Babies Don’t Go to School 2
Summary: When fourteen-year-old Andrew Johnston was nine years old his
mom treated his as a baby because he was sick and he stayed that way
until he was in 8th grade.
"Andrew, get up!" Mrs. Johnston said.
"Mom, I don't feel good," Andrew moaned. Mrs. Johnston put her hand on
Andrew's head.
"Honey, you should stay home; you feel warm. Stay home today. I'll be
right back. I have to take Alyssa and Samantha to school," she said as
she left. Andrew just lay there. He didn't want to go to school because
people made fun of him for being short. Andrew had, Turner's Syndrome,
which made him mature at a slower rate than a normal child. Andrew was
only 3'4" and 78.5 lbs. which made him an ideal target for bullies.
Andrew had a couple friends but one moved to Canada and the others were
in different homerooms than Andrew.
Later, Andrew's mom came in holding a size 5 pampers.
"Mom, I’m fourteen and I don't need diapers!" Andrew said.
"This is so you don't have to get up," she said. Andrew allowed her to
diaper him. When she was done she carried him downstairs and placed him
in a highchair.
"Andrew, don't struggle. It’s easier for me to feed you so you don't
get it everywhere and make a mess," she said.
"Wow, moms have an answer to everything," Andrew thought. She fed him
cereal then gave him a bottle. Mrs. Johnston just cleaned up around the
house and set up a playpen for Andrew.
"Why do I have to go in there?" Andrew said expecting an answer.
"So I can keep an eye on you, and also, do you need a change?" she
said. Andrew nodded. She just took out a changing pad and had Andrew
undiapered and rediapered in a flash. Andrew just sat in the playpen
watching T.V., then he fell asleep. When he woke up he had Samantha
looking down at him. Andrew had twin sisters that were younger than him
but taller.
"Hey, little brother, how was your nap?" Sam asked him. Startled,
Andrew cried and his mom came over and picked him up.
"Shhh, it's okay. Mommy’s here, shhh." she said as she rocked him. He
settled down and his mom gave him to Alyssa.
"Hey, little bro," Allys said. Andrew just looked at her.
"Allys, give him this and clip it to his shirt," his mom said. Alyssa
clipped a pacificer on his shirt and put it in his mouth. Andrew just
sucked on it. Andrew thought he would have a carefree life as a baby.
Note: When he was nine years old his mom treated his as a baby for one
weekend when he was sick.
