Chapter 18
My First Sleepover with Jason
“So Jason, when are
you going to have me over so I can see where you live and meet your cousins?” I
asked a few weeks after the little bomb I had dropped on him about the trust
fund I set up for him.
“Uh.. I don’t really
know. I mean my family normally keeps pretty busy on the weekends. I’d have to
ask them and let you know.”
“OK, I was just
wondering.” I got the feeling that Jason was not telling me something but I
couldn’t figure out what it was. I knew that he would probably tell me sooner
or later so I just decided to let him have the space it seemed like he needed
to come to terms with what ever it was that he didn’t want me to know. Little
did either one of know it would come sooner than later.
“So are you boys
ready to go home?” Jason’s aunt asked a few days later when she turned up to
take Jason,
“Ian,
“Is there a problem,
Jase?” I asked him.
“Not at all. What
would make you say that?” I was asked nervously.
“Just a feeling.
It’s nothing.” A short time later we pulled up to a house I assumed was Jason’s
home for the time being. If Jason was embarrassed by it, I couldn’t see why.
While it wasn’t even near to level of where I was living right now it wasn’t
all that bad. It was a nice split level house and everything looked like it was
well cared for. As we got out of the car, I heard
“
“Yeah, but..”
“There,
“Yeah.” I was told
warily.
“Good now lets not
keep them waiting.” I added seeing that Jason and his aunt were almost to the
door.
“OH, Jason. I forgot
to get some bags out of the trunk could you get them please.” His aunt called
over her shoulder as
“Sure. Ian could you
give me a hand?” I was asked as Jason walked past me.
“No problem.” I said
as I started to turn back.
“That won’t be
necessary Ian. Jason can get them.” His Aunt said as she opened the door.
“Jay-Jay!” I heard a
slightly flat voice yell just before something heavy collided with my chest
knocking me on my ass.
“
“I’m really sorry
about that Ian. It’s just that
“Sorry about that
mom,
“Why couldn’t you
have kept better control of him!?
Before his aunt, or
cousin could react I spun around and slapped Jason hard across the mouth.
*“In Here Now!”* I
said roughly in Italian as I dragged Jason into what turned out to be an
office.
*“What the hell was
that all about?!”*I asked coldly as I spun Jason around to face him.
*“It’s Nothing!”*
*“Bull Shit! You
don’t go off on a family member like that if it’s nothing. Now What was that
all about?”*
*“You wouldn’t
Understand?”* Jason said starting to cry.
*“Then make me
understand.”* I replied while calming down some.
“It’s everything OK.
Finding out that my parents wanted to keep the fact that I have a brother a
secret from me. Acting like they’re better than other people because they
happen to have money. How my friends act around me now that I’m living with my
aunt and uncle and they aren’t so well off. And especially how my friends and
parents act when they’re around
“In a way, I can
understand. My father and his family treated me the same way during the time I
spent with them. My grandfather however showed me that just because you happen
to have money doesn’t mean that you’re better than anyone else. Now I want you
to think about what you have here. You have a family that cares about you,
you’re well taken care of. As for whether your family has money or not doesn’t
matter to me what matters is that they care about you. Now I think you better
get your head out of your ass and see what you actually have and quit worrying
about what others think. I’m going to give you a piece of advice.”
“Save it I don’t
want to hear it.” Jason said sourly. Before I could help myself, I had him
pinned to a nearby wall by his throat.
“Listen here little
bro, You better get that chip off your shoulder before I decide to knock it
off. There are only Three people that you have to worry about as to what they
think about you. One is the man upstairs, and he’ll love you regardless. Two is
your family and they’ll also care about you regardless. And third, but most
importantly, is how you see and feel about yourself. Now get your ass out of my
sight before I do something we both regret.” I said as I let him fall to the
ground and stalked out of the room. Without saying a word to anyone else I
headed out back and started working out a bit to calm down. I walked back into
the house about an hour later.
“I’m sorry about my
reaction earlier. I have no excuse for it. Please accept my apology.” I said as
I walked up to Jason’s aunt barely holding my emotions in.
“There’s nothing to
forgive. Jason was out of line. I guess I should thank you. I’ve been trying to
get him to open up for a while now but he wouldn’t say a word to me. At least
now we know what’s bothering him.”
“Besides, brothers
fight at times. It was only a matter of time before you two had a bit of a
spat. Though I
“Climb on up here.
I’m sure you’re way past due for a change.” Turning a bit red in the face, I
complied. Half way through my change I saw
“He has Cerebral
Palsy.” his mom said when she saw me looking at how he walked.
“Oh sorry.”
“There’s nothing to
be sorry about.” I was told as
“No, I meant sorry
about staring.” I said as I hopped off the table.
“Oh, OK. Well get
out of here and go join everyone else in the basement.” I was told as I felt a
hand being applied to my butt. As I walked out, I saw
“Hey Jason, I hear
you really got it from your brother when you got home.” A boy about my age
laughed when I walked into the Rec room the Murphy’s had set up in their
basement.
“Uh, Seamus. That’s
not Jason. That’s his brother.” His brother informed him
“Oh. Well, pull a
seat up. And tell us about yourself. I mean other than what your brother has
already told us.” Seamus said with a smile.
“What has he already
told you?” I asked while giving
“Nothing much just
some basic background.” I was informed. With a shrug, I sat down and started
filling them in on my background. After about an hour of this Andrew stated he
was getting bored and suggested we go outside.
“
“UGGHH!!” The kid
exclaimed as he came into contact with the ground and the air was forced from
his lungs.
“Alex, I’d like you
to meet Jason’s brother, Ian.” Andrew laughed as he walked over to see if his
brother was all right.
“Pleased to meet
you.” I said with a grin as I helped Alex to his feet.
“Likewise.”
“Boys, once you’re
done beating up on each other, it’s time to come in and get your homework
started before dinner.” Mrs. Murphy called from the back door about thirty
minutes after Alex had joined us.
“Be right in mom.”
Seamus yelled as we picked ourselves up from the ground.
“
“What are you
psychic to?” Andrew joked.
“Nah, I just know
him to well.” I answered as we entered the house.
“So are you ready to
act your age?” I asked on seeing Jason sitting at the kitchen table.
“Yeah, I’m sorry
about the way I acted. It’s just that…” I stopped him by putting a hand up.
“I’m not the one you
should be apologizing to. They are.” I told him while nodding my head towards
his aunt and cousin who were now standing behind him. Without another word I
walked past him so I could get my book bag and start in on my homework like I
had been asked to do. Thirty minutes later, my dad showed up to pick
“Ian,
“We can if you’d
like. What would you like to know?”
“How about what
started it?”
“Jason started going
off when his youngest cousin mistook me for him and ran into me.”
“And knocked you on
your butt.”
“Yeah, that too.” I
said with a grin of my own.
“So for that you
decided to hit him and started chewing him out instead of letting his aunt
handle it?”
“Kind of, I did
apologize to Mrs. Murphy for my behavior after I had a chance to cool down .”
“And what about to
Jason?”
“No, I didn’t feel
like it was warranted.”
“I see. Consider
yourself restricted ‘til Monday.”
“Yes, ma’am.” I
replied calmly. I have to admit that being placed in hack wasn’t all that
surprising. I could tell that everyone else was surprised by it. Once dinner
was over, I headed up to my room while everyone else headed downstairs.
“I’m sorry for getting
you into trouble, Ian.”
“That’s OK. I knew
they would have found out about this sooner or later. I can’t say that I’m too
surprised by their reaction.” I replied after closing the book I was reading.
“Besides this gives
me the chance to get caught up with all the reading I’ve been wanting to do.” I
added with a smile.
“I can’t believe you
did what
“What’s so hard to
understand. Jason was seriously disrespecting his family and needed an attitude
adjustment. I gave him what he was needing.” I said plainly as I felt the tapes
being pulled away from my sodden diaper.
“I can understand
that but like mom said you should have let his aunt handle it.” I was told as
Megan lifted my legs to pull my diaper out from under me.
“Megan, what would
you do if Isaac started spouting off about being embarrassed about
“I’d probably do the
same thing you did with Jason.” my sister admitted as she took a wipe to my now
bare butt.
“OK, then I don’t
see why you think it’s so hard that I’m incapable of doing something that you
said you’d do if you were in the same situation” Megan just kind of shrugged at
this ending the conversation as she finished getting some of my cloth diapers
on me for the night.
“So what do you kids
have planned next weekend for Halloween?” cousins and I were asked the next
morning by my mom.
“I was wondering if
I could have a party?” Megan asked.
“I don’t see a
problem with it as long as your father or I don’t have plans” Since Megan
didn’t argue this point, I guess this was an iron clad rule when it came to
parties.
“What about you
boys?”
“Justin asked me
yesterday if I wanted to go trick-or-treating with him and his brothers then
spend the night.” Brad said. Isaac and
“What about you
Ian?” my dad asked when he saw that I had yet to say anything on the matter.
“I figured I’d just
get caught up on that paper that Mr. Perez had given us a few days ago.”
“But, that paper
isn’t due for another three weeks.”
“So, I want to get a
head start on it.” I replied glaring at my cousin for butting in.
“We’ll talk about
this later.” my mom said cutting off any fight that was about to start.
“
“Not really, I just
see next weekend as just another day.” I explained simply.
“Well, what did you
do last year to celebrate it?”
“I just “hung”
around the house.” I said stressing, hung. From the look on my mom’s face she
picked up on what I was saying and let the matter drop for a few minutes.
“I may regret asking
this next question ,but what about the other holidays?” I didn’t even bother
answering this question verbally. I could tell though that by my silence, and
the look I gave in response my mom understood entirely what the answer would
have been.
“I see. Well, would
you at least consider doing something for it.”
“I’ll think about
it.” Little did I know something was already being set up for me on this
matter. The rest of the weekend went by quickly. Since I had little else to do,
I decided to work on the paper that had been assigned to my class earlier in
the week.
“What’s this?” Mr.
Perez asked as I handed a folder over to him as I walked to my desk on Monday
morning.
“The rough draft of
the paper you assigned. You said we needed to have a rough draft turned in
prior to doing the final copy.”
“Well, yes I did.
But I wasn’t expecting anything for another week.” I was told in surprise.
“I can hold on to it
for another week if you’d like.” I replied simply.
“No that’s OK. I’ll
go ahead and take a look at it. You’ll have it back by the middle of the week.”
{“Brown Nose”} Ivan
whispered as I walked past him.
{“
“Hey Ian, I hear
that you and Ivan had a few words this morning.” Mikhail said at lunch later
that day.
{“Yeah, very few
words. He seemed to think I was being a bit of a brown nose when I turned in a
paper a bit early.”} I explained. I was kind of surprised that Misha even
wanted to still be friends when he found out about my real age and that I was
now a grade below him. I was however liking the suggestion he had made about
our conversations with him using English and wanting me to reply in Russian. I
knew that the first couple of times a teacher had overheard us we got some
strange looks but it didn’t seem to bother Misha so I didn’t let it get to me.
“Mind if I join
you?” A voice asked from behind me Going from the voice and the look on Misha’s
face I knew it had to be Jason.
“Sure, have a seat.”
I said while pointing to an empty chair.
{“Misha, I’d like to
introduce my brother Jason Alexandrovich”} I stated using the Russian honorific
of his name.
“Pleased to meet
you.”
“Like wise. Anyway
Ian what I wanted to talk to you about last weekend.”
“Italia” I said
cutting Jason off before he could say another word.
*“Why?”*
*“Because I could use
the practice.”* I said with a smile before translating what had just been said
into Russian.
*“Uh, right. Anyway,
I wanted to apologize about last weekend and was asked if you’d like to spend
the night this weekend if you didn’t have anything else planned.”*
*“Before I answer
that, whose idea was it yours or your aunt’s and uncle’s?”* I asked.
*“It started off as
my aunt’s but after thinking about it I felt that it was about time to return
the favor of all the times you’ve had me over”* came the reply as my brother
turned a bit red at this.
*“Let me check with
my parents, but I don’t see a problem at this point. I‘ll let you know in the
next day or two what the answer is.”* Jason nodded at this. The rest of lunch
was spent going over normal things. I think I surprised both Jason and Misha at
how well I was able to switch from one language to another.
“See, I told you
Ivan was telling the truth when he said that he wore diapers.” A voice said
loudly from behind Jason, Misha, and I while we were taking our lunch trays up
to the window to drop them off. Placing a hand on Misha’s shoulder to keep him
from doing anything, as I turned around.
“And this matters to
you why?” I asked.
“Uh, sorry, it was
our mistake, sorry.” the other boy said hurriedly as he grabbed his friend’s
arm and dragged him away before anything else could be said.
{“Ivan better watch
his ass when I see him next.”} Misha muttered darkly as we walked away with
most of the people around us watching us. I knew right then that most of the
school would know about this by the end of the day.
“Misha, do yourself
a favor and don’t do anything. Just let your aunt know about it when you get
home and let her handle it.” I said with a small grin. I knew almost for
certain how she would handle this. Apparently, Misha did as well going off the
grin he had on his face.
“OK, ladies and
gentlemen. I’ve been sitting on a little surprise for you this afternoon. If
you remember, last week I asked you to write down jobs that you’d be interested
in learning more about. Well I’ve spent the last few days talking to people in
those fields and I’ve arranged to have some people come in and talk to you
about them and where possible they’ve set up a small demonstration. So, get
your coats and follow me.” We were told by our teacher shortly after returning
from lunch.
“I wonder what
they’re going to be showing us?”
“I couldn’t begin to
tell you but it’ll be interesting to find out.” I answered.
“Oh, this could get
to be interesting. “ I said with a smile as we stopped near a roped off area
and saw a police officer and dog waiting nearby.
“Is that who I think
it is?”
“Yep, it is. I just
hope he doesn’t get a hold of my scent or things could get exciting.”
“Tell me about it.”
“OK, listen up. I’d
like to introduce you to Sgt. Ortiz and his partner for this afternoon Officer
Heinrich. I want you all to give your undivided attention to Sgt. Ortiz.”
“Thank you Mr. Perez.
I’d like to start off by giving you some background information about the K-9
corp.” Sgt. Ortiz said by way of introduction. This started a twenty minute
lecture of what he did during a normal shift.
“Now before I start
the demonstration, I need to insist that none of you make any sudden noises or
movement. To do so could cause Officer Heinrich to think that you’re trying to
attack and respond to it in kind. Understood?” We were asked . After getting
most of us nodding our heads, the demonstration started.
“ think fast, diaper
boy.” I heard someone whisper into my ear before I felt myself being roughly
pushed forward. Before I could stop, I stumbled forward several feet and fell
flat on my face. As, I’m sure the person was hoping, Heinrich saw this and
reacted to his training after a sense.
Before anyone really
knew what was going on, Heinrich had steamrolled Sgt. Ortiz, jumped over me,
and had the person that had pushed me pinned to the ground and was snarling at
him.
“Well don’t just
stand there give me a hand!”
Getting up, I took
my time walking over to them. I started laughing when I saw that it was Ivan
that was pinned to the ground.
“Well, C’mon. A hand
would be nice.”
“OK if you insist.”
I said before I started clapping.
“Ian!”
“Oh, all right.
Killjoy.” I said before switching to German.
“Heinrich, Come!” I
called. As I knew he would, Heinrich responded after a few more seconds
“Sit.” I said once
he was standing beside me.
“Good boy.” I said
scratching him behind an ear. A somewhat dazed Sgt. Ortiz came up a few seconds
later and started to grab for Heinrich’s collar. This caused his hand to get
snapped at.
“Heel!” I responded
sternly while thumping Heinrich on the top of his head.
“You go see to Ivan.
I’ll get Heinrich back into the car.” I said before giving Heinrich a few
commands of my own and started taking off at a dead run, with Heinrich fast on
my heels. I had almost made it to the car when I felt my legs go out from under
me, and had Heinrich use my back as a springboard to jump through the open back
window. I was still on the ground laughing my head off when Mr. Perez and the
other officer came up to see if I was okay.
“I’ll get you next
time and no cheating then either.” I chuckled to Heinrich once I had been
helped to my feet and had gotten my breath back.
“God, Miller. Give
everyone a heart attack why don’t you.” Mr. Perez said as we headed back to
where the class was standing.
“What I was just
having a bit of fun. I would have won to if he hadn’t cheated.”
“You call that a bit
of fun. He could have seriously hurt you.”
“Nah, we were just
playing around a bit. Besides it wasn’t any worse the last time. Ask
“Well, You and
“Ivan, I don’t know
what kind of joke you were trying to pull out there but you’ve gone over the
line.” I told him once we were out of earshot of everyone else.
“Who cares what you
think. I’m going to make sure that damned mutt is put down for this; he’s a
menace. And I already know that you won’t be able to do a thing to me either.”
I was told shakily.
“Oh, I wasn’t going
to do anything to you except let your aunt know about what you had done.
Besides with the number of people that had seen you push me I doubt anyone
“What’s going on
with you boys now?” the nurse asked when she saw mine and Ivan’s grass stained
clothes.
“Oh, it’s nothing.
Just a small misunderstanding during class. Though Ivan here is going to need a
change of pants.” I said with a chuckle as I walked over to get changed myself.
“I guess Heinrich
really did scare the crap out of him.” I told
“Ian, Mrs. Allison
would like to see you in her office.
“Mrs. Allison wanted
to see me.” I told her secretary a few seconds later.
“You can go on in.
They’re waiting for you.” I was told. With a nod, I walked over to the door and
knocked. Once I was in the room and had closed the door behind me I took notice
of everyone that was in the room. I wasn’t to surprised to see Mr. Perez and
Sgt. Ortiz. Though seeing Ivan and his aunt sitting in did take me back for a
second.
“I’m sure you can
figure out why you’re here Mr. Miller.” I was told after having taken a seat.
“Yes, Ma’am.” I
replied.
“Perhaps you can
clear up some of the things that have been discussed.”
“I’ll try.” I said
as I started in on my version of what had happened.
“That’s a lie!” Ivan
stated heatedly about twenty minutes later.
“Quiet!” Ivan was
told sharply by his aunt.
“I agree with your
aunt, Mr. Romanov. After hearing everything that’s been said so far, I’m more
inclined to believe Mr. Miller’s version of what’s happened. From what Mr.
Perez and Sgt. Ortiz said half the people that saw the incident were saying you
pushed Ian and the other half are saying he tripped I’m not going to do
anything. I’ll leave any punishment given to you to your guardians. Ian you can
head back to class.”
“Yes ma’am.” I said
as I go to my feet. As I got to the door, I turned back and started talking to
Ivan’s aunt.
{“If possible you
might want have a talk with Misha before you leave it seems that word has
gotten out about his condition.”} I told her with a pointed look towards Ivan
who turned a bright red. His aunt did as well but for a different reason.
“Thank you Ian. I’ll
handle that as well. You get back to class now.” Mrs. Romanov told me while
giving her nephew a truly evil look.
“Yes ma’am” I said
before leaving the room.
Twenty minutes
later, Ivan walked back into our class room sporting a very noticeable diaper
bulge in his pants. I didn’t say anything as he walked past me. Though I did
let him see the large smirk I had on my face.
“Ian, a package was
dropped off for you while you were at school. I took the liberty of placing up
in your room.” Anita told me when Brad and I walked into the house after
getting dropped off from our Kendo class.
(“Thanks Anita.”) I
replied as I walked past her. Anita just smiled at this. I guess she was
starting to get used to my using Spanish around her. Once I had grabbed a
bottle of water, I headed up to my room to see what the package was.
Once I had the box
opened, I saw that there was a smaller box and letter inside of it. After a
moments thought I decided to read the letter first to see if it help some clue
as to what the other box held.
Ian,
I’m
sorry I’m unable to present this gift to you in person. I found this a few days
back while I was getting things organized around the house. Your uncle used to
wear this when he would get invitations to costume parties. I never found out
where he got it from. I do know that the first time his mother saw him wearing
it scared her half to death. Of course it did the same to his sisters. The time
you spent with me made me see how much I missed having him around. In a lot of
ways, you remind me a great deal of him. That is why I felt that you’d like to
have this.
Love,
Gramps
I didn’t even realize I was crying as I
finished reading the letter my grandfather had sent with the costume. As I laid
the letter down and wiped my eyes, it hit me that I couldn’t recall ever having
been told that I had an uncle from my step-mom’s side of the family. I decided
to send off an e-mail to my grandfather’s attorney to see if he knew anything
about this. Once I was done sending the e-mail, I went to see what was in box.
I started chuckling
once I had everything out of the box and spread out on my bed. On seeing how
detailed the mask and gloves were that went with the costume I could see how my
step-mom and her sister would get scared by seeing the costume being worn.
Especially, if they weren’t expecting it.
“So Ian, I hear that
you had a little excitement at school today?” My aunt commented when I came
back downstairs after changing out of my school clothes.
“A little bit. Yes
ma’am.” I responded while looking at
“
“Well, other than
that how was your day?”
“Not bad, Jason
asked if I wanted to have a sleepover this coming weekend. I told him that I
didn’t see a problem but I was going to need to ask you and Uncle
“I think that it’s a
good idea for you to go since everyone else has something planned. Now all we
have to do is get you a costume set up.”
“Actually, that’s
already been taken care of. My grandfather sent me one of my uncle’s old
costumes. So I was going to wear that.”
“I didn’t know you
had any uncle’s on your step-mother’s side.”
“I didn’t know
either. I hope you don’t mind but I sent an e-mail off to my grandfather’s
attorney to get some information about him.”
“No, I don’t see a
problem with that. I just hope you don’t get you hopes up about what he may be
like.”
“I won’t.”
“OK, well go on
outside and join your brothers. I’ll call you guys when dinner is ready.” I was
told as I felt a light slap being applied to my rear.
“Boys, once dinner
is over I want you to go get cleaned up and get dressed into your costumes”
Jason’s uncle announced half way through dinner.
“
“I’m not sure if
Father Paul would like them very much but why not. He did ask that costumes
have some sort of relation to a story from the bible if you wanted to be in the
contest.” Jason’s uncle said with a smile.
“We normally go to a
party set up by our church. Mom and dad feel it’s safer that way.” Seamus added
when he saw my lost expression.
“Oh OK.” The
remaining time for dinner was filled in by Jason and his cousins filling me in
on the activities that were normally held at the party.
“C’mon boys hurry up
or we’re going to be late.” Jason’s aunt yelled as I came out of
“Ian, I’ve taken the
liberty of placing a couple of your diapers in
“That’s fine. Thank
you for thinking of it.” I said as I walked into Jason’s room.
“This is going to be
great. I haven’t been able to wear this costume for a couple of years. My dad
had a fit last time I tried it on.” I was told as Jason started to pull some
pants up. I got two quick shocks before I started getting dressed myself. First
was the fact that Jason was wearing some pull-ups and second was when I saw the
rest of the costume in question laying out on his bed. I started laughing after
a few seconds.
“What’s so funny?”
“You’ll find out” I
replied as I started pulling out the pieces of my own costume and putting them
on.
“Boys, I want you to
get fully dressed so your mom can get a picture for the scrap book.” Mr. Murphy
yell as Jason and I finished getting dressed.
“
“You don’t know the
half of it.” I thought to myself thinking back to the package I had gotten from
my grandfather’s attorney the day before.
“Jesus.” Mr. Murphy
muttered as he backed up and sat down hard on the couch behind him when he saw
me coming down the hall.
“
“It’s nothing. He’s
just in a bit of shock about seeing my costume.” I answered seeing how Mr.
Murphy was still speechless.
“How could seeing a
costume put someone in shock?”
“Because I haven’t
seen that particular costume in over twenty years.” came the shaky answer as
Mr. Murphy finally found himself able to speak.
“You mean that’s the
costume that..” Jason’s aunt started to ask before getting cut off by her
husband.
“Exactly.”
“The costume that
what?” Jason asked in confusion not getting the looks on his aunt’s and uncle’s
faces.
“The costume my uncle
was wearing when he died.” I answered bluntly. This statement caused Jason’s
uncle to jump like he had just been shocked.
“Yeah, I know all
about what happened. After I read the note my grandfather had sent with the
costume I contacted his lawyer to find out more about the uncle I never knew I
had. I got the response back yesterday. In fact, a letter came back with it. I
think you might be interested in it.” I said as I walked over to him and handed
him a letter that my grandfather had written some years before.
“Let’s go out to the
car and give you dad a few minutes alone.” Jason’s aunt said while herding us
all toward the front door. Mr. Murphy came out a few minutes later and without
saying a word climbed into the car. The trip to the church was a silent one.
“This could get
interesting.” I whispered to Jason as we pulled into the church’s parking lot
and saw all the people standing around some in costume and some not.
“I want you boys to
behave yourselves. I won’t hesitate to take you home if any problems arise is
that understood?” we were all told by Jason’s aunt. We all nodded our
understanding as we opened our doors to get out of the car.
“Ian, I’ll be down
the hall by the classrooms if you need me.” I was told as we headed into the
building.
“So, I see that you
have an extra person with you tonight.” an older gentleman commented to Jason’s
uncle when we walked into the building.
“Yes we do. Ian,
could you come over here for a minute?” Mr. Murphy called as the rest of the
headed down some nearby stairs.
“Yes sir?”
“Father O’Malley,
I’d like to introduce you to Ian Miller, Jason’s older brother.” Mr. Murphy
said in introduction. Trying to be as cordial as possible I removed the hood of
the robes I had on and stuck my hand out.
“Father.” I said
respectfully. The Father said something I didn’t understand then I realized his
reaction was from the mask I had on.
“Sorry about that.”
I said as I removed the mask. The reaction this time was one I’d come to expect
from people that knew Jason but were meeting me for the first time.
“Sorry, Father. I
guess I forgot to mention that Jason and Ian are twins.” Jason’s uncle said
with a slight grin.
“It’s quite all
right. I was just taken aback for a moment. I’m pleased to meet you Ian.”
“Likewise sir” I replied.
“Go ahead and join
everyone else Ian, there’s something I need to talk to the Father about in
private.” I was told. Knowing what it was probably concerning I just nodded at
this as I put the mask back on and pulled the hood back up. After taking my
leave of Mr. Murphy and Fr. O’Malley, I headed downstairs to join everyone
else.
“What was that all
about?” Jason asked me when I finally joined back up with them.
“Your uncle wanted
to introduce me to Fr. O’Malley. Though I’m not sure which startled him more me
with my mask on or off.” I said with a chuckle.
“Both I bet. Well,
enough standing around let’s go have some fun.”
Several hours later
the party was starting to wind down. I have to say that I was glad that I had
come with them. Even better was the fact that I only needed to stop to get
changed once. Though that was kind of embarrassing since I ended up getting
changed on one of the changing tables in the Nursery. Even better was the fact
that Jason, Seamus, Alex, and I managed to win First place in the Religion
category of the costume contest, and Second place over all.
“Once we get home, I
want you boys to get out of those costumes and get ready for bed.” We were told
as we climbed back into the car to head home.”
“But, it’s only
“I didn’t say you
had to go to bed. I just want you to get ready for bed.” his mom replied.
“You won’t need the
pants if you don’t want to wear them.” Jason informed me after I had come back
from getting my night diaper put on by his aunt and started putting on the
sleep pants I had brought with me.
“What do you mean? I
figured your aunt and uncle would insist on pants being worn from what you told
me of your parents.”
“Yeah, but that’s my
parents. My aunt and uncle are a lot more lax about that. My cousins and I
normally go around in just our underwear or diapers after we get ready for bed.
Feel free to dress how you’re most comfortable though.”
“OK, thanks.” I said
as I took the pants off and replaced them with a shirt that only cover about
the top third of the diaper I had on. Jason I saw did the same. This didn’t
surprise me though because this was how he normally dressed for bed when he
stayed over at my place. In fact, I was kind of surprised at how much he had
loosened up over the past couple of months.
“Well, lets go see
what movie they decided to put in for tonight.” I was told as my brother walked
out of the room.
I got a bit of a
shock when I walked into the family room to find that Seamus and Andrew were
both wearing just a pair of briefs, while, Alex was wearing a pair of what I
soon recognized as a pair of Jordon Sleep Briefs. I raised an eyebrow towards
Jason when I saw those.
“Yeah, Alex still
has some problems at night. He’s a bit like Brad in that he doesn’t like wearing
full diapers. I have to say that my aunt was happy when she found those pants
since Alex tended to max out the GoodNites he used to wear.” Jason whispered. I
just nodded at this knowing what he meant. I was a bit shocked that he knew
about Brad wearing the sleep briefs since Brad tended to keep them covered up
anytime we had someone sleeping over. I guess after seeing
I guess at some
point I must have fallen asleep since I woke up the next morning with
All of us boys ended
up just lounging around the house in our skivies since we couldn’t go out due
to the weather. I did notice that Alex had decided to keep wearing his Jordon
pants for the day. Megan picked me up later that afternoon. I think she was a
bit surprised to see the state of dress, or maybe I should say undress we all
were in when she arrived. Jason kept saying how glad he was that he had finally
had me over as he helped me pack. This one weekend was the turning point in our
relationship when he finally realized that I couldn’t care less about how much
money his aunt and uncle had just as long as he was happy.
