them delivered to work address. Then bring home and wait until wife isn't around to bring them into house.

Stephen  55For me, diapers are just thick underwear. As a child I remember thinking that only babies wore diapers. As an adolescent I thought that only kids who were bad and being punished wore diapers. As an adult I know that only people who need diapers (for whatever reason) wear diapers.
