How to Create a Disposable Makeshift Diaper
A Temporary Solution for TB/DLs

Ages 6-12
Materials
-
Plastic shopping
bag (a regular size from Shoprite, Pathmark, Stop & Shop, Wal-Mart, Target,
etc.)
-
Duct tape or
packaging tape
-
Scissors
-
25-50 sheets of
paper towels
Directions:
i.
On the back of
the diaper, use the tape to make a backing (for support while the diaper is on.
ii.
Lie down on the
floor
iii.
Raise your
bottom slightly and slide the diaper underneath you and towards you
iv.
Center the back
of the diaper until it is slightly above your waistline
v.
Pull the front
of the diaper up to your crotch, make sure your penis is pointing downwards to
prevent leaks
vi.
Take the tape
and put some strips on the back to use as tapes for the diaper
vii.
When you have at
least 2 tapes on each side, pull on the tapes to the front of the diaper and
make sure it is snug, if you have an erection, make it tighter to prevent leaks
when urinating
viii.
Tape up both
sides
ix.
To make sure
that the diaper is secure, take the tape and wrap it around the diaper once.
x.
Proceed to step
8
i.
On the back of
the diaper, use the tape to make a backing (for support while the diaper is on.
ii.
Place the diaper
on a chair or other firm seat
iii.
Center your
bottom onto the diaper (make sure that the back of the diaper rises to at least
your waistline)
iv.
Lean back to
secure the back in place.
v.
Pull up the
front of the diapers to your crotch, make sure you penis is pointing downwards
to prevent leaks
vi.
Take the tape
and put some strips on the back to use as tapes for the diaper
vii.
When you have at
least 2 tapes on each side, pull on the tapes to the front of the diaper and
make sure it is snug, if you have an erection, make it tighter to prevent leaks
when urinating
viii.
Tape up both
sides
ix.
To make sure
that the diaper is secure, take the tape and wrap it around the diaper once

If you only wet
the diaper, you can carefully untape the diaper or rip the sides off
ii.
Make sure that
the paper towels do not fall out or any pee leaks
iii.
Using paper
towels or toilet paper, wipe your butt, butt crack, and groin area
iv.
Put the soiled
paper towels or toilet paper into the diaper
v.
Roll up the
diaper (front first) and tuck in the sides to prevent leaks
vi.
Use the tapes
from the diaper to tape it up (to keep it from unrolling)
vii.
Dispose of it in
your trash can (do not keep the soiled diaper inside the house for an excess of
2 days or else bacteria will form)
viii.
Proceed to Step

i.
For wet and
messy diapers, carefully untape the diaper or rip the sides off
ii.
Make sure that
the paper towels and mess is contained within the diaper (if anything falls
out, use a paper towel and put it back into the diaper
iii.
Using paper
towels or toilet paper, wipe your butt, butt crack, and groin area thoroughly
to prevent rashes and other health problems (if your butt is really messy, it
is recommended that you take a shower)
iv.
Put the soiled
paper towels or toilet paper into the diaper
v.
Roll up the
diaper (front first) and tuck in the sides to prevent leaks
vi.
Use the tapes
from the diaper to tape it up (to keep it from unrolling)
vii.
Dispose of it in
your trash can (do not keep the soiled diaper inside the house for an excess of
6 hours or else bacteria will form)
viii. Proceed to Step 10
i.
If you didn’t
use it, you can save it for later, make sure you keep it well hidden
ii.
When you want to
use it again, repeats steps 6 to 9, however it is recommended that you dispose
of a clean one to prevent the spread of any diseases or infection
iii.

Ages 13-17
Warning:

Materials
-
Large plastic
shopping bag (Wal-Mart, Target, Kohl’s, Sears, etc.)

Duct tape or
packaging tape

100-150 sheets
of paper towels
Suggestions:
-
you can use baby
diapers underneath the paper towels between steps 4 and 5 to increase your
absorbency
-
to increase the
effectiveness, you can use two bags (the bottom bag will be lined with paper
towels and the bag on top will have slits and paper towels on top to increase
absorbency)
1) Directions:
2) Make sure the shopping bags does not have any holes
3) Using the scissors cut the shopping bag starting from
the handles down (from the middle) to near the bottom of the bag (not all the
way to the bottom).
4) Open up the bag with the store name on the outside,
the front would have the store name and the back should have no print
5) Use the paper towels and fold them like an accordion
until you line up the bag.
6) If you want, you can secure the paper towels to the
bag by applying a thin strip to secure it in place
7) Take off your clothes
8) Diaper Procedure:
a. To diaper yourself while laying down:
i.
On the back of
the diaper, use the tape to make a backing (for support while the diaper is on.
ii.
Lie down on the
floor
iii.

9) Now you can use it (should hold 2-3 wettings,
depending on your bladder size, it would also be able to hold 1 messing or 1
case of diarrhea

11) Your all done
12) Make sure you wash your hands to prevent getting sick
13) If the diaper begins to smell, spray the garbage with
air freshener or put the soiled diaper outside in a concealed place and dispose
of it on garbage day (if you do this, watch out for rodents, bugs, and mold as
they will form over a prolonged period of time)
Make sure that you put back all the supplies you have
taken in case your parents don’t know about this. Also, you can conceal the
noise of the shuffling when you walk with underwear briefs (or boxer briefs)
