The Baby and I Summary: This is the story about me Ginny and my baby brother Nate, who is 4 years older than me. This explains his punishments due to his misbehaving then he gets into an accident. Hi I’m Ginny. I’m 13 and I have to take care of my brother Nate, who is 17. This started when he failed his geography midterm (I think). Our mom got really upset and threatened Nate if he did anything else that was bad she would take serious measures to put him in line. A month latter I was on AIM (AOL Instant Messenger) and I heard that Nate got kicked off the soccer team for swearing at the coach for not letting him start. Mom said she would look up his punishment on the internet. I singed off AIM and scurried off to finish my geometry homework. When I went back to the computer Mom asked what was a better punishment the one with treating the misbehaved one(Nate)as a baby and being totally innocent for an extended period of time or the one where he would just be spanked and told never to that again. I went with the one about babying him. I thought it would be fun. So we told Nate. He went crazy. He said he was a sophomore and not a baby. Mom said to me to get the car seat. I look at her questioningly and went to get it. This was from me when I was like 2 or 3. Since Nate had a growth disorder he still fit in it and look like a 2 or 3 year old; that’s why he took special courses at the local community collage. We went to Costco. We bought size 6 Pampers Cruisers because they were on sale, bottles binkies, footed sleepers, a crib, highchair, changing table, playpen, baby food and bibs. I think we spent like at leas 100 dollars on this stuff. When we got home we set up the playpen which was the old playpen we had and stacked it on top of the new one so Nate couldn't get out. We set up the crib and changing table. While mom explained the rules to Nate I set up the highchair. The rules were if you took off the diaper you get s spanking, if you break anything you will get a belt, if you act rudely we will extend the period you will be babied. He was reluctant to do so. Mom taught me how to double diaper him to prevent leaks. It was easy you rip the front off and replace with another diaper. We put him in a blue Barney footed sleeper. He began to cry and in went the pacifier. Then he sucked. at around 4:30 we fed him 2 jars of baby food. Then at 7:30 it was bed time for Nate. After mom rocked him to bed in the rocking chair she made me drag down from the attic(literally) she told me to invite a friend over to help watch the baby while she went to the party her company was having. KI invited my friends Rachel, Gia, and Chiara. The laughed when the saw him and while they laughed he wet and soiled himself. I said nice girls you made him messy now I have to clean him. Since it was their fault they helped. After we changed him we got Borat from on demand but since he was a baby he had to got to bed because it was in inappropriate movie for him. He kicked and screamed so we gave him a pacifier and bottle and put him in the playpen in the other room and let him watch the TV in there. Halfway through the movie Chiara went to check on him. She found him asleep on the floor. She brought him to his room changed him and brought him back to the movie. When the movie was over we put hi in the crib and went to my room. We talked about girl stuff and then went to sleep. We woke up to screaming. We found Nate had fallen out of the crib while trying to climb out. Mom brought him to the hospital where the told us that he broke his wrist in his right arm and broke the same bone in his left arm.(I’m sorry that didn't make much sense =])But anyway he had casts on both arms . He couldn't go to the bathroom. Some he stayed in diapers. He remained like this until July but still had to wear diapers because he lost control of his bowels. Here we are two years latter and he still likes being babied but since mom died of a hear attack I’m his new *mommy* and I don’t think it’s too bad anymore.
