Mike P. | 57 | I've always used suppositories (sometimes enemas) to regulate (manage) my bowel movements. I'm bowel and
bladder incontinent because of spina bifida and I need to wear diapers. In order to prevent BM accidents in my
diapers, I need to take a suppository once a day or once every other day to "clean myself out." This method of
bowel control is reliable, but sometimes I have a BM in my diaper. `

Mike P. | 57 | Usually I have a bowel movement with 15 minutes or a half hour after I insert a suppository into my
rectum. Since I do this about once a day, I usually have a well formed, although soft, stool to pass. Because
I'm a paraplegic, I use a raised toilet seat that creates an open space between my buttocks and the opening of the
commode. I can reach under myself to insert the suppository then I just stay there until I have a BM. Like
everybody else, when I think I'm done, I wipe myself and flush. Over the years there have been times when I
wasn't done, got off the toilet and diapered too soon and had an accident. The whole process can take 30 or 45
minutes, more or less.
|
| 38 | Generally withing 30-45 minutes after taking Fleet Phospho-soda I have a heavy bowel move. For the next hour or
two I will have several more lighter moves that are quite watery.

Doug | 14 | usallu ina plactic shorts over my diapers as a jsut in case.
|
Mike P. | 57 | Because I use suppositories to manage my BMs, most of the time I'm able to do my BM in the toilet (after
a suppository). Ocasionally, if I'm not completely cleaned out, I sometimes have an accident in my diaper after
going on the toilet.
|
mike | 11 | i like to diaper me backwards after taking laxatives

|
d | 23 | i would recomend enemas or suppositories as you have more control over the duration of the effects upposed to a
pill
|
| 15 | Take them all the time.
|
jamie | 17 | I don't recomend it unless you are constipated but for me if I eat 2 bowls of lettuce then that is good
enough
|
Mike J | 17 | mineral oil, but use it wisely as I read that, if abused, it can give you pneumonia.
|
Doug | 14 | yes very helpful plus they feel so good when i poop out everything
|
| 38 | Fleet Phospho-soda is the best laxative I have found thus far. However, I would highly recommend not taking a
full bottle all at once unless you are very heavily diapered and have a whole day to allow the Fleet Phospho-soda
to do its thing.
|
messyme | 40 | any natural laxative is good 4 u but avoid bicarb as it damages your stomach
|
| | I love suppositories.
