Deeker	35	I had outgrown my diapers and my training pants, but I was still having frequent poop accidents, so my mom put me in a bunch of my plain white underpants. They looked like diapers and felt like them. The next-door neighbor lady who babysat me also did this to me.

So her frind produced some towels for diapers inside my plastic pants. I was in a T shirt and plastic pants when her 12 year old daugher walked in on us. I started to wet the towels as they watched and commented how I was a real diaper soaker.

		i layed a plastic bag down on the floor and got a paper towel roll and cut out a third of it(1/2 inch) to lay down on the plastic then i rolled the middle in on both sides to make a better fit then put it on like a disposable or i would use a towel first i would fold it in the T fold then fold the front again to make more stuff and then pinnned on
Chandler	17	I made diapers out of paper towels and either clear plastic wrap or white kitchen garbage bags.
		Used old towels, pillow cases and old torn up sheets. Then would wrap a piece of plastic, like an old shower curtain over top of them. I used this method until I purchased Gerber Toddler Vinyl Pants.

They contained the poop nicely since they went up high on my back, there was plenty of space in the seat and the crotch was wide. The thickness helped to absorb wet, messy diarrhea and contain the smell somewhat.

Loring	39	These diapers were more like underwear and didn't function as diapers too well. They were made from all plastic and had no absorbent materials inside. However, since I tied them on fairly tight, I would get a diaper that did not leak. Sometimes, with the multiple layering, pee would get between the layers and be somewhat absorbent. Occasionally, I stuffed toilet paper inside. I did not do this too much since it got messy.

My frequent poop accidents was the reason I was kept "diapered" this way.

Loring	39	The main reason for making makeshift diapers was because I outgrew childrens' diapers at an early age. My want for wearing diapers (makeshift or otherwise) is because of an early awareness of wearing and using cloth diapers and plastic panties as a toddler in the late 60's. I was kept in originally kept in diapers until the age of 3-1/2+ years of age. By the time I was 8 and 9, those memories became overwhelming and I started experimenting with all- plastic makeshift diapers. The thing I remember most was the plastic panties I wore. That lead me into developing a plastic panty/underwear/makeshift diaper fetish at an early age, one that I have to this day. Even at the age of a toddler, I found my plastic panties very erotic. I also remember how erotic it was to use my cloth diapers too. I also saw younger diaper-age boys and was jealous of them, wanting to get back into diapers. There were those diaper commercials that did it too.

Deeker	35	I don't know if my mom came up with the idea on her own or got it from my babysitter. There were no web sites back then, and I doubt my mom would have gotten this idea from a parenting magazine. Perhaps she just figured that diapers were just like underwear, but thicker.

The laughed at me because I couldn't wear any pants and had to go around like this a lot.
