The Early Years I was born in Racine, WI October 6th 1955. My name is Taylor (pronounced Tyler), the "a" is silent Fox. The first five years of we life our family moved several times, ending up in Decatur, IL around 1958. I attended Southeast School (Kindergarten) and was introduced to Ritalin, Thorazine, and Phenobarbital three Times A Day. I was later diagnosed with ADHD, in my 20`s. The above was a brief introduction. While I was taking Ritalin, Thorazine, and Phenobarbital three times a day. I was like a zombie; if I made a mess in my pants, I was punished for something that at the time was beyond my ability to control. I had a cousin (Teddy) who when he either wet his pants or the bed the night he was made to wear a diaper to bed and school as a form of punishment and he (Teddy) never heard the end of it from siblings, other children in the neighborhood, school or anywhere else their family went. Over the years, I wondered what it would be like to wear diapers. I have tried it on occasion, out of morbid curiosity and found out its not as bad as some people might think. Also over the years I met other children of various ages who either wear diapers occasionally, at night only, or all the time. Theyre not babies, the majority of them for one reason or another have no control over their bladder, bowels for whatever the reason and theyre just like other children their age who dont wear diapers. I am now 52 years old with that same morbid curiosity that got me in trouble over the years, I will continue to treat older children who wear diapers like I would want to be treated; with respect, kindness, compassion, understanding, and expect nothing less in return. Well, thats all folks! Hope my story inspires others as stories Ive read in your Archives have inspired me to tell my story as simplistically and honestly as possible without being graphic.
