The Quads

Summary: A new family moves in next door to 15 year old Dave. He
quickly becomes friends with his new neighbors' 4 kids. After a couple
of months Dave's parents are having him spend a week at the new
neighbor's house while they are out of town. Will he be able to keep
his bedwetting a secret from them, or will they be able to keep Dave
from finding out his new neighbors' secret.

*Names are made up.

Part 1

"Damn it, mom's gonna kill me." David thought as he woke up one
morning. "DAVE, get up your gonna be late for your game, and coach will
make you run extra laps after the game," said his older brother Matt as
he opened the door to Dave's bedroom.

"Oh," Matt said as he stopped dead in his tracks, when he noticed Dave
sitting on his bed wearing the same clothes from yesterday soaked.

"Shut the door! I don't want mom to see," Dave hissed at his brother.

"Let me guess, you fell asleep without putting your diaper on again?
And besides, mom and dad aren't home, so you're lucky. Now go get ready
for your game and I'll take care of your bed," Matt said.

"Thanks, Matt, I owe you one," Dave said as he headed into his
bathroom.

While Dave was getting cleaned up, Matt brought all the wet bedding
down to the laundry room and started the washer.

"Ever since Matt went away to college in the fall, him and I seem to be
closer then before. He would of never done this for me before, he would
have gone running off and told mom or dad the first chance he got. I'm
glad we are this close now," Dave thought with a smile, as he put his
lacrosse uniform on.

"Hey look, the new neighbors are moving in today," Dave said as Matt
pulled his car out of the driveway.

"Look Dave, you gotta remember to put your diaper on before you go to
bed, even before you watch a movie or TV, incase you fall asleep. Your
lucky that mom or dad weren't home or mom would of been really pissed.
And don't worry, I won't tell mom or dad as long as you win today,"
Matt said with a smile as they drove to the high school for the game.
"Don't worry, we're gonna kick their ass!" Dave said.

"KLITZ! YOU'RE LATE!" Coach Ryan yelled as Dave ran across the lacrosse
field toward his coach.

"Sorry, Coach, it won't happen again," Dave said.

"It better not, or you'll be running extra laps for a week. Now go warm
up with your team," Coach Ryan said.

"Hey coach, sorry about Dave being late," Matt said as he walked up to
his old coach.

"I should have known. You were never on time for practice or anything.
So, you're home for spring break?" Coach Ryan asked Matt.

"Yeah, but I'm not staying the whole break. I gotta get back up to
school for a couple of my games. I'm playing on the varsity lacrosse
team up at Ithica," Matt said.

"Well, congratulations, Matt. I always knew you'd do great in college.
You were the best player I've ever seen," Coach Ryan said.

"Thanks Coach, well, I better leave you alone. You got a big game
today," Matt said. Dave's team, The Green Raiders, won the lacrosse
match 5-0, which Dave had scored a hat trick (3 goals in 1 game).

"Dave, when we get home take a shower! You reek!" Matt said as he was
driving down their street.

"Hey, you never smelt peachy clean after a game yourself. I wonder if
the new neighbors' have any kids our age?" Dave said as they pulled in
their driveway. Just then a girl came out from the back yard kicking a
soccer ball.

"Well, there's your answer," Matt said. As Matt got out of his car, a
soccer ball was flying toward his head. It was the same soccer ball
that the new neighbor had been kicking against the garage.

"Oh my god. I am so sorry. I didn't hit you, did I?" The girl asked as
ran over to the short hedges that separated the 2 driveways.

"It's okay, you didn't hit me. I'm Matt, and this is my brother, Dave.
What's your name?" Matt said as he threw the soccer ball back to the
girl.

"I'm Nicole. It's nice to meet you," She said.

"Same here. So where did you move here from?" Dave asked.

"Roosevelt, which in Orange County," Nicole said.

"You went to Waterton Valley? I heard they got really good sports teams
and that their in the top 10 for schools in the state," Dave said
noticing the Waterton Valley soccer jersey that she had on.

"Yeah, we do, the only thing that I don't think we're that good in is
the boy's tennis. I use to play on the girl's soccer team, and as a
going-away present the team gave me my jersey back," Nicole said.

"What positions do you play?" Matt asked.

"Forward and center-mid," Nicole answered. "We both play soccer, too.
Dave plays defense, striker, and mid field. And I play striker and mid
field," Matt said.

"So, do you have any brothers or sisters?" Dave asked.

"Yeah unfortunately, I have 4 brothers and sisters. Do you guys have
any other brothers or sisters, or is it just you two?" Nicole asked.

"Wow that's a lot! There's only us two. Are your brothers and sister
older or younger?" Dave asked.

"Oh, I'm the second oldest. I have 1 older brother and the rest are
younger than me," Nicole said.

"How old are all your brothers and sisters?" Matt asked.

"My brothers and I are the same age; we'll be 16 in a little more than
a week and my sister is 13. How old are you two?" Nicole asked them.

"I'm gonna be 16 in June and Matt will be 19 in a couple of weeks, too.
Are you like a twin?" Dave said cursorily.

"No we're quadruplets," Nicole answered just as one of her brothers
yelled from in the house.

"Nic, your supposed to be helping unpack. Where are you? You're not out
playing soccer are you?" he said.

"Well, I guess I gotta go. Do you want to come over and meet my
brothers?" Nicole asked.

"Sure, but how about we come over in about an hour. I gotta take a
shower and get something to eat still," said Dave.

"Okay, well I'll see you guys in an hour then. Bye," Nicole said as she
headed towards the back door of her house.

"She seems really nice." Matt said after Nicole was in her house.

"Yeah, and she's really cute too," Dave said to his brother as they
walked in their house.

"You better watch it, with that many brothers their gonna be
overprotective of her," Matt said while laughing at what Dave said.

"Who were you taking to out there?" Nicole's brother Neal asked, as he
threw an empty box down into the basement.

"Our new neighbors, Matt and Dave. They're coming over in an hour. And
they both play soccer, too. Plus, Dave plays lacrosse," Nicole said.

"Who plays lacrosse?" Nicole's other brother Matt asked as he came down
the stairs carrying some more empty boxes.

"Our new neighbor Dave. His brother Matt and him are coming over in an
hour." Nicole answered.

"In that case, you may want to tell J that because we unpacked the
Depends and stuff, and yours are on your floor in your room. I also
unpacked some of your boxes just so we could get rid of some tonight.
And when you come back downstairs can you put mom's dishes that are in
the dishwasher in the hutch?" Matt asked.

"Yeah, sure," Nicole said as she ran up the stairs to tell J, and pick
up her things in her room.

"J, come here please," Nicole yelled from her room as she picked up her
depends and put them away.

"What do you want? I was busy unpacking things, if you haven't
noticed," Jared said.

"Matt wanted me to tell you to pick up any of the Depends or other
things and put them away, because our new neighbors are coming over in
like 45 minutes," Nicole said as she moved her trophies off the floor
and onto the built in book shelves that were there.

"Thanks Nic, I'll put the stuff away. Do you want me too make your bed
while I make ours? You know I wish we had more shelves in our room,
Neal and Matt have too many trophies too," J said.

"Thanks J, I gotta get back downstairs and help Matt and Neal before
they have a cow," Nicole said with a smile.

"By the way you never told me their names or how old they are," J said.

"Dave is gonna be 16 in June and Matt is gonna be 19 in a couple of
weeks," Nic said as she headed towards the stairs. When she got back
downstairs Matt was hooking up their mom's computer in the study and
Neal was busy hooking up the TV, VCR, and DVD player in the family
room, while Nicole headed toward the kitchen.

"Hey Nic you never told us how old they are," Neal yelled from in the
family room. "Yeah, how will we know if we need to protect you from
them?" Matt said with a laugh.

"Haha, funny. Matt's gonna be 19 in a couple of weeks and Dave is gonna
be 16 in June," Nicole yelled back toward them. By the time Matt and
Dave knocked on the front door, Nicole had just finished unpacking the
boxes of kitchenware and most of the boxes of food. By that time Matt
had already gone upstairs to hook up the TV in their sister's room,
then gone up to his room to unpack, while Neal was in the basement
hooking up the PlayStation, and Game Cube. Their new house was huge.
There were 3 floors, not including the basement, 5 bedroom, 4
bathrooms, kitchen, dinning room, living room, family room. In the
basement was a huge game room with a built-in bar, and a extra room and
bathroom.

"Hi come in." Nicole said when she answered the front door.

"Wow, this place looks so much different," Dave said as he walked in
the front door.

"I thought I heard someone knocking on the front door. Hi, I'm Neal."
Neal said as he walked in the foyer from the basement.

"Hi, I'm Matt, and I'm Dave," Matt and Dave said as they shook hands
with Neal.

"I think my other brothers are in their room. Follow me," Nicole said.

Dave and Matt followed Neal and Nicole upstairs to the second floor,
then up the third floor.

"Is that your room?" Dave asked as he stopped at the door of Nicole's
room.

"Yeah, I love the way it was designed, with the window seat and the
built-in shelves," Nicole said.

"It looks just about the same as how Elizabeth had it. She used to have
her beanie babies and her trophies on the opposite shelves that you do.
And her furniture was in the same spots as your and she had the same
sheets on her bed too. You and her would definitely get along, she was
in the almost the same things as you are," Dave said. "She used to live
here. Our families were really close, they were like a second family to
us and the same for her," Matt said.

"I know what you mean about the second family part," Nicole said as
they went into her brothers' room.

" I'd like you to meet my other brothers Matt and Jared, but we call
him J for short. Guys, these are our neighbors Matt and Dave," Nicole
said as she pointed to her brothers Matt and J.

"Hi, it's nice to meet you," Matt and Dave said as they shook hands
with Matt and Jared. They all quickly became friends, as they sat and
talked in the boys' room.

"So, who plays soccer and who's into the running sports?" Dave asked as
he looked at the trophies on Matt and Neal's shelves.

"Neal plays soccer and I'm in track and cross-country," Matt said. "Nic
told me that both of you play soccer, too. What positions do you play?"
Neal asked Matt and Dave.

"Dave plays defense, mid-field, and striker, and I play striker and mid
field also. What positions do you play?" Matt asked Neal.

"The same positions as Dave, but I play mostly defense," Neal said.

"Are one of you in drama?" Dave asked while noticing the posters for
Hello Dolly!, 42nd Street, The Sound of Music, The Phantom of the
Opera, and others hanging on the wall.

" Yeah, me and Nic are in the drama club at our old school, she has the
same posters in her room, too. We're actually gonna live with some
friends next week so we can do the Spring Musical there. We also
perform at a local theater where we use to live," Matt said.

"What days is it maybe we can come watch you?" Dave asked.

"Unfortunately for us, opening night is on our birthday. The show opens
on April 22nd at 7:30, through the 25th. It's Wednesday through
Saturday at 7:30pm and also at 2pm on Saturday," Nicole said.

"Your birthday is on April 22nd?!?" Matt asked. "Yeah why?" J said.
"Because that's also Matt's birthday," Dave said.

"Anyone home?" A man yelled from somewhere downstairs.

"Hey dad, we're up here," J yelled down the stairs.

"Who did you play in the Sound of Music?" Matt asked.

"I played Friedrich VonTrap and Nic played Marta," Matt said.

"Really? I played Friedrich too, when I was in The Sound of Music,"
Matt said.

"But Matt was on Broadway," Dave said.

Just then a girl walked into the room, "Mom and dad want you to come
downstairs to meet the neighbors who came over," the girl said.

"Ok we'll be there in a minute. Hey Liz, these are our neighbors, Matt
and Dave," Nicole said as she pointed to both of them.

"Guys, this is our youngest sister Elizabeth Ann, but we call her Liz,
or to really get her mad we call her Lizzie," J said with a smile.

"Hello Elizabeth Ann, how old are you?" Dave asked.

"I'm 13, and please don't call me Elizabeth Ann, I hate that name," Liz
said as they followed her downstairs to meet their neighbors. Meanwhile
downstairs James and his wife Annie Klitz had came over to introduce
themselves to their new neighbors Scott and Danielle Johnson.

"I'm sorry that you can't meet my boys today, I don't know where they
could have run off to. How old are your kids?" Annie asked Danielle as
they all sat around the kitchen table.

"Well, the youngest, Elizabeth Ann, is 13, and Matthew, Jared, Neal and
Nicole are all going to be 16 next week. How about your boys?" Danielle
asked Annie.

"Wow that's gotta be hard, 4 the same age! My son Matt is going to be
19 next week too, and Dave is going to be 16 in June," Annie said as
Liz walked in with the rest following her.

"So there's where my boys went," Annie said as she noticed them behind
Danielle's kids. "Annie, James, these are our other kids Matthew, Neal,
Jared and Nicole. Kids these are Mr. and Mrs. Klitz." Danielle said.

"Hello, nice to meet you." Matthew, Neal, Nicole, and Jared said at the
same time. "It's nice to meet you all, too. I see you already met my
boys. Scott. Danielle, I'd like you to meet my boys, Matthew and
David," Annie said

"Hello boys, it's nice to meet you," Danielle said. "How did you guys
meet Dave?" Mr. Klitz asked his son.

"Well, when we got home from Dave's game I almost got hit by a stray
soccer ball as I was getting out of my car," Matt said. As Matt said
that Liz, Neal, Jared, and Matt, looked at Nicole, while Mr. and Mrs.
Johnson looked at Neal.

"What!? I didn't hit him though," Nicole said. "I thought it would have
been Neal," Mrs. Johnson said.

"You and your soccer, Matt. We should have known it was something
through soccer," Mr. Klitz said. After Mr. and Mrs. Klitz and their
sons had left later that night, Nicole and the boys went back up to
their room to unpack some more.

"Hey Nic, do you wanna watch a movie with us?" Neal yelled through
their bathroom.

"Sure, what movie are you gonna watch?" Nic asked as she walked into
the boys' room. "Ummmm, how about one of the shows we did? Is that okay
with everyone?" Matt asked the rest of them.

"Yeah, sure. I'll be right back, I'm gonna go get my jammie's on and
get my pillow," Nicole said as she went back to her room.

"Okay, that sounds like a good idea, we'll do the same thing," J said.
"And you know what that means Nic, so don't go too far." Neal said.

"Yeah, I know," Nicole said as she shut the door on her side of the
bathroom. About 10 minutes later Neal called Nicole from in the
bathroom.

"Hey Nic, can you come and help me?" Neal said.

"Yeah, fine. I'll be there in a second," Nicole said.

When Nicole opened the bathroom door, she saw Neal laying on the floor
with his diaper on but it wasn't taped up.

"You know, you're lucky that I tape your diaper up for you every
night," Nicole said as she taped up Neal.

"I know, Thanks, though," Neal said as they went into his bedroom. Matt
and J had already pulled the blankets off their beds and were laying on
the floor, ready to watch the movie.

"Nic did you put a depend on?" J had asked her.

"Yes mother, why are you asking? Do you really think that I'll forget
to put one on?" Nicole said as she pulled blankets off the extra bunk
bed.

"You never know with you. Besides we don't need you to fall asleep on
the floor and wet." Matt said.

Within a few weeks the Klitzs' and the Johnsons' became good friends.
About a month after the Johnsons' had moved in, they were asked if Dave
could stay there for a week while Mr. and Mrs. Klitz were out of town.

"Danielle, I was wondering if it's all right with you and Scott if Dave
could spend a week with you while James and I are out of town. If not,
I can send him to my parents' place," Annie asked, while she and
Danielle were in the kitchen getting food ready for a BBQ that they
were having at the Johnson's place.

"Annie, we'd love to have him stay. It's no problem and besides, the
boys and Nicole seem to be really good friends with Dave. When are you
and James leaving?" Danielle said.

"On the 23rd, which is next Friday. Are you sure it's all right that he
stays with you?" Annie said.

"No, don't worry about it, it's fine. We'll be glad to have him stay.
I'm glad that the kids made such a good friends, so fast." Danielle
said.

"Thanks a lot. Dave will be so happy that he doesn't have to stay at my
parents' house. I'm also glad that he's been happy since he meet your
kids. Ever since Elizabeth died Dave wasn't the same, then he meet your
kids and he's been better than before," Annie said.

"Elizabeth? Was that the girl who used to live here? What happened to
her? I'm glad he's getting better, he's becoming like another son to
me, so is Matt," Danielle said. "She had a very sever asthma attack one
night when Matt and Dave were here and died before help could get here.
They were like a second family to the boys. Your children are also like
sons and daughters to me, especially Nic she's the daughter that I
never had," Annie said.

That night after the Klitzs had gone home, Mrs. Klitz had gone upstairs
to her son's room to talk to him. "Dave, I need to talk to you," Annie
said as she walked into his room through the opened door. Dave was
sitting at his desk talking to his friends and brother online.

"Sure, what about?" Dave asked as he turned around.

"You know how your father and me are going out of town for a week on
the 23rd? Well, I had asked Mrs. Johnson if it would be all right if
you stay there, instead of going to NaNa's house," Annie said.

"YOU DID WHAT?!?! But what if they find out about my, you know. What am
I going do about it. Plus if they find out I'll be the laughing stock
of the school. What would happen to my reputation?" Dave said.

"You'll have to wear your diapers at night like you do here. And you're
staying at the Johnson's whether you like it or not," Annie said then
she left Dave's room. At the same time Mrs. Johnson was heading
upstairs to talk to her kids.

"Matt, Neal, Jared, can you come into Nic's room? I need to talk to
you," Danielle said through their bathroom.

"What's up, Mom?" J asked as they walked through their bathroom.

"Well, earlier today, while Annie and James were over I was talking to
Annie, and she had asked if Dave could stay here with us while she and
James go out of town," Danielle said.

"Can he? And for how long?" Neal asked.

"Well, it would be for about a week, and I already told Annie that we'd
be glad to have him stay," Danielle said.

"But mom, what if he finds out about our problem? He'll tell the whole
school and we'll be the laughing stock of the school," Matt said.

"He won't tell the whole school, just like you didn't have any problems
when you told Jeff, now did you? And besides, you'll have to wear your
diapers like you do every night," Danielle said.

"Mom, the only reason we didn't have any problems when we told Jeff is
because he wet his bed till he was like what?" Nicole said as she
looked over at her brothers.

"I think it was till about 2 years ago, he told us after he found out
about us. So he knew what it like," Matt said.

"Well, Dave is going to stay here whether you like it or not," Mrs.
Johnson said then she left the room.

"Well, this gonna be fun. Lets go talk to Dave he's at his desk,"
Nicole said.

"How do you know Nic?" Neal asked.

"Because I can see his room through my window," Nicole said as she
pointed to his room, then she went over and got her flashlight off of
her desk. "Can someone turn off my lights?" Nicole asked as she opened
up her bedroom window. Then she turned on her flashlight and flashed it
in Dave's room.

"Where is that light coming from?" Dave thought. Just then he looked
out the window and noticed that the light was coming from Nicole's
room.

"I should have known." Dave said to himself as he went over to his
window and opened it up.

"Hey, what's up?" Dave yelled up to them. Even though they live next
door to each other Dave's room is on the second floor in his house, and
Nicole and the boys' rooms are up in the third floor of their house.
(They also refer to their rooms as the attic sometimes.)

"Do you know that you're staying over for a week while your parents go
out of town?" Neal yelled down to him.

"Yeah, my mom just told me. It's gonna be fun," Dave yelled up to them.

"As long as they don't find out about my problem," Dave thought to
himself.

"Yeah our mom just told us too; it's gonna be a lot of fun," J yelled
down.

"As long as he doesn't find out about our night-time problem," Matt
said quietly, only so Neal, Nicole, and J could hear him.

"Well I gotta go and get ready for bed, I gotta get up early for my
game tomorrow. Are you guys coming to my game tomorrow morning?" Dave
asked them.

"Yeah sure, what time is it?" Matt asked.

"Well, I have to be there by 7:30, but it starts at 9 am," Dave said.

"Okay. We'll see you then. Night., Matt yelled down.

"See you guys tomorrow then. Night," Dave yelled back, then shut his
window.

The day that Dave was to spend the week with the Johnson's Mrs. Klitz
called Mrs. Johnson to tell her about Dave's "problem" while Dave was
at school.

"Hello Danielle, this is Annie."

"Oh, hi Annie, how are you? The kids can't wait for Dave to come over
tonight."

"Well, there's something I have to tell you about Dave. Well, he has a
little problem with bedwetting still. But don't worry, he wears
protection at night. I just thought I ought to tell you, in case
something happens. Is that ok? If not I can still send him to my
parents' house."

"It's fine. I'm glad you told me. But don't worry the quads still have
the same problem. Do you think we should tell them or let them find out
the hard way?"

"We should let them find out the hard way, they need to learn that. And
besides, Dave would hate me for tell you. But he'll be relieved when he
finds out, he's been so worried that they'll find out and tell the
whole school."

"Yeah the quads have been saying the same thing lately, too. And
they'll also hate me for telling you about them."

"Well, thanks so much for still letting him stay with you. I'll talk to
you later when I bring Dave by."

"Oh, don't worry. We would still let him stay here; a little bedwetting
problem won't stop us for letting him stay here. I'll see you later
then. Bye."

"Bye, and thanks so much. Danielle, you guys are a live saver."

"It's no problem Annie. Bye" Danielle said then she and Annie hung up.

"KLITZ! That's the fifth ball in a row that you missed. What's
happening?" Coach Ryan yelled across the field to Dave during his
lacrosse practice, then he blew his whistle for everyone to come to the
sideline.

"Sorry, coach, I just have a lot on my mind, and today hasn't been the
best day for me," Dave said to his coach, when he got to the sideline.

"Well you better have that mind of yours cleared by Monday, you got 2
days. All right, everyone, today was a great practice otherwise, so you
only have to do 2 laps today instead of the usual 4, then you're free
to go." Coach Ryan said.

Dave had gotten into a fight with his mom that morning before going to
school, because he had fallen asleep without putting his diaper on
again, and had wet the bed during the night. And when his mom had came
in to wake him up she found him on top of his blankets soaked, and
asleep. Usually she wouldn't be too mad at him but that night she had
reminded him before she went to bed, so she wouldn't have to wash his
sheet in case he forgotten again, like she had been the past few days.
When Dave got home his parents were finishing packing their stuff.

"Dave, go get in the shower quickly, then pack your stuff to go to the
Johnson' and make your bed. I washed the sheets and blankets for you,"
Mrs. Klitz yelled down to Dave from her room. After Dave had taken a
shower and gotten dressed his phone rang while he was packing.

"Hello?"

"Hey Dave how are you holding up?"

"I'm a little scared that they'll find out, and me and mom got into a
fight this morning before I went to school. So how's school, Matt?"

"It's fine and don't worry you'll be fine. They won't find out unless
you tell them, and what did you do? Wait let me guess, you fell asleep
without putting anything on and had an accident. Then mom came in to
wake you up and found you soaked, and was pissed at you because you wet
the bed, no I mean you soaked the bed. Am I right?"

"Yeah that sounds about right, and I hope you're right. Well I gotta
finish packing and then make my bed, before mom comes in or she'll have
a cow. I'll talk to you later then."

"Like I said before, don't worry, they won't find out. And Dave?"

"Yeah?"

"Make sure that you don't fall asleep at the Johnson's without wearing
your diaper, and I know I've said this before you gotta start
remembering to put it on before you go to bed. And what is that noise?"

"I know, and don't worry I won't forget to put it on before I fall
asleep. That noise would be my old plastic sheet that mom put back on
my bed today. I guess I need it, but it's really embarrassing to have
on if someone comes over. But you wouldn't know, you never had this
problem."

"That's true that I never had that problem but..."

"I gotta go someone's coming. Bye, Matt talk to you soon."

"Okay, Bye and good luck."

Just as Dave hung up the phone there was a knock at his door.

"Dave,is it all right if I come in?" Mr. Klitz asked through the shut
door.

"Yeah, I guess so," Dave said as he was making his bed.

"Your mother wants to know if your almost ready to go next door," Mr.
Klitz asked his son while he helped Dave make his bed.

"Um just about, but dad?" Dave said without looking at him. He could
never look at his father's face when it came to asking him anything
that had to do with his bedwetting.

"What's wrong, Dave?" Mr. Klitz asked. He could tell that there was
something wrong by the way that Dave was acting.

"I have just one small problem..... I sorta don't have enough of my
Depends to last the whole week at the Johnson's., Dave said sort of
embarrassed.

"Oh, I see. Well, we're gonna have to get you some more before we leave
tonight then. And what is that noise? Your mother didn't put your
plastic sheet back on your bed again, did she?" Mr. Klitz said.

"Yeah she did." Dave said while looking at the floor.

"Let me guess, it had something to do with what happened last night
doesn't it? Or she wouldn't have put it back on. You know Dave, I don't
blame her, though. You know you are supposed to put your diaper on when
you put your pajama's on," Mr. Klitz said.

"Yeah, I know, dad, but I was talking to Matt, Neal, J, and Nic through
Nic's window last night, and after we finished talking I had put my
pj's on and I was afraid to put my Depend on in case they could have
seen me. Did mom tell you about what happened this morning?" Dave asked
his father.

"Yes, she did." Mr. Klitz said.

"Dave, come on, let's go," Mrs. Klitz yelled from downstairs.

"Don't worry Dave I'll go to the store now and get you some more
Depends and leave them in your room, and then you can just come home
and get more when you need them. Just pack all the ones you have left.
I'll go tell your mother where I'm going and that you'll be ready in a
minute. And don't worry they won't find out. Try to have fun though."

Mr. Klitz said as he gave his son a hug then went downstairs.

"James, where's Dave?" Annie asked her husband as he came down the
stairs.

"He'll be down in a minute, he's just finishing packing some last
minute things. Annie, he does have one small problem, he doesn't have
enough diapers for the whole week at the Johnson's. That might be why
he hasn't worn them to bed the past few nights. I 'm going out and
getting him some more, while you take him to Scott and Danielle's
place," James said to Annie as he got his wallet and car keys.

"Why didn't he tell me that he was running out? He usually does. I
should of picked it up, that he didn't have enough, especially after
what happened last night. Do you know his size to get?" Annie asked
James.

"Isn't it a medium?" James asked her.

"No an extra small if you can. If not, just get him the largest size
pampers. It's a size 8, if there's both get them both, please," Annie
said.

As soon as James left Dave came down the stairs.

"Dave honey, why didn't you tell me that you were running low on your
diapers?" Annie asked.

"I don't know. I guess that I just wished that I didn't have to wear
them anymore, especially when I'm going to spending a week next door.
Mom. What if they find out? I don't want them to know. It would be too
embarrassing. I'm scared that they'll laugh at me," Dave said really
scared.

"Oh honey, don't worry about it. I have this gut feeling that they
won't care if they find out, and you'll grow out of it Dave, just have
patience. Are you ready?" Annie asked Dave.

"As ready as I'll ever be. Where's dad? Did he go out to the store
yet?" Dave asked.

"He left for the store already. Why, do you need anything else? Come
on, let get going." Annie said.

"No, but does he know what he's getting? And the right size?" Dave
asked, as he followed his mom toward their front door.

"Yes I told him the sizes, and what to get," Annie said.

"Thanks mom. Next time I'll tell you when I need more," Dave said as
they walked up the Johnson's back deck.

"Hello, anyone home?" Annie said as she knocked on the door, while she
opened the door.

"I'm in the kitchen, Ann," Danielle yelled.

"Hey, what are making?" Annie said as she and Dave walked into the
kitchen.

"Tacos, I hope you're hungry, Dave. The boys and Nic are up in their
rooms, you can put your stuff in the boys room and can you tell them
dinner's ready while your up there please," Danielle ask Dave.

"Sure, and don't worry, I'm starving." Dave said as he headed toward
the stairs.

"Hey roomie," Dave said as he walked into Matt, J, and Neal's room.

"Hey Dave, what's up? Are you ready to spend the week here?" J asked.

"Yeah, where is everyone? Oh Danielle said dinner's ready. It's tacos!"

Dave said as he set his bag down. "Matt's in the shower, Neal's in
Nic's room, I think she needed help with her math homework, but by the
sounds of it they're fighting about something, and Liz is spending the
weekend with some family back up where we used to live, so our dad
won't be home for a while now," J said.

"Nic please, help me what if something happens and Dave finds out?"
Neal said as they walked in the room.

"Find out about what?" Dave asked.

"Oh, I didn't know you were here yet," Neal said as the color drained
out of his face.

"Yeah I've been here for about 5 minutes now. Find out about what?"
Dave asked again.

"It's nothing. Hey J, do you know if dinner's ready yet?" Neal said
trying to change the subject.

"Yeah, Danielle told me to tell you that dinner's ready when I came up
here. Hey Matt," Dave said as Matt came out of the bathroom.

"Hey, what's up? Did I hear you say dinner's ready?" Matt asked.

"Yeah. Let's go eat. I'll race ya all," Dave said as he and the quads
ran down the stairs to the kitchen.

"What is going on up there?" Danielle yelled up toward the quads'
rooms. Just then the five of them came running toward the kitchen with
Neal in the lead. "Freeze!" Danielle yelled. They all froze, while Matt
ended up losing his balance and falling, taking the rest of them down
with him.

"What are is going on here? I heard that hungry teenagers could turn
into a herd of elephants but I never would of thought that was true."
Danielle said trying to tease them as everyone sat at the table.

"Haha, very funny, mom. Dave just said he'd race us down here. That's
all, and that noise you heard was Nic falling down the stairs again," J
said. "Nic, maybe we should build you a slide so you can get down the
stairs safely. Well how was everyones' day at school? Did you guys do
all your homework?" Danielle asked while they were eating.

"It was okay," Everyone said.

"Hey Dave you looked like you were having fun during practice today,"
Nicole said.

"Yeah, I think your coach was yelling at you for something," Matt said.

"Huh? Wait were you in that big group of people that ran by a couple of
times today? Other then that practice was all right," Dave said.

"Yeah we were. We were on a 30 minute run for track," Neal said.

"I didn't see any of you," Dave said.

"Oh mom guess what!?" Nicole said excitedly.

"What?" Danielle said.

"Mr. Kelly posted up who made the advance choir after school for next
year. And Matt and me made it!" Nicole said with a big smile on her
face.

"Wow, congratulations, this calls for a celebration. After dinner I'll
go out and gets some movies and ice cream," Danielle said.

"Congratulations, guys," Neal, Dave, and J said. "My brother made it
when he was in school, too. He loved it. He said that Mr. Kelly was a
totally different person for the advanced choir. I guess I'll see you
two at rehearsal next year," Dave said.

"I forgot that you're in the advanced choir, too. This is going to be a
lot of fun," Nicole said.

After diner Danielle took a list of what kind of ice cream and movies
to get while the kids cleaned up the table and did the dishes. About
half an hour later Danielle came back with 5 different pints of Ben and
Jerry's Ice Cream one for each of them, and about 6 movies.

"Since none of you finished your homework yet, I suggest that you go up
and finish it before you watch any movies," Danielle said.

"But mom, it's Friday we can finish our homework Sunday night," Neal
said.

"No, now or no movies tonight. Now go do your homework," Danielle said
sternly.

"Okay, fine," Matt said as they all headed up toward the attic.

"I'll be right there. Let me get my stuff out of my room," Nicole said
as she headed into her room, and the boys headed towards the boys' room
so they could all do their homework together. It took almost an hour
before everyone finished their homework. As soon as they finished their
homework they all ran downstairs to get the movies and ice cream.

"Hey guys, I have an idea, how about we put some ice in a cooler and
put the ice cream in it if we don't finish it or if we want to save it
for later," Neal said.

"That's a good idea. What did you do with my brother?" Nicole joked
with Neal.

"Hey guys, before you watch any movies, put your pajamas on please,"
Danielle yelled from the study.

"Okay, mom," J yelled back to her.

"You heard mom, we gotta get ready for bed before we watch our movies.
Dave, you can get dressed in here if you want. We're gonna use our
bathroom and the side rooms off the bathroom," Matt said when they got
upstairs.

"Okay , thanks guys." Dave said as Matt, Neal, and J got their jammies,
one went into the bathroom, while the others went into the rooms where
they had a sink and a walk-in closet off of both sides of the bathroom.
Neal had gone into Nicole's side room, before he started to changed he
knocked on the door that lead into Nicole's room.

"Hey, Nic can I come in for a second?" Neal asked.

"Um, sure, I guess. Just give me a second to put my pants on," Nicole
said, but Neal didn't wait.

"Neal," Nicole said as he opened the door.

"What? It's not like I've never seen you with your jammie shirt and
your depend on before," Neal said as Nicole put her jammie pants on.

"What did you want?" Nicole asked Neal.

"Umm could you help me and can I borrow some of your stuff for my
contacts?" Neal asked.

"Yeah, you can, but let me use it first, and fine I'll help you,"
Nicole said as she started to brush her long brown hair.

"Thanks Nic, just give me like 3 minutes then come in, but knock first
please," Neal said as he went back into Nicole's side room and shut the
door. About 5 minutes later Nicole went over and knocked on the door,
and Neal let her come in. After Nic helped Neal, they took out their
contacts, and put their glasses on. Then they headed into Neal's room
where Matt, J and Dave were sitting on the floor waiting for them.

"I didn't know you all wore glasses?" Dave said.

"Yeah, but we always wear our contacts. And before you ask what took so
long Matt, Nic had to wait for me before she could take her contacts
out then she couldn't find her glasses." Neal said.

"You guys look so much different with glasses on." Dave said.

"Really? We hate our glasses." Matt said.

"What movie do you guys want to watch first?" Nicole asked them.

"The first movie you pick up, Nic." Neal said.

"Hey can someone do me a favor and go in my room and get my pillow and
some blankets off my bed, please?" Nicole asked the guys.

"I'll get it for you Nic," Dave said as he headed toward Nicole's room.

Thanks, Dave," Nicole said as she turned the TV and DVD player on.

"Hey Nic, what movie are we watching?" J asked.

"You'll see." Nicole said.

"Where do you want these, Nic?" Dave asked as he came in the room.

"You can just drop them there. Thanks, Dave," Nicole said as she
started the movie.

"So what are we watching?" Dave asked.

"Nic won't tell us." Neal said.

"Shh I'm starting the movie now," Nicole said as she turned off the
light. They ended up watching Daddy Daycare and Just Married.

"Hey Matt, Nic's sleeping, will you take her glasses off?" J asked
Matt, not realizing that he was also asleep.

"I'll do it J, besides, Matt's sleeping too." Neal said as he got up
and took Nicole's glasses off and then went and took Matt's glasses off
too and put them on the nearest desk, while he also put his glasses
there too.

"Night," Neal said as he climbed up to his bed.

"Night," Dave said with a yawn.

"Night," J said as he put his glasses on the same desk that Neal put
his, Matt's and Nicole's glasses.

The next morning when Danielle got up she went upstairs to make sure
that no one had their glasses on, since they have a tendency to, and
they end up breaking them. Since the kids were still sleeping and she
had to go out, she left a note telling the kids where she was, and let
them sleep. It wasn't till about 11 am when they started to wake up.
Nicole was the first one up, and when she woke up she noticed that
something didn't feel right. That's when she ran her hand down her side
and then felt a pretty big wet spot.

"Oh no, Matt, J, and Neal are gonna kill me." Nicole thought as she
started to cry softly. Dave woke up to someone crying softly, when he
turned over he realized it was Nicole.

"Nic why are you crying?" Dave asked as he got up and sat next to her.
"Matt, J, and Neal are going to kill me when they wake up." Nicole said
between sobs. "Why are they going to kill you? Your brothers would
never hurt you." Dave said, he had no idea why Nicole would say that,
cuz he knew how over protective they were of her, and that they'll
never hurt her.

"Because they will when they find out what happened." Nicole said while
still crying. With all the crying she had waken Neal up. "Who's
crying?" Neal asked as he climbed down from his bed and headed over to
the desk that the glasses were on.

"Nic's crying. She keeps saying that when you, Matt, and J find out
about something that happened, that you'll kill her." Dave said as Neal
sat next to him and Nicole.

"Here Nic. Now what happened?" Neal asked as he handed her, her
glasses. "You'll kill me when you find out." Nicole said still crying.
"Did she tell you what happened Dave?" Neal asked him "No I woke up to
her crying and that's basically all she has said." Dave said. "Oh no! I
think I know what happened. Nic did you, you know?" Neal asked alittle
sacred.

Nicole looked at Neal, and shook her head yes. "Oh Nic. You know we
won't kill you over that. We'd never even yell at you for that. You
know that." Neal said as he leaned over and gave her a hug to try and
cheer Nicole up. "What happened Neal?" Dave asked confused. "Um,
nothing. Don't worry about." Neal said. "But is Nic ok?" Dave asked
concerned.

"Yeah I'm fine. I'm sorry that I woke you up Dave." Nicole said wiping
the tears from her face. "It's fine. Well since we're up do you two
want to go get something to eat?" Dave asked. "Um, you guys go ahead
without me, I'll be down there in a minute." Nicole said with a weak
smile. "Ok Nic." Neal said as he and Dave headed down to the kitchen.
When they had gone down the stairs, Nicole got up and picked up her
blankets and headed toward her room to change. "Nic is that you?" Matt
asked while looking for his glasses. "Yeah. Your glasses are on the
desk. Here." Nicole said as she got his glasses and handed to him.

"Thanks. Nic what happened? I thought you put a depend on last night."
Matt said while he was putting his glasses on. "I did. But I must have
wet more than once last night, otherwise it's never leaked before."
Nicole said. "Did Dave find out?" Matt asked. "No thank god. I woke him
cuz I started to cry, and lucky I had also woke Neal up too." Nicole
said. "Why were you crying Nic?" J asked as he woke up. "She had
alittle bit of problem last night." Matt said. "Nic, I thought you wore
a depend last night?" J asked, when he noticed what Matt meant. "I did,
but I leaked last night. And Neal and Dave went downstairs for
breakfast." Nicole said as she went back and picked up her blankets
then headed back toward her room.

"Ok thanks Nic, do you want us to wait for you?" J asked. "If you guys
don't mind." Nicole said. "No it's fine. It give us time to change out
of our depends or in J's case goodnite." Matt said. "Well I'll be out
in a couple of minutes." Nicole said. Meanwhile downstairs, Neal and
Dave were eating cereal. "What taking Nic so long? Maybe I should go up
and see if she's all right." Dave said. "No, she'll be down in a few
minutes. She's all right. You gotta give her time, believe me." Neal
said. Then about 3 minutes later Matt, J, and Nicole came down the
stairs. All of a sudden there was a big bang and people laughing. "What
was that?" Dave asked. " Nic, she probably fell down the stairs again."
Neal said.

"It wasn't me this time. It was J, he doesn't have his glasses on,"
Nicole said while laughing as she walked into the kitchen.

"So what do you guys want to do today?" Matt asked as he poured himself
a bowl of cereal.

"Do you guys want to go to the mall?" Nicole asked.

"Nooo!" They all said at the same time.

"I got a better idea how about we go to that new sports center." Neal
said. "Sure. That sounds better," Nicole said.

"Let's go up and get dressed then," Neal said.

"Hey I got a better idea. Pillow fight," Nicole said when they got into
the boys' room. Then she started to hit whoever was closest to her with
a pillow, and the rest of them joined in. The pillow fight somehow
turned into tickling Nicole.

"Ok, ok, stop." Nicole said while laughing. "Nope." Neal said. "No
stop." Nicole said again as she grabbed someone's pj leg pants, which
just happened to be Dave's pants. She ended up pull his pants down by
mistake while she was squirming, revealing his wet Depend. That stopped
the tickling, and after Dave pulled his pants back up, he ran down the
stairs and then towards his house shocked.

"Dave wait, we need to talk." Neal said.

"Oh no, that's not good. It was all my fault," Nicole said as they ran
after Dave. They followed him to his house, and to his room.

"Dave, stop. We need to talk to you,"

Nicole said as she ran after him.

"No go away," Dave yelled as he slammed his bedroom door shut, and
locked it. Then he threw the bags that his dad had left for him onto
the floor and laid on his bed. Danielle was just about to pull into the
driveway when she saw her kids running after Dave and into his house.

"Oh no. This can't be good," she thought as she quickly got out of her
car, then ran after her kids.

"What happened?" Danielle asked as she came up the stairs.

"Well, they were tickling me and I had grabbed someone's jammie pants,
which just happened to be Dave's pants. And I accidentally pulled them
down and it showed that he had a wet Depend on. We tried to talk to
him, but he ran out of the house before we could. I didn't mean to I
swear. And now he won't let us talk to him," Nicole said.

"Let me talk to him, I want you guys to go home, and we'll be there
later," Danielle said.

"Mom, don't tell him about us, let us do that," Neal said in a whisper.
"Don't worry I wasn't. Now go home," Danielle said. She waited for her
kids to leave before she tried to talk to Dave.

"Dave, it's Danielle. Can I talk to you? Don't worry I sent Matt, Neal,
Jared, and Nicole home. Please open the door, honey," Danielle said.

"I don't want to talk," Dave said.

"Dave, I know what happened, please let me in. I want to talk to you,"
Danielle asked.

"OK," Dave said as he unlocked and opened the bedroom door.

"Dave, look, your mother told me that you still wet the bed yesterday
while you kids were in school. Don't worry I'm not going to yell at
you," Danielle said.

"This what I was afraid of. I didn't want them to find out. I want to
go to my grandparent's house please," Dave said.

"Why don't you go talk to them first and hear what they have to say.
Then if you still want to go to your grandparents' house I'll bring you
there. Is that ok? I know they want to talk to you, and I know they
won't tell the whole school. If that's what you are afraid of, so why
don't you give them a chance?" Danielle said.

"But what if they laugh at me?" Dave asked. "Don't worry, they won't.
Don't forget their my kids I know them pretty well. So come on."
Danielle said with a smile as she stood up.

"Ok, I'll talk to them." Dave said as he got up off of his bed, and
then followed Danielle to her house. When Danielle and Dave walked into
Danielle's house, the quads were sitting at the kitchen table.

"Why don't you guys go up stairs and talk?" Danielle said.

"Ok mom," J said.

"Let's go in your room Nic," Neal said as they went up the stairs.

"Look, Dave I'm really sorry that I did that. I didn't mean to, I
swear," Nicole said when they were in her room. "I know you didn't mean
to Nicole, but I'm really mad at what you did." Dave said. "I know you
are, and I'm really, really, really, truly, sorry that I did that. I
didn't mean to, it could of been one of my brother's pants, I didn't
know whose I grabbed," Nicole said.

"Look, I appreciate your apology, but I really don't want to stay here
anymore. Danielle told me to talk to you guys first and then if I still
wanted she would bring me to my grandparents' house. You guys don't
know how I feel," Dave said.

"So why do you wear them?" Matt asked, even though he already knew the
answer to the question.

"Because I still wet my bed. Please don't tell anyone. You don't know
what it's like to be turning 16 and still have to wear diapers to bed
because you can't stay dry through the whole night," Dave said while
looking at the floor.

"Should we tell him?" J said.

"Tell me what?" Dave asked as he looked up.

"Let me tell him since it's my fault that this happened. Dave,.. do you
want to know why I was crying this morning?.... It was because.....
well, I was afraid that you'll find out about something and...... I....
I thought that my brothers would be mad at me cuz you'd know our
secret...... It was because of this," Nicole said showing him her wet
jammie pants.

"Dave, we know how you feel. We still have to wear diapers to bed, cuz
we can't stay dry the whole night, too. Do you remember what I said
about you finding out about something when you got here yesterday? Well
this was it," Neal said.

"This makes me feel so much better. I thought that if you guys found
out that you'll laugh at me and tell the whole school. I'm glad you
guys told me," Dave said.

"Same with us." Matt said.

"Nic, I just have one question for you. Why didn't you wear something
to bed last night if you knew you gonna wet?" Dave asked.

"I did, but it leaked a lot last night. So are we going to go to the
sports center today or not?" Nicole asked.

"How's everything going?" Danielle asked as she stood in the doorway.

"It's fine now mom." Neal said. "Nic, what happened with your
blankets?"

Danielle asked as she walked over toward the pile of wet blankets.

"I sorta leaked last night, and the blankets and my pants got all wet.
I just pulled them out to show Dave what I was upset about this
morning." Nicole said.

"Why didn't you put them in the laundry?" Danielle asked as she got the
basket of dirty laundry from the bathroom.

"Because I didn't want Dave to see me putting them in the laundry at
the time." Nicole said.

"She kinda woke me up this morning cuz she was crying, she kept saying
that Matt, J, and Neal would kill her when they found out what had
happened. I guess if she didn't wake Neal up too, I might of figured it
out." Dave said.

"I was sacred that if Dave found out that they would be mad me, cuz you
know how we didn't want him to find out. But now it doesn't matter."
Nicole said.

"Do you still want me to take you to your grandparents' house now?"
Danielle asked.

"No that's ok. I'm glad that they found out though." Dave said. "That's
what I thought, that's why I wanted you to talk with them. Is there
anymore dirty laundry while I'm doing laundry?" Danielle asked.

"Hey, what happening here?" Scott asked as he walked in. "Hey Dad."
Matt, Nicole, J, and Neal said at the same time.

"Nic, what happened to your bed?" Scott asked when he noticed that
there was no blankets on it and that Danielle had them in the basket.

"Oh we pulled the blankets off my bed and I slept on the floor in the
boys' room," Nicole said. "Then why does your mother have them in the
basket? You didn't....." Scott stopped suddenly after he realized that
Dave was in the room.

"It's okay, dad, he knows. It's because I had leaked last night."
Nicole said while looking at the floor.

"Well, I just came home for lunch, so I'm gonna go eat." Scott said.
And he and Danielle left.

"I'm going to guess that you don't like to talk to your dad about your
bedwetting either?" Dave asked.

"Yeah, how'd you know?" Nic asked.

"Because you do the same thing that I do, look at the floor when you
talk to him about it." Dave said.

"Let's get cleaned up so we can go to the sports center now." Neal
said.

"Okay," everyone said. "Oh, and Dave, there's a garbage can in the
linen closet that you can throw away your Depend," Neal said.

"Mom, can we have money to go over to the new sports center please?" J
asked Danielle about an hour later.

"Ok, but don't be home too late," Danielle said as she gave them some
money each.

"Thanks, bye mom," They all said, even Dave.

"Hey guys, I have to run into my house, before we go to your house,"
Dave said as they walked home about 4 hours later.

"Sure, but we're coming with ya," Neal said.

"That place was so much fun. I wanna climb that wall again, and ice
skate again too," Nicole said.

"Well, we can go back tomorrow maybe. And we gotta try out that rafting
thing, and go swimming," Dave said as he unlocked his front door.

"So, what do you have to get?" J asked as they went up to his room.

"That," Dave said as he pointed to the bags on the floor.

"Oh ok." Neal said as they sat on his bed.

As they sat down they could hear a crinkling noise. "Let me guess. A
plastic sheet?" Nicole asked.

"Yeah, my mom and me got into a fight yesterday morning, and when I got
home she had put it on my bed." Dave said.

"What happened?" Matt asked.

"Well, Thursday night before my mom had gone to her room, she reminded
me to put on one of my depends on cuz I didn't wear one Tuesday or
Wednesday night, but I didn't. I was starting to run out of Depends,
and I didn't want to tell my mom. So when she came to wake me up
yesterday morning she was pissed at me. She had taken off the mattress
pad that I had on and put that back on." Dave said.

"Good job," Neal said sarcastically.

"Thanks. So which one should I bring?" Dave asked as he pulled out the
packages of Depends and pampers out of the bags that his dad left on
his bed.

"I personally opt for the Depends," Matt said.

"You can still fit into Pampers?" Neal asked.

"Yeah, but there so annoying to put on," Dave said.

"Yeah, I know what you mean on that. I still wear them, too," Neal
said.

"Whatever. You're the one who will be wearing them," Nicole said.

"Maybe I'll stick to the Depends. I don't wanna leak all over your bed
if I wear the Pampers," Dave said.

"If you leak, then why still get them? And you don't have to worry
about the bed. We do have the waterproof mattress pads on them, too,"
Nicole asked.

"Oh, it only sometimes. Only when I don't put the tape things on tight
enough," Dave said.

"That's why I get Nic to tape them up for me. That's another reason why
it took so long last night when we were putting our jammies on," Neal
said.

"Why wouldn't you get Matt or J, too?" Dave asked as he packed a couple
of the Depends and Pampers.

"Oh, no. Nic doesn't put the diaper on me, if that's what your
thinking. I put it on my self and then I tell her when to come in. And
all's she has to do is tape it, the diaper's already on me, I hold it
up till she gets it taped on me," Neal said.

"Oh ok, now I get it," Dave said.

"So are we ready to go?" Nicole asked.

"Yeah, come on." Dave said.

"How was the sports center?" Danielle asked them they walked into the
kitchen.

"It was so awesome, mom," Neal said.

"What's in the bag?" Danielle asked curiosly.

"Oh, I had to stop at my house and get some more Depends," Dave said.

"Is that why there was a light on in your house?" Danielle asked.

"Yeah." Dave asked.

"I think you guys forget to turn them off, cuz the lights are still
on," Danielle said.

"Huh? What are you talking about the only light that we turned on was
the one in my room," Dave said, as he went over to the kitchen window.

"That's your parent's room, why are the lights on?" Neal asked. Just
then Scott had pulled up the driveway and the light in Dave's house
turned off.

"Neal, call the police. I think someone broke into Dave's house,"
Danielle said.

"What's with all the faces?" Scott asked when he walked in the house.

"Mom thinks someone broke into Dave's house because as soon as you
pulled in the driveway one of the bedroom lights turned off," Nicole
said.

"Matt, turn off the kitchen light now," Scott said sternly.

"Why dad?" Matt asked as he turned the light off.

"Because if someone is in the house then, they won't see us in the
window. I want you guys to stay here and lock the door, after I leave.
Is that understood? Neal tell them that I'm going in, and request
immediate back up," Scott said.

"Okay, dad. Be careful," Nicole said.

"Dave, do you guys have an alarm?" Scott asked.

"Yes, but I never reset it after what happened this morning. Here Scott
take the keys," Dave said. Scott took the keys and then went quietly
towards Dave's back door. Just then another light went on in Dave's
house, but this time it was downstairs.

"Mom Lt. Frank wants to talk to you," Neal said as he handed her the
phone.

"Hello?"

"Mrs. Johnson, it's Lt. Frank, I need to know what's happening," Scott
just went over to Annie and James' house, because there lights keep
turning on and off. And no one is home."

"Are you sure no one's home? Maybe one of their kids might be there?"

"That's impossible."

"Why is that impossible, Mrs. Johnson?"

"Because Matt up at college, and Daves' standing right here."

"Well, squad car 5 should be there soon. Are you sure that Matt's at
college? Maybe he came home for the weekend?"

"No he's not because I just talked to him about an hour ago. The police
just showed up,"

"Okwy, I'm gonna let you go then."

"Oh my god someone just shoot a gun,"

"Mrs. Johnson calm down, it's going to be okay, You said that the
police were there, and besides, we got one of finest officers on the
scene."

"Ok, Thank you Lt. Frank , tell your wife that I said hi. Bye."

"I will, Mrs. Johnson. Bye." Then Lt. Frank hung up.

"Mom does this mean that you and dad aren't going out tonight?" J
asked.

"I don't know. I'll have to talk to you father," Danielle said.
