My sister had been put in charge for the weekend, since my mom was away. My sister invited a good friend of hers over, and then, before bedtime, came into my room with her friend and told me she told her friend all about my bedwetting and removing diapers and that I got spanked for doing this. She then proceeded to show her friend my plastic sheet, diapers, and plastic pants, and told me unless they wanted all my friends to know about it, I would undergo my punishment in front of her friend. I never felt so humiliated in my life as the spanking had been a more closed family thing.

Bedwetting and having to wear diapers til 14 years old definitely had a great effect socially, emotionally, and sexually. It became a very big part of my life growing up, and something I tried all the time to keep secret.

Tony	33	It was hard at first. I know I had been bad and I wanted to get attention. The spanking never bothered me. I just wanted attention. Later I knew I couldn't stop and I was upset about that. When I went to the special school, things got better. I respect my Dad for how he handled me and I underswtand how frustrating I must have been. The spankings never stopped my wetting, but without them, I ouwd have needed to be in diapers 24/7. The spankings limited wetting to five or six times a week (some less and some more). I like structure as an adult and I am sure it is part of my upbringing. Dad and I still talk about all of this as adults. He is a good man and I love him.
