My pants were always ones my mom picked up from places like Goodwill. They were okay in most categories, except for fashion. I cared nothing for that. They were always a simply pair of jeans that were able to cover my jeans, and my mom always bought them with some room to grow in.

My mom mentioned using the potty to my brother and I a few times when we were three, but we always told her we didn't want to do it. She never forced it on us, and we just remained in diapers. She use to babysit when she was a teenager and she saw that boys were often times harder to train, so she didn't want to put the stress on anyone.

Shorts are okay to wear because it still covers your underwear, and boys can wear shorts as if they were pants, and are encouraged to when they can't wear just diapers because shorts tend to show the diapers slightly more. She does wear shorts, but usually not to school, and only in hot weather.

She doesn't care. It's okay to wear white underwear as long as it's not solid white (like if it has prints on it it's okay, because diapers usually don't have prints). White shirts are okay, too, because sometimes you can't avoid it like if you have to wear a uniform to school, and also because you don't wear shirts on your butt.

Usually a diaper change from my sister takes about five to ten minutes, depending on if we're rushed or anything like that. She'll remove my plastic pants and set them in the special pail for them, and then she'll un-tape my diaper and slide it out from under me. Usually she'll hold a thick washcloth over my private in case I pee during the change, and she'll work on wiping my wiener and balls with a wet wipe, taking very good care not to miss a spot. She uses a wet washcloth to wipe off the poop from my butt until most of it's clean, then uses wipes for the rest of the job. She takes out a clean diaper from the pack and rubs a lot of baby powder and oil on my crotch area. She usually uses extra because I am very prone to getting rashes, and also because it smells good. Finally, she unfolds the clean diaper and slides it under me, then tapes it up nice and snug and puts my plastic pants on, and I'm good to go!

Details/comments: Other than my brother, I didn't know anybody else that did. My elementary school was small and only had about 300 kids, so it wasn't likely too many others wore there. I've seen some people coming out of the 'changing room' at middle school but I haven't talked to them yet, so I technically don't know them.

I was never toilet trained and technically now I need them., Me and only me, for the most part. There was one time in about second grade where I got hurt and had to get changed by the nurse because I had trouble working around my broken leg, but other than that no one else has done it.

There was one time in fourth or fifth grade where I was in a hurry and forgot to lock the door behind me, and a teacher with a boy that had had an accident walked in on me. I've also sometimes accidentally taken a bit too long, and peed on the floor, which is embarrassing regardless of if anyone hears/sees it or not�

What other embarrassing, awkward, difficult or otherwise uncomfortable situations have you dealt with in school because of wearing diapers?

It's treated like I'm a normal student. I just ask if I can go to the restroom, and my teachers know what I really mean.

They often came up and tried to pants me, but I often wore overalls with a t-shirt over them, so it never worked. They also liked to try to shove me back on my butt, or steal diapers from my backpack so that I can't change, which sometimes makes me wonder�

Nothing too serious. Mostly gossiping and other girl stuff.

I just ignore it. The only reason they do that in the first place is to try to get a reaction from me, but they won't. I'm happy with the way I am, and I can't help it if others disagree with my ways and my needs. That's their problem.

I'm exempt from having to take gym class.

How do your teachers react to you wearing diapers? What have been the best and worst reactions from teachers?

A lot of them find it weird at first, but they understand and some feel sorry (they don't know the 'real' reason I wear them---they think I just have control issues). There was one substitute teacher that sent me to the principal's office for pooping in my diaper (she probably didn't know I wore them, and instead thought I was being defiant or finding an excuse to get out of class).
