Theories of hypnosis

          There are many skepticisms about hypnosis that are mainly created by stage hypnotists. A couple of the misconceptions would be this:

 

1.) You cant remember anything while in hypnosis = FALSE

Complete bull, everything you do while in hypnosis is completely voluntary. You can’t be hypnotized to go rob a bank and not remember it.

 

2.) You are in the complete control of the hypnotist when hypnotized. = FALSE

You can’t be hypnotized to do something that you don’t want to do. This is the biggest misconception about hypnosis.

 

3.) Hypnotism always works. =FALSE

I wish this was true, but you may find that you are not getting effects from hypnosis. One reason is that you get interrupted, which ruins this hypnosis. Another reason is that you have too large a goal. If you can, try to break down the goal into a couple of smaller goals. The third, and unfortunately, the most common, is that you only read the hypnosis script once. You need to read the second one once and write your goal, then whenever you can, once a day, read the third one with the goals you wrote. Keep reading the third one, and repeat until you get your desired effects.

 

4.) You feel blacked out when hypnotized = mostly FALSE

You don’t feel blacked out or gone under, when hypnotized. About 2% of the population are what are called a somnboulist, which is someone who is very susceptible to hypnotism. They reach a very deep level of hypnosis and the effects of hypnosis come faster and are much better. Again, if you happen to not be a somnboulist, don’t be discouraged. If you are, congratulations! You are very easy to hypnotize and you can do anything with hypnosis, almost.

 

The last thing that is important is this: don’t try to use hypnosis to dull pain. Pain is the way that the body tells you that something is wrong. If you break a leg, and don’t feel the pain because of hypnosis, you could walk on it and cause the break to compound, or to jut through the skin, which would be bad. This is just one example. Let me say this here:

 

If you do permanent damage to your body because of the hypnosis, it was because you didn’t follow the rules or had any common sense. Don’t think you can hypnotize yourself into a dangerous situation, like not waking up, and blame it on me. All problems you have because of this hypnosis are your entire fault for misusing this skill, not mine.

After reading this, you should be better aquatinted with hypnosis. You should be prepared to use the hypnosis scripts I have provided to Deeker’s. I hope you can finally live your desires

Hypnosis scrip

 

Read this script, between the asterisks, the first time, before you hypnotize yourself the first time

Feeling a sense of privacy and comfort, I allow the sound of my own voice to sooth my mind and body, while I speak slowly and softly. My body is slowing down as though everything is moving in slow motion. With every word I read and every sound I utter, I feel more relaxed and at peace. Moment by moment, my mind is becoming as clear as the surface of a calm and peaceful mountain lake.

            As my mind clears, I use my imagination to relax more deeply while I read. I imagine that I am sitting on a comfortable chair on a beautiful beach as I read. With my peripheral vision I see the golden sand that surrounds me… and the waves as they crash on the shore. I hear the gentle and rhythmic sounds they make.

            I feel a moist sea breeze waft over my body. I notice the warm sun on my skin. I feel its golden touch on my scalp, allowing me to let go of any excess tension there. All of my thoughts seem to quiet down now as I concentrate on the sun’s warmth on my face… on my cheeks… on my ears- and around my jaw

            The healing light seems to caress my neck and warm my throat, allowing the words to flow easily and effortlessly from my mouth. It feels as though hundreds of tiny fingers of light are massaging my shoulders and upper back as I relax – waves of warmth and relaxation cascade down… down my arms and out through my fingers.

            I mentally scan my hips, pelvis, and buttocks… and let any tension there be washed away by a stream of light. I become aware of my legs now… they are almost aglow as sunlight floods down through them. My legs feel so relaxed. Even my feet and toes feel warm and comfortable… warm and comfortable now.

            As I bask in the glorious sun, I imagine closing my eyes as I prepare to hypnotize myself. I draw 3 slow deep breaths (draw 3 deep breaths). For a few moments I can see the glow of orange light through through my closed eyelids. But now that light fades into a comforting darkness as I draw my attention inward… inward… towards the center of my mind

            I imagine that I am approaching a beautiful, tall, and modern building. I walk through the revolving doors into a beautiful lobby. Inside the building stands a strong, armed security guard who keeps the building safe from intruders. The guard looks at me with a steely glare but then recognizes me as the owner of the building. The guard works for me. I give the guard a satisfied nod and make my way toward the elevator.

I see the reflection of myself in the mirror like surface of the elevator doors. I look relaxed and sure of myself. I press the down arrow and the doors of the elevator open. I feel very safe as I step into a spacious and luxurious elevator car. I turn toward the panel of buttons which indicate the floor numbers. I press the number 10 to take me ten floors below the ground level. The number ten lights up and the elevator doors close. The elevator car begins to move down smoothly through the long, deep elevator shaft… with a very gentle humming sound. I watch the numbered lights above the door as they change. Each number lights up for a moment as the elevator moves past the indicated floor. As the numbers change… one by one… I feel myself descending to a wonderful place within myself… farther beneath the surface.

            One… I watch the numbers as the elevator moves down… I relax deeper with every number.

            Two… going down beneath the surface of this great structure… deeper beneath the surface.

            Three… by the time I reach the tenth number I will be deeply hypnotized.

            Four… I will be hypnotized with my eyes open… open to helpful suggestions.

            Five… I feel myself descending… smoothly… effortlessly. I feel deeper a peace.

            Six… still watching the number change above the door… one by one, as the elevator goes down

            Seven… going deeper now… feeling tranquil and very relaxed now.

            Eight… I am safe… I feel calm… going down… down… deeper down.

            Nine… I allow myself to easily enter hypnosis with my eyes open now.

            Ten… the elevator comes to a slow stop. I see the number ten light up above the door. I have arrived. I am now hypnotized.

            As the doors open, I enter a comfortably furnished reading room. A burning log in the fireplace crackles and blazes brightly, as though welcoming me into the chamber. I approach a very comfortable looking chair and sit down. I pick up a book on a small table next to the chair. I read the cover of the book which says Instant Self-Hypnosis. I open the book and begin to read. The words address me and seem to jump off the pages and into my mind. And here is what they say:

            You are now hypnotized with your eyes open. Every time you read an introduction from this book of Instant Self-Hypnosis, you automatically enter a relaxed state of body and mind. And each time you hypnotize yourself with Instant Self-Hypnosis, you will automatically go deeper into hypnosis than the time that came before. You will now awake from hypnosis by reading the ‘wake-up’

 

(The wake up)

I will awaken from hypnosis by counting to five, when I reach the number 5 I will become fully alert and wide-awake. One… beginning to awaken from hypnosis. Two… becoming aware of my surroundings… feeling satisfied, safe, and comfortable. Three… looking forward to positive results from this hypnosis session. Four… feeling optimistic and refreshed. FIVE… FIVE… FIVE… now wide-awake and fully alert.

Now read this script, and when u reach the lines, write out what u want to be hypnotized while following the instructions. Repeat once each day.

            You are now hypnotized with your eyes open. You are now highly suggestible. You will remain in hypnosis while you write the suggestions for your goal. Your mind is now clearing as you imagine the suggestions for your goal. The pen you use to write with is an extension of your focused will. You trust yourself to write excellent suggestions for yourself. You will now turn to your blank page.
