We released this diaper rather than being a baby diaper we released it as a Youth diaper it has the same shape and single Velcro tape but with older kids in mind we have three new patterns Harry Potter and Barbie and Spiderman. Hi, I was born on March 1999 my I could not ask or a better mom or dad. They loved me so much. My story started when I was 5. It was my first day of pre-school. I was really nervous and didn't want to leave my mum for the first time like I suppose other kids did, but after I got settled in things didn't seem so bad. The only thing different was I was one of 5 kids wearing diapers to pre-school. I knew that big boys wore underwear but I couldn't understand why they did. Maybe it was my 5-year-old mind, but I couldn't understand why a person would have to hold themselves all the time and having to run to toilets and sit and wait on them, and underwear didn't have to cool designs on the front and didn't feel nowhere near as good. Anyway, school was great and by the end of the year I was still in diapers, but one of my friends started wearing underwear and not diapers. I asked him why. He said his mommy made him but he told me he didn't like them and they felt yucky and using a toilet is boring. And you have to dress yourself. This was enough for me never to use a toilet again! After my friend said it I was scared to death. It was the end of the year and I was on school holidays and mom told me she was going to potty train me for big school next year. When I heard that I freaked. I cried and I threw myself. I did everything to tell mum I didn't want to be trained. She tried underwear but as soon as she put them on I tried my best to poo or wee in them as fast as I could. I was soon re-diapered. And I was happy again. Mum and I were out buying me my new school uniform some smart grey shorts with a grey short and tie and blazer. The lady asked my mum if was going to wear my diapers to school mum said yes, and the lady said she would put some snaps in the shorts for me to make it easier to change. I didn't think much of it but I was really hoping that I wouldn't be the only one at school wearing diapers and having to worry about the snaps in my shorts showing off my diaper when I sat down or played. A week later school started and was happy to see I wasn't the only one wearing diapers to school in fact there was 10 boys in my year wearing diapers. Some had plastic pants over them some even had snaps like mine. It was about this time I heard the other boys talking about new Pampers when I asked what new Pampers they said they are now making a size 7 for us bigger kids. I could believe it I had almost grown out of the size 6 and mom was thinking of using an ugly adult diaper on me. As soon as I got home and got my bum changed and into my play clothes I asked mom to buy me some new Pampers size 7 for me, she was surprised too we then both hoped in the car and went to the shops and there they where in the baby isle NEW Pampers baby dry size 7 mom grabbed two packs and we paid for them. It wasn't until the next day mom was getting my dressed for school. She opened the new pack of Pampers and opened it up and placed it under my butt. After the baby oil and a bit of powder she took the front of the diaper and brought it up between my legs and taped it tightly over my stomach. It was then I looked down and noticed how much longer they where and covered my back and covered most of my stomach and the thickness between my legs where incredible! I didn't like the teddy bears on the tapes but that wasn't something big to worry about. Mum pulled up my school shorts and did the snaps up and helped me off my change table to the ground I went to walk to the kitchen and could feel the huge amount of diaper between my legs and had to keep my legs apart while I walked. School was great! At lunch a few of the boys, some who wore diapers and some who didn't, all wanted to see my new Pampers. I unsnapped my shorts and showed them they all stood there in amazement. They all loved it. One boy said the teddy bears looked cute, too. I couldn't believe I had boys that didn't wear diapers around me saying how good the diaper looked and how good it must be to wear and to hear them saying they where going to ask their moms to buy them some, too. On the way home from school I couldn't believe I had wet my new Pampers 4 times and they still didn't feel like they needed to be changed. But as my mom loved me she changed me and I got into my play clothes. The next day at school I couldn't believe my eyes there was now 16 boys at my school wearing diapers. I was so happy to see more boys like me wearing diapers and really enjoying them, not thinking they were only for babies. As the school year went on I saw only one or two boys wearing diapers in the year above me but by the end of the year there was 21 boys at my school wearing diapers and was now socially acceptable to wear. Some boys had snaps like me in their shorts and when winter came we had snaps in our grey school pants too. It was funny to see a few boys leak threw their diapers and wet there pants and had to go to the school nurse and get changed. The next year I was in year two and the same boys where still wearing there Pampers the total number had risen to 22 with two other boys wearing feel and learn training pants or Easy Ups. But midway into the school year one of my friends came running towards me and said, "Guess what?" I couldn't wait and said, "Just tell me," he said Pampers is making new diapers and they're in the shops today, but he didn't know what was new about them. He said he was going shopping with his mom to buy some after school. I couldn't wait, either. I knew as soon as mum picked me up from school I was going to get her to drive me to the shops. It must have been the longest day in the year but school was finally over and mom drove me to the shops. There they were, NEW Pampers Size 7 Youth diapers and NEW Pampers size 8 youth diapers! Mum got me another two packs of size 7. I was so happy to see them make size 8! I knew some of my bigger friends would love them and it meant some older boys at school might start wearing them too. And best of all, I knew I could keep wearing them for a few more years at least. The next morning I woke up and mum got me dressed for school and pulled out one of the new Pampers for me to wear. When she pulled it up between my legs mum had to spread my legs just to get it up to my belly. I looked down to see my legs firmly held apart and the great new Spiderman prints on them. They looked so cool! I was so happy to be wearing them! I loved Spiderman and with him on the front it meant big boys like me weren't babies, we where big boys who wore diapers and had diapers for us big boys and not baby diapers for big boys. Mom pulled my shorts up and I got off my change table to realise I couldn't put my legs together at all. It was so bad I had to walk with my legs far apart. I couldn't walk properly and my mom asked if everything was okay. I said, "No, I cant walk properly." She told me that I was walking properly for someone who wears diapers; haven't I seen a toddler waddling around in his thick diapers before? She said that if I wanted I could use up the rest of the old Pampers. I said, "No, I love these and they're so cool and I will get used to walking funny." On the way into school I noticed that when I waddled you could hear the plastic crinkle. It never happened before because they where cloth but these where plastic and every time I moved my legs it make loud plastic sounds from my pants. It was like a siren big boy waddling through. I could see when I saw some of the other boys wearing diapers. They had the new ones on like I did because of their legs being pushed apart. We talked and decided the new diapers where great being so thick we don't need to be changed at school and Spiderman was much better. Soon enough, all the boys that wore diapers started to get the new Pampers youth diapers. The numbers rose to 55 boys in my year that wore diapers. It seemed that now they had Spiderman on them they were cool to wear. It was also great to see many bigger kids wearing diapers and waddling around the playground. It wasn't too long to see that more than half of the boys in school were wearing diapers. I was so happy wearing my diapers and I had a good laugh when I saw kids getting teased because he didn't wear one. Soon plastic pants where available in school uniform shops in all sizes and snap shorts and pants where standard stock. The school finally put in a few change tables, and the school had free supplies of Pampers on hand if any one needed a change. A year later almost everyone in school was in a diaper but the higher school still didn't wear them. It was funny to see that I went from one of a few boys wearing them to almost everyone waddling around the playground and seeing diapers and wet diapers sticking out of the snaps from their shorts. The school started to sell a school grey onesie with the school logo available with locking crutch or with snaps. Mom got me one of the onesies with snaps and it made the diaper hold firmly against me but made the diaper stay between my legs more so it meant more waddle. Next year everyone had gotten used to walking with their diapers on and it was very strange to see a boy not wearing them. We all knew how to walk with the thickness between our legs and our legs had gotten used to running and walking that way all day. But as my mum and I went shopping for more diapers I saw that they where filling the shelves up with new Pampers stock there was a whole aisle for them; no longer a baby aisle, it was a new diaper aisle. Pampers had released a whole new line of Pampers Ultra-Dry diapers in sizes newborn to huge adult sizes. I was so happy to see that now everyone could wear one and I could keep wearing them no matter how old I was. I got two packs of the shelf of size 8. It the first time I had tried the new size but I wanted to try something that was a little bigger on me. I looked over and I saw mom buying some in an adult size I asked her who where they for she smiled at me and said for her of course now you're not the only one who can wear them. The next day for school mom put the new ultra dry diaper size 8 on me. I couldn't believe how big it was for me. It went all the way up my back and the front came to just below my breast. They where too big but mum said it's good for protection and we would go back to size 7 when these were finished. It was then I noticed they had placed a double pad in the middle and was firmly pushing my legs apart. Mum put my shorts on me and I went to school trying to walk to best I could with my diaper on. It was from that day everything changed slowly. All boys wore diapers and it was very uncommon to see anybody, child or adult, that didn't have a big thick bum and walking with their legs apart. They stopped making underwear, or I couldn't find any and all shorts stopped being made and where replaced with onesies for adult or children. Toilets where gone, too; they were all being ripped down and replaced with one change station and a Pampers vending machine. Put your $2 in and choose your size and out came a fresh diaper, some baby wipes and a bag for your old diaper. Everyone looked so happy. The best thing about the new diapers is that they made everyone come back down to earth and everyone felt so safe a secure that all wars stopped and there was peace on earth.
