If you read stories on this site, you may be familiar with Robbie and 
Jack. Their world is the same as the world we all live in, except for 
one important thing: All boys around their 10th birthday lose bladder 
control. It�s a natural part of pre-puberty, whereby the prostate gland 
grows out of proportion to the bladder, causing the bladder to be 
pressed against and making boys lose control of urine. This is not 
painful, just embarrassing. By 12 to 13, boys start to grow out of this 
because puberty is setting in and the prostate slows down its growth 
rate. Once the bladder grows to even capacity with the prostate, boys 
regain the sense of when it�s time to pee and they can be re-toilet 
trained.

To deal with this worldwide phenomenon, boys go back into diapers at 
age 10, and stay in them until they have been successfully toilet 
trained, usually 2 to 3 years later. All of the brands for babies, such 
as Pampers, Huggies and Luvs make diapers for pre-pubescent and 
pubescent boys, too. They�re sold in the same aisles of the stores as 
the baby sizes, but the packaging is age-appropriate to the boys who 
wear them. Commercials on TV for boys� sizes diapers are common, 
especially on stations that show cartoons, sports and other programs 
aimed at boys of this age. Dads and other adult male family members 
take charge of changing their pre-pubescent and pubescent boys. Male 
teachers and principals do the honors while the boys are at school, and 
every school for boys between the grades of 4th-8th has an ample stock 
of diapers for all of those changes. Lavatory breaks for these boys 
means going to the change room for a fresh diaper.

It's now December of 1985, and both Jack and Robbie have been 
completely diaper-free for more than a year, both day and night. Their 
great-uncle Tom has two grandsons that live far away, and only visit a 
couple of times a year. They are Alex and Marcus. Alex is 15, the same 
age as Jack, and both are sophmores in high school. Robbie is 14, a 
ninth grader in his last year of junior high. Marcus just turned 13 in 
October. He's in the seventh grade in junior high, and began toilet 
training shortly after his birthday. Two months into toilet training, 
he wears training briefs with rubber pants during the day and a diaper 
at night. Training briefs look basically like regular white briefs. 
They are made of cotton with an elastic waist band, and you can pull 
them open in the front when you stand to pee. However, the entire 
central part of the briefs have half-inch thick cloth padding to help 
absorb urine when trainers don't make it to the toilet on time. Since 
they do not have a plastic cover like disposable diapers do, they 
usually leak as soon as they get wet. Therefore, boys in training 
briefs wear rubber underpants over top of them to hold in the pee if 
they have an accident.

The practice in most schools for boys in training pants is that if they 
have an accident, a male teacher or teacher's aide will change them 
into a diaper. Boys in diapers automatically get changed twice during 
the school day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. They'll 
get changed more than twice if they tell they're teacher or the aid 
that they feel wet, or if they're diaper leaks onto their clothes. It's 
policy for boys between fourth and seventh grade to be required to keep 
one extra change of clothes at school in case they have an accident. 
Being automatically put into diapers once boys wet they're training 
pants in school, is for practicality. Sometimes these boys will have a 
second accident the same day, and wet another pair of training pants, 
and possibly a second set of clothing. Therefore, schools draw the line 
of one accident in training pants per day. It's fathers' responsibility 
to train their sons at home, and not to tie up the teachers and the 
aides all day with toilet training. 

Marcus has been doing fair with toilet training the last couple of 
months. He's had to be put in diapers a few times at school, but he's 
starting to get the hang of it. However, changes in routine and busy 
days can make it harder for him to pay attention to his body's signals, 
and that's when accidents are most likely to happen. It's between 
Christmas and New Years now, and Marcus, Alex and their parents are 
staying at grandpop Tom's house for the holidays. There's a New Year's 
Eve party tonight, and all of the family and a lot of friends are 
there. The four teenage cousins are hanging out after dinner and go 
into the bedroom that Alex and Marcus are sharing.

Robbie and Jack both notice that there's an opened box of Pampers on 
the floor next to one of the beds. They didn't think that that was so 
unusual since Marcus was only 13. Jack was past 13 before he was 
trained during the day, and nearly 14 before he could be diaper free at 
night. One day when he was almost 14 and a half, his grandpop and 
great-uncle Tom decided to put him in Pampers because he had drank too 
much coffee and was peeing so frequently that he couldn't stay out of 
the bathroom. Robbie was basically trained during the day by 12 and a 
half, and was diaper free at night sometime after his 13th birthday. 
Marcus and Alex had been hanging out with Jack and Robbie a few other 
times during this holiday visit, and neither Jack nor Robbie had 
noticed that Marcus ever needed changing. Both wondered silently to 
themselves if Marcus had a Pamper on, but they didn't say anything. 
Unobtrusively they did look at his bottom a little to see if it had 
some bulk or to see if any plastic was peeking out over top of his 
pants, simply because they were curious. They thought that he had some 
bulk, but were not really sure. They thought maybe he had a diaper on, 
maybe training pants, maybe even regular underpants, they just were not 
sure.

Alex got a portable phone from his grandpop's room, and the four boys 
made some prank New Year's Eve phone calls. Jack and Alex were on 
Alex's bed, and Robbie and Marcus were on Marcus's bed. The boys 
laughed like crazy for about a half-hour, and since they were away from 
everyone else, no one knew that they were making calls. Marcus did not 
pay attention to his body, and about 30 minutes into the prank phone 
calls he peed in his training pants. He was lucky this time because no 
urine leaked onto his clothes or onto the bed. However, he really felt 
wet and was uncomfortable. He was a little self-conscious of announcing 
that he had peed himself in front of his cousins who were older than 
him and surely long past accidents, so he thought. He decided to sit in 
his pee soaked briefs and rubber pants for a while as they continued 
taking turns making prank calls. After another 15 minutes or so went 
by, Marcus's underpants were feeling cold and sticking to his skin, and 
he really wanted to be changed. He gained enough courage to reach over 
to the box of Pampers by his bed and take one out of the box, look at 
his brother across from him and say, "I need a Pamper."

It sounds a little corny to us, but no teenage boy knows how to change 
a diaper on another boy in this world. It just simply is not done, nor 
ever thought of. Adult males change all of the prepubescent and 
pubescent boys who are in diapers or training pants. They take 
responsibility for making sure the boys are properly clean and dry. 
Nobody babysits until he is 18 and an adult.

When Marcus says that he needs a Pamper, and has one in his hand, his 
brother Alex says: "Did you pee your pants?" Marcus nods his head yes. 
Robbie, who is sitting on the bed next to him scoots his butt way over 
to the end of the bed away from Marcus, acting like he's afraid of 
getting wet, smiling at the others while he does it. Marcus announces: 
"I've got rubber pants on, you won't get wet." Robbie replies, "I 
remember what those rubber pants are like, they don't hold too much 
man. I'll sit next to yeh when you've got your Pamper on." Alex says to 
Marcus, "you go tell Dad or Grandpop that you need changing, and I'll 
put the phone back in his room. You guys (looking at Jack and Robbie) 
just act like we're hangin� out when I come back. Dad or Grandpop will 
probably come in here to change him."

Marcus heads downstairs to find his father or grandfather. He 
purposefully carries the Pamper with him to show them that he wants a 
diaper for the rest of the night and no more training pants. It's 
really they're decision whether he wears a diaper or training pants, 
not his. However, he really wants to plead the cause for a Pamper, 
because he doesn't want to pee his pants in front of his cousins again. 
Both his dad and grandpop are pretty easy on him about wearing a 
diaper. His dad keeps Pampers in the car and always puts one on him if 
he wets his training pants away from home, and never scolds him about 
it. Still, he thinks he has a better shot of getting put in a Pamper 
tonight if he tells grandpop about his accident rather than dad.

When he comes downstairs he scopes the crowded living room, hoping he 
will find his grandfather before his dad. He sees that grandpop is in 
the living room, and his dad is not in sight, which means he's probably 
in the kitchen. Marcus walks right over to where his grandpop is 
standing with his brother (Robbie & Jack's grandpop) and some other 
older men. One of the men sees Marcus walking over with his diaper in 
hand, smiles at him and says to the group of men: "looks like someone 
wants his dydee changed. How yeh doin Marcus", the man says. "I'm 
fine", Marcus replies and the two shake hands. The man says: "Boy 
you're growin-up. You're not gonna need them diapers too much longer 
the way you're shootin up." Marcus replies, "hope not." His grandfather 
Tom replies, "I take it yeh need one now son." Marcus looks at his 
grandfather and goes "yeah." Tom feels his grandsons bottom and 
discovers how heavy his underpants are from all of the pee, and says: 
"you're not kiddin," then he says to his buddies, " I'll be right back 
after I do my grandfatherly duty." Tom takes the Pamper from his 
grandson's hand and the two go upstairs to the boys' bedroom. Tom 
jokingly says to the other three boys, "what yeh-all up to, no good?�

�We're just hangin-out," replies Alex. "There's lots of good deserts 
down there, why don't you go and get some.�

�Cool they reply.�

�I'll have this guy ready to return to you in a minute," says Tom.

Robbie and Alex go downstairs, and Jack goes into the bathroom next 
door to Alex and Marcus' room. Marcus gets out a changing pad, lays it 
on his bed, then lays himself down on his bed. His grandpop unzips his 
pants and pulls them down, then he starts to pull down his rubber 
underpants. Jack can hear their conversation from the bathroom next 
door. Tom says to Marcus: "boy you soaked your drawers good. You want a 
dydee on?" Marcus looks up at his grandpop and nods yes. "I guess you 
wouldn't have brought me one if you didn't want it put on yeh, would 
yeh?" Marcus nods no. Tom removes Marcus's shoes, pulls his pants 
completely off of him, then pulls the wet rubber pants and the 
saturated training briefs from off of his body. He gets a container of 
Wet-Ones and anounces to him "bottoms up." Marcus lifts his bottom and 
Tom wipes his entire diaper area, then applies diaper cream to him and 
says "bottoms down." Marcus lowers himself back on the bedpad while Tom 
wipes the cream from his hands with a wet one, and drys them off on the 
edges of the changing pad. Then he opens up the Pamper, anounces 
"bottoms up". Marcus lifts his bottom, and Tom slides the Pamper 
underneath of him and says "bottoms down." Marcus lowers himself down 
onto the Pamper and Tom brings up the front of it between Marcus's 
legs, then tapes up the sides. "I havn't done that since the last time 
I saw you at your house this summer," Tom says. "Not bad for an old guy 
who's out of practice, huh.�

�Not bad at all pop, thanks a lot.�

�Ahh that's part of what being a grandpop is all about son, glad to do 
it.�

�Have you guys got a plastic bag in here that I can put yer undies in 
until they get washed?�

�Yeh Pop", says Marcus, and he gets his grandpop a plastic shopping bag 
from the closet.

The two go downstairs together. Jack had just left the bathroom and 
headed downstairs ahead of them. Tom says, "How�s our boy Jack." Jack 
replies, "Good." Tom puts his hand on Jack's shoulder and says to 
Marcus, "it wasn't too long ago that yer great-uncle John and I were 
puttin� diapers on him, now he uses the toilet all the time and can 
almost pass for a man. You won't be far behind." Everyone enjoys the 
rest of the party, and all see the New Year in.

Part 2:

Now it is August of 1986. Robbie was one month shy of 15, and Jack had 
turned 16 in June. Their cousins Alex and Marcus have returned to their 
grandpops to spend a month with him. Their parents stay for the first 
week, then the boys stay with their grandparents for the rest of the 
month. One day that first week when the parents were still there, they 
drive over to Jack's house, which is next door to his own grandfather's 
house, which is Tom's brother's house. Alex is now 16 and Marcus is two 
months shy of 14. Marcus has stopped wearing training pants and wears 
regular underwear during the day, and Pampers at night. His dad still 
keeps some Pampers in the car just in case, but he hasn't had a daytime 
accident now for several weeks. Still, those changes in routine and 
busyness make it easier for Marcus to loose focus on how his body 
feels, which make him more vulnerable to having an accident.

It's a hot summer day and everyone is wearing shorts, and drinking lots 
of liquids. Marcus has olive green shorts on and a tee shirt with an 
emblem. The boys have been hanging out the entire day, and now it's 
after 3:00 pm. The men start getting the barbecue ready for the 
cookout, and the boys help bring food out from the kitchen and set up 
chairs that they've been carrying out from the basement. Marcus feels 
like he has to pee, and just as he notices this feeling, his great-
uncle asks him to hold down the big outdoor tent while he fastens the 
stakes that hold it up. This means that Marcus needs to hold the 
previous stake that his uncle nailed down while his uncle nails down 
the next corner. Everyone else is in the house or in the basement at 
this particular minute, getting other stuff, so Marcus is the only one 
available right then and there to help his uncle, who is really 
struggling to keep this tent up until it's fully secured. This process 
takes a lot longer than Marcus anticipated, but once he started 
helping, he felt that he couldn't stop until it was done. He tries to 
hold the pee, but buy the time his uncle is nailing the last stake, 
it's too late. Marcus pees his pants as he's kneeling in the grass next 
to the tent. He leaves a big puddle on the grass, and he has a huge 
dark wet spot on the back of his olive green shorts. He's super 
embarrassed and is not at all eager to get up from where he's been 
kneeling. Eventually, his great-uncle has got the tent fully secured, 
and he announces, "Finally, it's done.�

�Couldn't have done it without you Marcus, thanks a million.�

�Don't mention it Uncle John", Marcus replies. Marcus continues to 
kneel over the spot where he peed. John looks at him and says, "you can 
get up now son.�

�Ah, o.k.", Marcus replies, and he gets up. John says, "you and I 
deserve a drink of something cold after all that stuggle, how about 
some lemonade?�

�Sounds good," Marcus replies. John is not looking at Marcus and they 
walk together back into the house and talk, so he does not notice that 
Marcus has wet himself. 16 year old Jack comes out of the back door at 
about this time. His grandpop John says, "you're cousin and I just got 
the tent up, boy was that a struggle. We're taking a lemonade break, 
want to join us.�

�Sure", replies Jack. Jack takes the stuff he's carrying and puts it 
near the tent and the barbecue, then comes back into the house and sees 
the big wet spot on the back of Marcus's shorts. He says, "dude, don't 
sit down on anything, the back of your pants are all wet." Marcus now 
is really embarrassed, and John looks at Marcus's bottom and says, "oh 
boy you had a flood, did I keep you from taking care of yer business 
when you were helpin� me with that tent?" Marcus shyly nods yes. John 
puts his hand lovingly on his great-nephew's shoulder and says, we'll 
get you cleaned up, don't worry about it, it was an accident, that's 
all, just an accident." John is not quite sure what to do since it's 
not his own son or grandson. He says to him, "let's find your dad and 
I'll explain to him that you were helpin� me keep that tent from 
fallin� down and it took a long time, which made you have an accident. 
We'll put the blame on me. But first of all, let's get a quick drink of 
this lemonade cause we're thirsty." Marcus feels a little bit better 
now, and stands in the kitchen and has a cup of lemonade with his 
cousin and great-uncle.

Once everyone was done they're lemonade, John says to Marcus: "Let's 
find your dad and see how he wants you to get cleaned up. I've still 
got some diapers upstairs from when this guy and his cousin were 
wearin� em, yeh can have one of them if you and yer dad are ok with 
that. Or maybe you and he would prefer to run over to your grandpop's 
house and change yer clothes. I'll tell him it's my fault for making 
you wait and hold down that tent."

The guys walk outside, and they see Marcus's dad and uncle pull up in 
his dad's car. They had gone out to buy some beer. When they got out of 
the car, John, Marcus and Jack walk to meet them, and the other boys 
see them and join up with them. The first thing out of his dad's mouth 
was, "hey Marcus, you and your brother and cousins help me get some of 
this beer out of the trunk and into the coolers, o.k.�

�Sure dad," says Marcus. Marcus walks to the trunk of the car to get 
some of the beer, and as he's walking his dad looks at him from the 
back and says, "wait a minute, you're all wet. What happened son? Why 
didn't you tell me you were wet, you know I've got some Pampers in the 
back seat, I would have put one on yeh before I had yeh go get that 
beer." Great-uncle John chimes in and tells what happened. "That's 
o.k.", say's Marcus's dad. He looks at Marcus and says, "you just need 
to tell me if you have an accident, so I can clean yeh up, o.k?�

�O.k dad," says Marcus quietly. His dad opens the back seat of the four 
door, reaches in for a Pamper and tells Marcus to lay down on the back 
seat. Marcus lays down, kicks of his flip flops, and his dad takes his 
wet shorts and underwear off of him, then gets the small pack of wet 
ones and the little towel that were with the diapers, cleans him up, 
and puts the Pamper on him. He puts the wet clothes in a plastic 
shopping bag that was in the car and says, "you're good to go son, now 
go back and help you're uncle.�

�O.K.," says Marcus. He puts his flip flops back on and heads back 
toward the house wearing his tee-shirt, flip flops and a Pamper. In 
this culture it's quite common for boys of 10-13 to not wear pants over 
their diaper when it's hot.

A little bit later, great-uncle John sees the wet spot on the grass 
where Marcus had peed. He sees Marcus and says, "I bet this spot is 
gonna grow the best lookin� grass in the whole yard, cause it got the 
best fertilizer." He puts his arm around Marcus and says, "I'm just 
messin� with you." The two laugh and Marcus spends the rest of the day 
and evening, and the following night wearing Pampers. He gets changed 
once again on the back seat after dinner. A great time was had by all.
