Little Brother Summary: James's parents had just died and his mom's sister Ann takes custody of him. Ann's two daughters, 15-year-old Christian and 12-year- old Allieson. James is 14 and is 4'5 and under 90lbs. He's turned into their little 2-year-old brother Jamie. "Hi, you must be James," the lady said as she walked up to me. "I'm Ann Adams. Your mother said if anything that should happen to her I will take care of you," She said holding my shoulder. "Mrs. Adams?" I said meekly. "Don't call me that," she said in a playful way. "I hate being called Mrs. Call me Ann, Annie, or mom if you’re comfortable.” “Mom, can we go home?" I said as she hugged me. "Yes dear." We got into her car and drove to her house. It was big and even bigger on the inside. It even had a hot tub and pool. I heard giggling and the running of feet. Two girls came running down the stairs. "Girls, this is James, your new brother," Mom said. "Hi James," one said. "I'm Christian!" She gave me a hug. "I'm Allison!" the smaller one said. "Let's give him the tour!" Allison said. They grabbed my hands and pulled me around the house. "How old are you? Five?" Christian said. "I'm fourteen, " I said. "You’re so cute, though!" Allison giggled. "I'm fifteen and Allison is twelve, "Christian said. She guided me into a large bedroom with a plasma TV and mini-fridge. "This is your room, "Allison said. Apparently this was the guest room. "Come on, we wanna show you our room!" Allison said, grabbing my arm. Here's something about the girls: Christian is blond, 5'8, and very pretty with long shoulder-length brown hair. Allison was like her sister, only smaller with brown hair. "Here's our room!” It was all pink, purple, yellow or light blue. There was a makeup-mirror in the corner, two queen beds with blue covers and a huge walk-in closet. "Wow!" is the only thing I can say. "Girls... I mean, umm, kids-- lets go! It's time for dinner! "Mom said, poking her head in the door. "Yes mom!" Christian said. We walked down the stairs with me in the middle looking like their little brother. After dinner we went in the living room to watch a movie. I thought Christian was a girlie-girl but I was wrong. She's a huge tomboy. She picked out Aliens V. Predators. "I hate this movie!" Allison whined. "Go find something to do," Christian groaned, looking at Allison. I felt some tugging on my hair. "Can we play with your hair, James?" she asked me. I had extremely long hair that went to my shoulders. "Okay, just don't go overboard," I said. I felt she had braided my hair I stood up and ran to my room. I got on the bed and began to cry. Mom walked in the room. "Honey, are you okay?" I hadn't cried, even through the funeral. "I know it's hard. Just cry it out and you'll be okay," Mom said, holding me. Apparently I had fallen asleep in her arms she put me to bed and shut off the light and left. I awoke next morning came downstairs for breakfast. "Mom, why doesn't James go to school?" Allison whined about school." "Because he just moved here and can't make it into the third-term. We'll have to enroll him next year." She hurried them off and cooked me breakfast. "I can't get to the stool!" I said. (Being short really sucks!) She lifted me up. "James um do you want to go to school next year?" Mom asked me. "No way. "Then if you don't want to go to school here's what you have to do. You have to be a baby for me.” "What!? I’m fourteen!" “You can be five!" she exclaimed. "No way!" I said, starting to get angry. "If you want to skip school next year you can be a baby or I'll enroll you into first grade. How does that sound?" I thought it over. I was in a loss-loss situation. "Fine, I'll be a baby," I said. I'm better off there than first grade again, I thought. "Okay, lets go shopping.” We came home from the mall at around 2:45. "The girls will be home in a minute," Mom said. She set up the playpen, crib, changing table, and highchair in 5 minutes. She undressed me and put a Pampers on me with a t-shirt. "Okay, you can take a nap. You've had a long day," Mom said, picking me up. "I don't wanna take a nap," I said. "You’re 17 months old; you need to rest." She brought me upstairs and put me in the crib. "Shh, Jamie, go to sleep, " she said as she turned on the mobile and monitor. 'This can't be that bad. I look small anyway. This can't get any worse,' I thought. Boy, was I about to get a wakeup call. After my nap I awoke to Christian staring down at me. A little disorientated, I started to cry. Christian calmed me down. "Shhhhh. Jamie, It's okay. Your sister's here." She kept telling me. Mom came up. "What's wrong with Jamie?" Mom asked Christian. "He's a little confused about his surroundings," Christian said. "Let me take him. I'll go feed him. Go with Allison swimming," Mom said to Christian. "What about me?" Allison yelled from her room. "Nothing, dear," Mom yelled back. She carried me over to the changing table. "Momma, I didn't pee yet," I told her. "Babies don't know when they go or not, Jamie. I'm just checking.” She looked and found I was wet. "Tsk tsk, someone has a wet diaper," Mom said. She changed me and brought me downstairs. Out the window I saw Allison and Christian jumping into the pool. "Can I go swimming, Momma?" I asked her. "Okay, after I feed you. I have to go to work and your sister will watch you," Mom said. She fed me some kind of vegetable and milk. "Baby all done," Mom said. I was smiling and clapping my hands. 'What the heck am I doing? I'm acting like a baby!' I thought. Mom brought me upstairs and put me in a swim diaper. "Come on, Jamie," Mom said, putting me on the ground. I crawled because I was feeling too lazy to walk. At the backdoor Mom picked me up and brought me to the pool's edge. Got out some orange water wings and put them on me. "Momma I can swim," I told her. "Safety precautions, dear," she replied. She handed me to Christian. The three of us splashed around. I had a lot of fun. At 8:00 it was my bedtime. Mom brought me upstairs and put the monitor on and kissed me and left. Allison and Christian came in next. "Have fun?" Allison asked me. "Ya ya. I have lots of fun!" I told her. She smiled and kissed me on the head and left. "See you tomorrow, Jamie," Christian said and left. 'This might not be so bad,' I thought.
