Chris: age 12
Current age: 18
This happened to me a while back.
It was a normal day like every other. It was the last week
of 6th grade and I was excited to get on to Junior High. I hadn’t been focusing
on my work. I had been "slacking off" according to my mother. I was
sort of ignoring her. Then, just like that the week flew by. Report cards came
out and I knew I was going to go on to J.H. I opened the report card to a
surprise. Yeah, I made it to the next grade but all of my main subject grades
were C's. I had pulled off A's all year and I knew my mother would be pissed.
When I got home I was scared to see what would happen. The
usual routine went down. My mom asked how my day went. I answered and asked if
Tom could come over. She would always answer yes. After I called him she wanted
to see my report card. I almost crapped my pants. SHE ACTUALLY ASKED AFTER I
GOT OFF THE PHONE! I handed it to her. She opened it and got a look of
disappointment. She said she was a little upset with me and there would be a
minor punishment for only passing with C's.
When Tom got over she said she was going to give us money to
go up the street to get ice cream since she had to go up to the store and
didn't want to leave us home alone. She handed me a ten.
We were going up to the nearest ice cream place when we ran
into this kid who hated me! We casually walked by him hoping he wouldn't notice
us. He saw us and chased after us saying he was going to "rip me a new
one" as a graduation gift. We ran for 10 straight minutes around the
neighborhood trying to ditch him but to no avail. I was finally through with
running so I turned around and as, he was 5 feet away from me, held out a
clenched fist and he ran smack into it.
We left him like that and went to get ice cream.
After we got the ice cream, we headed back to my house. It
was maybe only 3:30. My mom was pulling in as we were approaching the house. She
told me to carry in the bags but not to look inside because she had a surprise
in the bags for me later. (Boy, would it be a surprise!)
Tom left maybe at 7:30 since it was a Friday. Mom told me to
get into the shower. I ran into my room and grabbed a shirt and boxers. She
walked in and said I would only need the shirt and to give it to her. I
followed my orders.
After I got out of the shower she hollered at me to come
into her room. I walked in with just a towel wrapped around my waist. She had
the bags in her room. I looked puzzled. She told me to sit down next to her. I
did so. She explained to me that since I wasn't doing good in school and that I
punched a kid in the nose, which shocked me because she wasn’t even there, that
I was going to have to wear diapers until my grades pulled up.
I was crying because that meant an entire summer in diapers.
She told me to lay down. At the risk of being diapered longer, I cooperated. She
got me all changed and told me to go to bed.
The next morning I woke up dry. I didn't know why mom put me
in diapers if I didn't even wet the bed. I walked downstairs and found a note
from mom. It read:
Chris,
I know you may still be mad at me for what I
did, but I did it because I love you. I had to cover for someone at the Track. I
will be home by 4. As a treat I'm going to take you out to dinner. And, this
may make you mad but I'm going to start to make a few rules for when we go out/
when you're home.
I looked at the clock and it was only 9:30. I made some
breakfast and watched cartoons all morning. I didn't bother getting in the
shower because I didn't know how to put a diaper on!
When 3:30 rolled around I had started to fall asleep. I
remember waking up to my mom shaking my shoulder. I opened my eyes to see a
smile, then a frown. She was looking down. I looked down and saw a yellow stain
on the diaper. I was shocked! I never had an accident in my life! She carried
my upstairs and changed me on the bathroom floor. She said the disappointment
line again. I was nearly crying. Mom said she was going to hire a babysitter
when she worked so the babysitter could change me.
The next week rolled through. I had the longest speech with
my mom the next night about her working doubles for the next 2 weeks and how to
respect an older boy/girl babysitter.
Monday came and she left at 8 A.M. The babysitter got there
not too much later. He introduced himself to me. His name was Adam and he was
going to act like a friend instead of a sitter. We had a good time and played
PlayStation a lot. He left long after I fell asleep. The last thing I remember
before I fell asleep was asking Adam to change me.
The next morning I woke up to the best smell... and the
worst smell at the same time. I walked downstairs and tripped over my own 2
feet at the last step. Adam came running over and started laughing. I was at
first in shock that he was here but then laughed at my own stupidity. I asked
him what he was doing here at 7 in the morning and he told me mom offered him a
permanent job here. He accepted it too. I thought it was cool. Adam was like an
older brother to me and became one as the months went on. He was 17 and could
drive. So when 7th grade came around he could give me a ride to school and I
could show him off as my big brother!
After he helped me up he changed my diaper and we ate
breakfast. He had fixed ham, eggs, toast and home fries. We played more
PlayStation and decided to go for a walk. I had totally forgotten that I was in
just a T-shirt and a diaper! We walked for about 20 minutes before I ran into a
friend of mine. I walked up to him and he started cracking up. I got a puzzled
face and then looked down. I started to cry and then ran home. I knew that he
was going to blab to everyone when 7th grade started.
When I reached home I ran in the door and ran up to my room.
Adam came up, knocked, and entered. He sat next to me and hugged me. I asked
why I had to have such a mean punishment. I said I was going to lose all my
friends if Jake blabbed! He hugged me and said it was going to be alright. I
believed him because he was a really great guy.
The next few months went by like nothing. One night Adam
told me he had to go out to get the last of his stuff from his apartment. He
brought me next door and left my mom a note. I must've stayed at the house for
at least 3 hours until my mom finally pulled into the driveway.
I ran to her. She asked me where Adam was. I gave her the
note.
Susan,
I'm sorry I had to
leave Chris at Tom's for a few minutes. I had to run home and get the last of
my stuff. I shouldn't be too long.
ADAM
We went inside and
mom then changed my diaper and got me ready for bed. I was really worried about
Adam. I had a weird feeling falling asleep that night.
I woke up the next
morning and called for mom. She didn’t answer. I walked downstairs and looked
around. Adam wasn't there. I started to get scared. I looked at the clock and
it was 10:30. Adam was nowhere to be found. I called mom at work and she rushed
home.
That night on the news we found out what happened. He had
gotten into a car crash on the way home. It was right at the top of our street
too! We jetted to the hospital and found his room. He didn't look bad. All he
did was break an arm and a leg.
7th grade started a week later and I just stayed in diapers
and now wear them 24/7. Me and Adam still hang out and he even baby-sits me.
Adam still comes over and babysits me. I'm in High School
now and we do a lot more than what he did last year. He's my best friend. I
still wear diapers because my mom has made it a permanent thing.
