Describe the details of what you remember when you first came to realize that there were more kids than younger than you who were no longer wearing diapers. Were these kids boys or girls and who were they? How did you feel upon realizing that you were in diapers and they weren't?

chris	16	I remember that i was watching all the kids age 3 to 12 playing with various toys and i noticed some of the younger boys and girls had regular underwear then with my sister toilet trained at two months before her second B- day i felt i was the only boy in my town in diapers.
Nicholas	12	I the daycare where i went until i was six i had to stay in the group of little kids cause i was still in diapers. All my friends and even kids much younger than i was moving to the group of the bigger kids because they were out of diapers. I didnt like that. In the daycare were i go now i am the oldest and although i am in diapers i am in the group of older kids.
Bob Barker	17	I was finally day-trained when I was 5, so I saw a few people (mostly neighbor kids and people at daycare/school without diapers. But I bedwet and bedpooped until I was 14, and so wore diapers at night that entire time. Many people, mostly boys (neighbors, brothers, cousins, friends, friends family, etc) saw me in them and asked questions, etc. But many of them were diapered at night too, so I didn't get teased.

	13	when i get in trouble i am forced to wear nothin but dipers for a month even at school and in public i was only changed every 48 hours i was forced to pee + poo in them. i had a locking belt + suspenders on at all times. when i was punished i was stripped of my clothes an was handcuffed to a chair in the liveing room naked. i am treeted likea baby during punishment. when changed every 48 hours my mom gives me a long bath in the sink. in the car i ride in a carseat. if i am bad during punishment im am forced to stand in the family room naked twice as long and re dipered + a binkey is strapped to my head. i muzt eat foods high in laxitives and drink Dr pepper to make me pee + poo more. i must go to bed at &pm every night in a crib. my parents make me pay for dipers during punishment and i muust purchase them myself. i am oiften locked outside most of the day with only a siaper on and wearing a shock coller ment for our dog

It was when my uncle came over to stay for a few days and I was 8 and still in diapers but not aware that it was a problem. They had a kid who was 3 and a half and had been diaper trained. I came out after my shower in my clean diapers just like always. My cousin said, "Warren gots diapers. I'm a big boy. I gots underwear." My uncle teased me and my uncle and Dad laughed at me. They had been drinking a few beers. I started to then look at all boys to see who was in diapers and at school I realized I was the only one.I felt so different. I always wore my diapers and I put on my plastic pants over them at night and always woke up wet. Dad always changed me. I was toilet trained during the day and would only wet at night.

Warren	52	Well only boys saw me. It was a rural area and the boys stuck together and we only had a few girls around. The boys would really get on my case and tease me. I just took it and never said a word. I would get red faced but just laughed with them. After months of that behavior, it was eventually just something I did and they said less about it. At times they wanted to talk about it so I know they were still concerned. "Why do you wear those diapers?", they would ask. I would just say, cuz my Dad said so and I don't want to get spanked. Plus I knew I would wet the bed. I guess I might have been wetting the bed for years and that is how I started to wear them. I just never realized that it wa so different until I was 8.

She made an effort to stay friends with me, but every time I went for a change or pooped in class I could see that it was a part of her life she had outgrown, and we gradually drifted apart.
Robby	47	My friend Paul was a year and half younger than me. We would often be playing at my house and my mom would interrupt our play to check me and change me if nessary. Paul would watch me get changed. Paul would brag that he did not need diapers any more. My mom would tell me how grown-up Paul was and remind me that I was getting too old for diapers.

Warren	52	Well it was my little cousin Charlie. He was three and I was eight. I had on my night-time diaper after my shower and he was running around the room in front of the TV in his little pair of underwear with firetrucks on them. He was my favorite cousin. He stopped and said, "Warren gots on diapers." He was aware that it was different but at age 8 I was unaware. He kept saying, "Diapers, diapers, diapers" and ran around. My Dad and Uncle laughed. Dad pulled me over and rubbed my head so I would be okay and said, "Our kid still wears his, don't you kiddo." I looked down and nodded my head and they laughed. Warren	52	After that first time, Dad decided that it was okay to just let people know about my diapers. He would diaper me infront of who ever was at the house. That is how the neighbor Art first saw me ( at age 9) and his son Jim also saw me being changed. I had peed my jeans while working outside on the farm and Dad was upset, so for the summer when I was 9, I wore diapers during the day too. Granddad often would come out and se me in the field and bring me some ice water. He started to feel my diaper and see if I was wet. Once he found me wet, he went back to the house and returned with a dry diaper. I was on the tranctor and he waited on the road until I got back to that place. He waved me over and looked me in the eye and talked about farming and how much field work I was doing. While looking at me and talking about farming, he opened my jeans, pulled off my wet diaper and replaced it with a dry disposable one. He only stopped talking long enough to reach between my legs to grab the new diaper. Counsil Charlie who was now four, was often with him and always saw me and always said, "He wears a diaper."

I felt really bad when they would make fun of me because I had never been potty trained. Especially once I started reaching the teen years, most people, both girls and boys have a very limited understanding of why someone so old would still be wearing diapers.

Warren	52	This is still painful to talk about but I am grateful that I can express my feelings. After I had been exposed to most all of the boys in school in elementary school, all the boys knew it in middle and high school as well. The younger boys in the family and neighborhood would always call me "peepants". As time went on I started to pee my pants during the day, so I had to wear diapers. Then it was "wet diaper" as a name. I sat with the younger boys so the oboys my age would not beat me up, so the younger boys just teased me which was better than getting pushed around or de-panced.

Andy	19	The first time a girl saw me wearing diapers that I can remember was in fifth grade, when I was being changed by the nurse. I had pooped during lunch, and so went to be changed. The nurse at the time used to lock the door whenever she was changing me, but for whatever reason, she forgot. This girl a couple grades below me came in as the nurse was sliding the diaper under my bottom and taping it up, with the poopy diaper only half rolled up beside me. The nurse asked her to wait outside, and if anything she was more embarrassed than me.

Andy	19	The first time a boy saw me in diapers was I think during kindergarten. We were out during recess and was playing kickball with some other kids and while running I tripped and fell flat on my face. I went up into a sitting position, and was bleeding fairly badly from sitting on the ground. I started crying, and from the shock of hitting the ground I pooped in my diaper. Once other kids started gathering around me, they smelled the mess and one of them helped me up and curiously pulled my shorts down, exposing my wet and messy Huggies to about 20 different guys in my grade. It was humiliating, and I got made fun of for awhile, but eventually the ruckus died down, as it always does.
Warren	52	My neighbor kid Jim stayed over alot and slept with me. He really liked me in the diapers and talked about it all the time. he would tease me, but he would also like to look at me and touch them. He would want me to just wear my diapers in bed. he would pull up close to me in bed and touch the diapers and giggle. I liked Jim and could take the teasing. In the morning I would be wet and he would feel my diaper and smile. "Your wet!" I would smile and wait until Dad came in. He would take off the wet diaper and Jim and I would shower and clean up. Then as Jim got dressed, Dad always came in and put a diaper on me. Hr put them on real tight and didn't like it when I did it. JIm watched in fasination. Dad would just keep talking, "You boys hungry? We are having pancakes for breakfest".
