Describe the storage place(s) you have for your diapers and how visible/hidden they are to other people:
Name | Age | Answer
| | | I keep then in the front corner of my closet, so if I left the door open anyone looking in can't see them. You'd have
to go inside the closet.
| | 53 | I wear/use mostly cloth diapers, but I keep a dozen or so disposables on hand for the times I cannot conveniently
use cloth ones. My cloth diapers are stacked in a "sideways" bookcase type of contraption, with the disposables on
the floor in thier packaging beneath it
| | | Some place on a industrial-parck. If you do'nt no you can find Diapers, you not look.
| | | My diaper storage is highly visible to others.
| DiaperDon | 36 | I leave most of the diapers in the original box on a shelf in the garage. The box is turned upside down,
so the pictures and labels are not visible. It would be easy to find if someone were looking at the boxes.
I keep a small supply in a bag in the trunk of my car (under the carpet by the spare tire). Again, it would be easy
for someone to find, but not likely they would be looking there.
| | | I keep some under my bed, then the rest either in my cloths drawings but usally in my closet
| Ed | 18 | Under bed, hidden well.
| | | I keep some of my diapers on my dresser or in my closet. I usually unpack them and put them in stacks
| Diapernator | 14 | clost, under my bed. You would have to be looking for diapers, to find them
| Jeff | 12 | My mom keeps about 12 diapers or so in my top drawer where most of the rest of my clothes are kept. The rest
of the diapers are usually in my bedroom closet although mom keeps about 4 or 5 in the minivan for when we go on long
trips (over 1 hour long) or for when I have an accident in public. She also keeps 1 in her purse for emergency
situations.
| Oldwetter | | In a box at work and in the garage
| Joe | 24 | I keep my nappies in a travel suit case in my wardrobe with a lock on it.
| barkid74 | 32 | I have them in boxes, totes, or bags. Some are in my closet, in boxes in my office, and under my bed etc.
I work at a drug store so I bring boes home often to store stuff in. The strongest and best boxes are adult diaper
boxes. I have also had stuff shipped in diaper boxes so it isn't uncomon for diaper boxes to be around the house.
Also when people ask for boxes, (moving, storage, etc.) they usually get diaper boxes.
| | | a cabinet in my bathroom...ppl could just open the drawers and find my diapers...
| Allen | 51 | I have abig area in the closet to store them and a set of drawers for wipes, plastic pants and desitin
| Craig | 11 | There is a cuboard in my room that I share with my younger brother. we both have to wear diapers. you can't
see them unless you open the cuboard doors. if you open the doors you can see all the diapers, power and supplies my
mom keeps.
| | 15 | I keep them in full view
| gbaby | 23 | i keep them in the night stand cabinet if you open it you would see them
| | | in a storage container like a big bucket with a lid only rectangular and more like a chest than a buvcket
| InkyWonky | 52 | It's a closet where I keep all my AB clothing
| | 19 | My place is a very hidden one. The base of my bed is a full one with 3 drawers. If i remove one of them completely,
there are some space between the bed and the drawers, it's where i keep my lovely diapers.
| Matt | 15 | Stored in a backpack in my closet.
| Sassja | 15 | My Disposable Diapers when I lived at home were kept both in the closet as marked above, as well as near a
diaper changing table, so they were convenient & at hand. Not at school my roommate & I share in the Disposable
Diapers & they are kept in a supply drawer & cabinet, along with our other diaper supplies.
It is a clothing drawers in our closet, & I, we designate 2 drawers, one for each of us just for diapers, then one
drawer for our Plastic Baby Pants, & one more for other baby supplies needed. Then we also have a storage area of
powder & wipes etc. in the Bathroom in a drawer. Since most of our diaper changes are in the bedroom area, we have &
just transfer supplies to a large plastic container which we keep under the bed.
| baby johnny | 44 | i have a diaper changing table where my diapers are changed and have all my diaper supplies for others
to see
| Steve | 13 | in the garage, in what looks like a paint tin
| Dustin | 14 | In a lockde cabnit
| katlen | 8 | hiden onder pillowr and close
| ultrapampersplus | 8 | My diapers are in there on clost outside my room in the hallway. This closet has built-in cabinets
and drawers. My mom and dad had this closet put in just for that reason. The closet will hold over 1000 to 2000
diapers at one time.
| Toadboy | 7 | I keep the main supply in the closet on the top shelf. I keep the open package on top of my swamp cooler.
| Colby | 13 | They are kept in my drawer where I have my briefs. My best friends know where they are but you can't see them
unless you in my room with me when I am getting changed cause then my diaper drawer is open.
|
How much space does your storage place for diapers take up?
Name | Age | Answer
| | | pprox. 1-1 ft of the corner.
| | 53 | In total between cloth and disposable: an entire 4 drawer dresser with the cloth diapers stacked on top of it. The
drawers hold my boosters and plastic pants
| | | it takes up quite a few storage space
| DiaperDon | 36 | The box in the garage doesn't take much space. About a 1 foot square, because the box is turned up on end
on the edge of the shelf.
| | | not all that much,it depends on whether I keep them in the packaging or not
| Ed | 18 | Not much. Diapers, wipes, lotion, nappy bags.
| | | Not much
| Jeff | 12 | Not too much. My mom usually keeps about 3 or 4 dozen diapers around so it's not like there are disposable
diapers lying around everywhere.
| Oldwetter | | about a 16"X16" box, I also store my plastic pants there, and my cloth diaper.
| Joe | 24 | My nappies do not take up that much space as i only buy one packet at a time so they are not easily found.
| barkid74 | 32 | Too much... Even if I wore every day, and I don't, I probably have about a years supply. I poobably have 6
or 7 boxes and 3 large totes.
| | | small set oof drawers...
| Allen | 51 | 3 feet wide ,2 feet deep and 7 feet tall
| | 15 | A whole drawer
| gbaby | 23 | about half
| | | 2' x 3'
| InkyWonky | 52 | 1/2 the space.
| | 19 | Less than 1 cubic meter
| Matt | 15 | as much as the backpack does.
| Sassja | 15 | Sort of hard to answer, except that, that we've already said, the large plastic container under the bed & the
drawers mentioned above in the closet.
| baby johnny | 44 | my changing table shelves has 3 shelves, 1 for disposable diapers ,1 for cloth diapers AND PLastic
panties and 1 for diaper supplies
| Steve | 13 | not lots
| Dustin | 14 | The whole cabnit
| katlen | 8 | not much
| ultrapampersplus | 8 | It's a wall-in closet that's about 8' X 10'. Cabinets all along the walls with an outside door to
bring all of the diapers in from the out side.
| Toadboy | 7 | About three and a half square feet.
| Colby | 13 | Most of the top drawer with my briefs. Sometimes I have a new pack of diapers that my mom just brought in my
closet cause I can't get all of them in my top drawer.
|
Explain why you take your diapers out of the package before storing them, or leave them in their package, whichever applies to you:
Name | Age | Answer
| | | I take them out so they can "fluff up" from the tight packaging. Plus they stack better.
| | 53 | I take my disposables out of the package as I need them. I usually double my adult size disposable with a large
baby diaper. Both bags are kept on the floor at the base of my diaper dresser.
| | | i take them out of the pacage before storing them is because my mom wants me to so it would take up less space.
| DiaperDon | 36 | I leave most of them in the original packaging in the garage, because I have no good reason to take them
out. I take the ones in the car out of the package, because the whole package won't fit in the small spaces.
| | | I there are only half of the diapers left I just dont feel that i need to keep the package
| Ed | 18 | Depends really!
| | | It is better to see how much I have left
| Diapernator | 14 | Easier to get.
| Jeff | 12 | My mom always buys the package with 48 diapers. She'll take about 12 out and put them in my top dresser
drawer. The rest of them usually stay in the package in my closet unless she needs to restock the minivan diaper
supply.
| Oldwetter | | So if someone finds them it wouldn't be to obvious what they were at first glance.
| Joe | 24 | I leave my nappies in there packet so they take up less room.
| barkid74 | 32 | Generally I only take them out of the package if there are only a few left and I want to use the bag to
dispose of the diapers discreatly.
| | | dunno...just do...
| Allen | 51 | They are stacked in the bags they came in. I have diapers stacked in dresser drawers for quick use
| Craig | 11 | my mom usually busy 2 or three boxes of diapers and unpacks most of them in the cuboard and then leaves
whatever is left in the closet
| gbaby | 23 | it is easyer to grab for diaper changes
| | | i just rip it open and leave them there
| InkyWonky | 52 | I don't usually.
| | 19 | Because the package is too big to enter by the hole.
| Matt | 15 | I put them in the backpack when I get them, just so they are hidden.
| Sassja | 15 | We, find that if we store them out of the package it takes less space, & also is much more convenient &
easier to get to.
| Steve | 13 | I take them out of the packaging to hide them more effectively
| ultrapampersplus | 8 | No noise when taking them out of the cabinets or drawers. Easy access to diapers.
| Toadboy | 7 | I leave them in because I'm too lazy to take them out and stack them.
| Colby | 13 | Mom takes them out if I got room in the drawer.
|
(For adults) How was your diaper supply was handled as a young boy? How many diapers did you usually have on hand, where were they stored, how conspicuous was your diaper supply, etc.
Name | Age | Answer
| | | My father would always take my diapers away if he found them (and he searched my room all the time). I usually bought
a pack at a time and put them in my stereo speaker boxes (I had to unscrew the speakers to get to them). I only took
two or three out at a time so if they were found, I still had more. It was worth the trouble.
| | 53 | My diapers as a baby and toddler were all cloth ones. Disposables had not been invented yet!! Our diapers were
kept in the bedroom along with our plastic pants.
| DiaperDon | 36 | My mom bought 1 package at a time, and they lasted a long time, because I only used them when camping or
traveling. At home I used cloth. I don't know where the package was stored.

| InkyWonky | 52 | I didn't keep any visible, it was kept in hiding.
| Sassja | 15 | My, Our, diaper supplies are delivered on a set schedule to my room mate & I, at school, so that we don't run
out, & can know that our supply of diapers, Plastic baby pants, & other diapers needs will be at hand when needed.
| Toadboy | 7 | My dad took care of my diaper supply. I always had a few diapers in my room and more in my car. The diapers
were stored in the bathroom, in my dad's room and some in my room.
|

| | | i always have diapers. My parents buy alot every week.
| DiaperDon | 36 | Last time, I ran out completely before buying more. Then I bought a big bulk-size box at the warehouse
store. They aren't the quality I had found in the other brands I had bought previously, so will probably go back to
buying smaller packages more often again after these are gone.
| | | usually about a month or a little over
| Ed | 18 | 2-3
| Jeff | 12 | My mom buys my diapers every three weeks since I go through about 2 per day.
| Oldwetter | | down to 2 or 3.
| Joe | 24 | 3 or 4 nappies left then i go and buy more.
| barkid74 | 32 | I usually buy diapers based on oppertunity. Ex
| | | i get them delivered by the case once every 2 months: good deal on ebay or I want to try a new kind.
| Allen | 51 | I always have 3 dozen on hand I also have 3 dozen gauze diapers for nite and emergencies
| Craig | 11 | my mom knows how many diapers my brother and I always have. she keeps an extra bag around just in case
| gbaby | 23 | one or two diapers left
| | | 6 ish
| InkyWonky | 52 | Low
| | 19 | When i dont have any diapers at hand and i want to wear one.
| Matt | 15 | When only 2 or 3 are left.
| Sassja | 15 | Both our parents, & the big boy diaper company & supplier we work with know us both well, & work with us, we
don't let things get very low.
| Steve | 13 | I can only get more when I"m sure I'll be able to sneak them in the house without being noticed
| Dustin | 14 | ALL the wake
| katlen | 8 | none
| ultrapampersplus | 8 | My mom and dad keep about 300 to 400 diapers on hand at all times.
| Toadboy | 7 | Once my supply is about half-empty.
| Colby | 13 | The lowest it ever been is maybe 3 diapers before I got a new pack of diapers.

| | | My brother also wears diapers.
| Jeff | 12 | My sister loves to check to see how many diapers I have just so she can write on the "to get" list on the
refrigerator door that I need more baby diapers. She always writes "Huggies for Jeffy" on the list.
| | | only child...
| Craig | 11 | sometimes my younger brother will tell my mom that we are low on diapers
| Matt | 15 | I have no brothers or sisters.
| Sassja | 15 | It is my room mate that this question refurs to, as I am handy capped, & have difficulty changing my self, he
