Zack's Baby Weekend – Prologue

Zack Miller, a brownish red haired, green-eyed boy, was born 9
years ago to Jack Miller, a sales rep for a hobby company and Mary
Ellen (Sall) Miller, an ex-teacher. Zane was loved by his parents and
he was happy. As Zack was growing up, he was introduced to swimming,
sports and camping by his parents. He was potty-trained by 29 months
and by the time he was 4, he stopped sleepwetting.
Unfortunately, when Zack was 5 and a half, his dad was killed by
a drunk driver. Both he and his mom were sad, but they survived. That
fall, when Zack was 6, he went to Kindergarten and his mom got him a
'Big Brother', and Mary Ellen went to work at an office.
Zack was happy at kindergarten, making friends - Chris and Tanner
Hazeley, David Pytel, Darby Buxton, Ilar Beynon, Jose Salvador, Greg
Matz, Conner Ford, Clay and Flint Johnson and Troy Mattern were friends
from his neighborhood, Brambling Brook, a middle class area of modest
homes built in the late 1960s, which a stream - Beaver Brook - flows
through. Their school, Beaverbrook, was a short walk from their homes,
so they walked to school with one of the mom watching them.
Zack was happy with his big brother, too. He and Robert Rumley,
his BIG, were into swimming, NASCAR racing, woodworking - since Robert
was a homebuilder, gardening - Zack helped Robert garden his mom's
house and he helped out gardening at Robert's house, camping, boating
and fishing.
Robert and Mary Ellen fell in love after Robert was Zack's BIG
for a year and a half. Robert never told Mary Ellen that he wasn't
perfect - he was a bedwetter. Robert was a bit shy about the fact - not
because of it - but because his ex left him when their son, Geoff, had
the same problem, so Robert decided not to say anything to Mary Ellen.
Since Robert was Zack's BIG, Geoff loved Zack as a brother. On
nights Zack spend nights, Geoff were in 'GoodNites' in the guest room,
but Geoff hid a secret from Zack, even though Zack was one of his best
friends and Zack, who had many neighborhood friends, had Geoff as a
friend.
One night, Geoff, who was in his crib, said to Robert, "I like
Zack, but I hope he'll like me even when I tell him that I love to be
babied. I hope, Mary Ellen doesn't get upset with me being a baby. Did
the stuff from Yaworsky's come in?"
In the Miller house, Zack was in his pj's and went to bed. During
the night, he wet his bed. When he woke up, he was upset, vowing never
to wet his bed. 'Jeez,' he thought to himself, 'If Robert or Geoff or
my schoolmate knew I wet - I would be laughed at. Robert would hate
me!'
He stripped his bed and took the sheets to the laundry. He told
his mom about his accident, but his mom said it happens, so Mary Ellen
wasn't mad. Zack sat down at the table and had his breakfast, then went
to get ready for school. Soon, Zack was going out the door with his
buddy, Conner Ford, waiting for him.
After school Zack came home, did his chores and started his
homework. Soon, Mary Ellen came home and they had dinner. Zack,
finished his homework watched TV and then he got ready for bed. He made
sure his bladder was EMPTY, and went to bed.
The next morning, he woke up dry. He was happy, so that night he
didn't think twice about it. 'I had a feeling it was an accident,' Zack
thought. Tonight, Robert was taking him out for McDonald's and mini-
golfing, so Zack wouldn't tell Robert about the accident. He was happy,
came downstairs with a spring in his step and ate his breakfast. At the
door was Conner, so Zack went to brush his teeth and headed to school
with Conner. As usual, they met Darby, Ilar, Jose and Greg so they were
talking - except, Ilar wasn't talking much, which was unusual. Usually,
you couldn't get Ilar to shut up.
The day went quickly for Zack, but one of his classmates had a
bad day, as he wet his pants while in front of the class - the boy,
Ryker Bowlan, was doing a math problem, when it happened. Some of the
class laughed, but Zack, Ilar, Conner and 9 other classmates didn't.
Ryker, ran from the room, as he was embarrassed.
After school, he walked home with Ilar and Conner. They were
talking about the day, except for Ryker's accident. When Zack got to
his house, Zack said, "See you guys tomorrow. Robert's taking me and
Geoff to the mini-golf place." Zack then unlocked the door and went in.
Before Robert came, he did his homework and did his chores.
Robert and Geoff, on the way to Zack's house were just talking.
Robert said, "Have you decided yet, son? I won't force you. I know it
is difficult. Your mom hated me when I gave you it. I think Mary Ellen
would not be as upset, but I am scared to tell her."
Geoff, an orangy-red haired green eyed boy, of 8, 4 months
younger than Zack, said, "No, I didn't. How can you say to your best
friend that you are a baby? I might ask Deeker about that. Dad, do you
mind if I write a story for Deeker?"
"Nope, I don't mind. Just do your homework." Robert turned onto
Towhee Road, the street where the Miller's lives, to pick up Zack.
Robert looked at Geoff and said, "I'm a lucky guy. I think Zack'll love
you - and so will Mary Ellen. Are you going to tell him?"
"Not yet. Do you think we could boat and overnight at Sand
Island?" Geoff looked at his dad. "I might put a few diapers in my
diaper bag and place them in the aft cabin."
"In a few weeks, ok? Should we invite Mary Ellen, too? I need to
tell her." Robert said, as he turned into the driveway of a 3 bedroom
bluish green vinyl sided colonial. As soon as Robert turned into the
driveway, Mary Ellen drove up.
Mary Ellen got out of her old Ford Escort and walked to Robert's
Chrysler Sebring convertible. When she got there, Zack was already out
of the house and at the car. Mary Ellen kissed Robert and said, "Have
fun, my dears! Zack, did you clean up your room?" Mary Ellen and Robert
were talking about their day, while Zack and Geoff were talking about
school."
Robert took him out to McDonald's, then a game of mini-golf and
an ice cream cone. Zack was tired when he got back to his house. He
went to bed and he woke up wet.

Zack's Baby Weekend - Chapter 1

When he woke up, Zack was wet again. Zack stripped the sheets
from his bed and took them to the laundry room. Again, his mom wasn't
too worried, so Zack was happy that his mom didn't yell. He went to
school and Ilar and Conner both were not talking. Of course, Zack
didn't want to say anything either.
At school, Zack had a good day, so when it was over, he went home
and did his chores and homework. He went to bed and when Zack woke up
dry.
Since Zack started to sleepwet three weeks ago, at first it was
one or two nights, then the second week it was 4 times, but this week
it was every night. Zack was upset and so was Mary Ellen. One morning,
after Zack left for school, Mary Ellen called up Robert to talk to him.
Mary Ellen told Robert about Zack wetting, so Robert said, "Dear,
whatever is happening to Zack, it isn't a big deal, to me. Zack is
still a great boy."
Mary Ellen sighed and said, "I'm not sure if I should punish
Zack. I guess I should take him to the doctor. He is wetting more."
Robert said, "Don't punish him. Did he have anything to drink
after dinner last night? Was he tired this morning?"
Mary Ellen said, "He was a little tired. Zack didn't have
anything to drink after dinner."
Robert said, "He's trying. Why not pick up some 'GOODNITES' for
him? That is what Geoff wears at night!" 'That's when Zack is here - or
diapers, when Zack isn't overnighting,' Robert thought to himself.
"Dear," Robert said, "I have to get going. Will you call me tonight?
Just think about 'GoodNites' for Zack."
Mary Ellen was shocked, "Geoff is a sleepwetter? I didn't know he
was. I think he will think I'm punishing him. I was going to buy him a
new mattress, but if he is wetting, I don't think he wants a new one to
ruin."
"'GOODNITES' won't be a punishment, dear. Not doing anything is a
punishment," Robert said. "Tell him sleepwetting is more common. Geoff
knows he isn't alone. Want me to talk to him?"
"Honey," Mary Ellen said, "If Zack knew I was telling you, he
would know that you'd think that he is -."
"He would think I would hate him because I would think he is a
baby," Robert said. "No, I would tell him that he isn't the only one."
Robert sighed, then said, "I want him to know that he is a great kid -
with a small problem. Call me tonight. Steve and James have a meeting
to get to."
Mary Ellen sighed and said, "Okay, honey. I love you. I need to
get going too. There's a rumor around the office that we are moving. I
love it here. I love you and Geoff, dear." She hung up the phone. Mary
Ellen was happy that Robert was NOT upset about Zack's sleepwetting.
After Robert hung up the phone, he was dressed to go to the
meeting. Robert was a co-owner of 'Quality Homes', a large homebuilder
in the area. Yesterday, Robert and his partners received a buy out
offer from a large national homebuilder, so they are thinking of taking
it. Today, they are meeting with their attorney about the offer.
'Maybe I'll start the furniture company,' Robert thought. 'I know
Yaworsky's would like to buy some. It will be tough, but Geoff and Zack
could model for it. I still have to tell Mary Ellen that I sleepwet,
too. I might invite Sky and Parnell over.' Robert picked up his keys
and drove to his attorney.
Mary Ellen went to work, but yes the rumor was true. The office
she works in will be consolidating with another office 50 miles away.
Mary Ellen didn't want to uproot Zack, so in 3 months, she'll be
unemployed. It was a long day for Mary Ellen, because on the way home,
she was hit in the rear, wrecking her car. She wasn't in the best of
mood when she got home.
Zack, cooked the leftovers they had in the freezer, so they ate
and had dinner. After the dishes were dry, they went to the sofa to
talk. Mary Ellen said, "Zack, I hope you know I'm not mad at you for
wetting. You are still my son and I love you. Would you like to try
something tonight?"
Before Zack could answer, the phone rang. On the caller ID it was
from Robert, so Zack picked it up. "Hello, Robert!" Zack said.
"Hi, buddy," Robert said. "Is your mom there?"
Zack gave the phone to Mary Ellen and waited. Mary Ellen said,
"Dear, I'll call you in a few. I just want to talk to Zack about
something." She paused and then said, "Yes, it is difficult. I need to
find a job. I'll call you back soon." She hung up the phone, looked at
Zack and said, "Would you like to try something tonight? It might help
you, love."
Zack asked, "What do you suggest, mom?"
"'GoodNites,'" Mary Ellen said. She showed him the package and
said, "I hope you'll try these. Don't worry, no one will kid you."
Zack said, "Hope not. Ryker gets kidded about his wetting. I hope
I'll never wet in front of the class. Today, I told Danny that I can't
sleep over his house this weekend. I don't want my friends to know that
I pee like a baby. Robert and Geoff will hate me if they knew." Zack
took the package and went to get ready for bed.
Mary Ellen dialed Robert, while Zack was getting ready for bed.
Geoff, dressed in his cloth diapers and his pale green footed
pjs, answered the phone. He saw it was Mary Ellen, so he said, "Hello
Mary Ellen! Want to talk to dad?" Geoff handed the phone to his dad and
took his bottle and started his story for Deeker.
Mary Ellen told Robert that Zack accepted the 'GoodNites', but
they were talking about Mary Ellen's office closing, her accident and
the buyout of 'QualityHomes', then the subject of Zack and his
sleepwetting came up.
Robert asked, "I want you and Zack to go boating this weekend. I
think Zack needs to know he is not the only one. Geoff was worried
about Zack finding out that he was a sleepwetter. Geoff would like to
help Zack."
After a short pause, Robert said, "Dear, you should know that I'm
a sleepwetter, too. I hope I didn't mess up, because you are loveable.
I like diapers and I'm an AB." He heard Mary Ellen asking him what an
AB was, so Robert said, "An AB is an ADULT BABY, someone who likes to
be a baby. I wear diapers at night, because I am still a bedwetter.
Zack, should know if -." Robert stopped talking.
"You are a sleepwetter?" Mary Ellen asked. "You are a special
person, Robert. Do you think I'd break up just for that? I bet you are
cute in diapers."
Robert laughed and said, "I am. Maybe Zack would like diapers and
become a TB, which is a TEEN BABY. He wouldn't be alone. Geoff is!"
"What do you mean, honey?" Mary Ellen asked.
"Zack wouldn't be the only teen baby on the planet, dear. Beside
Geoff, around 5 million kids - including my nephews - are sleepwetters,
and some love to get babied by their parents. Some are babied a small
bit, and some are babied 100%. It is different, but kids should be
happy."
"I know I did miss Zack's first years, honey," Mary Ellen said.
"Sometimes, I wish I was there to keep him a baby longer."
Robert laughed and said, "Now you can!" Robert told her about
some sites - 5 Million Friends, DPF TEEN Page, and Deekers, along with
baby clothes sites. Mary Ellen was interested so she decided to look at
those sites, so Mary Ellen hung up after saying, "I love you, Robbie."
She also said that we can go boating. Mary Ellen went and looked at the
sites, starting with Deeker's.
Mary Ellen looked at Deeker, and looked at the stories, then went
to the links. She decided to look at diaper suppliers and went to a
webpage. The site was a local store, so she decided to visit the place
tomorrow.
She spent an hour doing research and thought it would be nice to
sew baby clothes. She would ask Robert about the idea. She then went to
bed.
